Ever since I started trying to get better at counter-strike, I’ve been intrigued by the idea of working with a coach. But I always felt like it wouldn’t be worth it for a lower skilled player like myself. Like won’t I just get better if I play more? Isn’t it kind of embarrassing to spend money on something I actively suck at? I’m not sure why exactly I’ve made these judgments. After all, hiring a coach or tutor is an accepted practice for novices in all sorts of hobbies and activities - so why not competitive video games? After waffling for a bit, I decided it would be easier to justify this to myself by making content out of it, so here we are.

Remember the self pop flashes are almost useless for flashing top mid because top mid is too far away it will only half blind. They are very good for punishing players running down mid to bottom connector or on cat. Great vid!
it serves your teammate on Windows who can take advantage of a peak from an upper middle T or avoid a 3-man peak but the flash must be well timed. it also serves to neutralize the flashes of the terrorists from the upper middle and the T spawn which can blind the awper and protect him from a disadvantage 1v1. at lower elo it serves to tell "you will not pass".

Also, just like your coach said, you can definitely see improvement in your gameplay and mainly your aim. Keep it up!

Great video. I like how you're standing your ground a bit and explain your thoughts too, instead of just saying "yes yes" to everything. It provides important context to us viewers(or at least to me).

coach: "that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard and I'm considering canceling this coaching session"
I started playing con and throwing that flash mid every round, I ended a game and had 30 enemies flashed as my title card. It works very well and really helps that window player.
I've had a similar experience with it : )

I have had good rounds nading A main from jungle as well as mollys on tetris. It works wonders on teams afraid to push past tetris (they get pushed into fights unprepared). Many people still overlook the bin angle - outside of the jungle smoke if they forget to molly it, you can push through and get quite a few kills (also might be useful with the 32:17 smoke).

Good coach imo. Hes iterating what my 26k friend taught me. And he gets you to focus on what normal solo q players dont do. By doing the jobs nobody wants to do you can bring the team winrate up. Any team u play with.
Not sure if you’ll see this comment but I’m seeing a lot of support and criticism regarding the 3rd round buying decision. I think it’s incredibly nuanced and stems from how terrible CT economy is and how strong T economy is. In this particular example, I agree that buying probably a famas and light armor is stronger than a smg and full armor w/ nades. Simply because the Ts did not get a bomb plant on round 1. A bomb plant in round 1 should always result in a buy from the Ts in round 2 even if they lose round 1. If a bomb plant happens, they buy round 2 and lose, then 3rd round they have to save and I can see an argument for trying to rack up cash with an smg. For some reason, it looks like they half bought or something in round 2 but have gotten away with a decent buy in round 3 because T economy is so broken. That’s why I’d pick a famas w/ light armor and 1 or 2 nades. In summary, it depends on A LOT of nuanced factors regarding if there was a bomb plant, how many players stayed alive for these rounds on CT side in particular, and what purchases were made in rounds 1 and 2. Hopefully this helps if you somehow find this post!
I forgot to explain the alternative! If a bomb plant doesn’t happen in round 1 my point in support of a rifle buy is that they most likely saved round 2 and are full buying on round 3.
It even depends on how you want to play the round. Like if you are playing top hut on Nuke CT side then you can use an smg or shotgun regardless. Sorry, I promise this is the last message 😂

I agree with most of what he says but there is nothing wrong with buying 2nd round util instead of an m4. I probably would've opted for a frag+flash instead of the incendiary though
30:45 What I'm picking up here is that, at least for me, it would be good to launch a practice server and run around imagining different scenarios ive played out and find ways of using utility efficiently to delay/deter the enemy team.
I've heard of some folks refer to this as "Shadowboxing". Just pretending youre against enemies and drilling the motions into your head so that, when youre actually against enemies, you dont have to think about it.

I don't really know CS econ quite that well but your mindset on round 3 is definitely a Valorant thing, though typically you'll ask for an upgraded pistol from a teammate that still has one from pistol so that you can afford util and shields to help out in the bonus

3rd round bonus is definitely a thing in long cs matches. Idk if this coach only plays short matches or something but saying to 100% force after every round you win is a dumb thing to say

A T wont always sprint directly to underpass so I think it's more based on feel. I've been checking underpass after seeing what's happening top mid and have gotten a few kills with it that way.

a general tipp is also if your losing the aimduels or dying always first on a a execute, just fall back into con and using the height difference to get some kills & ("playing for retake") + nade the smoke to get a clear vision. Or using the box to get a vision to palace.
How are you watching demo's? Literally unable to download my own demos from cs2. Also I can't download them from the stats screen in steam aswell.

the coach is wrong at 4:20 bonus rounds are a thing and you can save or buy as a team
He never said bonus rounds aren't a thing, he said bonus rounds mean you keep the weapons you had the previous round, he was commenting on how this guy only bought a five-seven because it was a bonus round, which isn't a thing.

When i enter steam through browser and try do download my demo it doesnt show Download GOTV Replay button, does anyone have fix for this?
Replays are disabled for Valve servers, he has one because this was a FACEIT match

@@xboxlasagne Ah. I was able to download my first CS2 mm game. Then an update came out and I can't view possible cheater pov's anymore. I don't even think the vac ai anti-cheat even works.
Played a wingman and 1 enemy knew every time where we were. Even pre-fired through smoke while we walked. Perfect flashes/nades with no intel.
What rank is he? He said util doesn’t matter for that rank and just curious. I’m LE for go 10k and lvl 6 faceit so curious😊

his first comment about round 2 and not buying util and buying up m4 really gets under my skin. Its the wrong mentality when trying to coach a player trying to improve. Its instilling bad habits that even if he is right and they " wont exec at this level" once hes past them he will try and do the same thing since that's what his coach has instilled in him. but suddenly, they are execing at that level and your being overrun and gifting them a free m4 for their post plant. I get what hes trying to say I really do. I just cant agree with this line of teaching. He has alot of great info in this video but just had to say something about that first one.
You're wrong though. Even at Faceit 10 people are still buying a rifle without util. There are plenty of reasons to do this on round 2.
The players buying util on round 2 are the ones who can't afford m4
@@colepulis2560yes some do in level 10, those with insane mechanical aim, your average level 10 though like myself isn’t cracked like that. Making the site not viable for a rush is so much more important than thinking “ oh I’m the greatest I can totally wipe them out all out by myself.” Allowing that delay so rotates can come in is far more important.
@@Nicchelseayou are far better making money and increasing your economy as a CT since they’re on eco than force up an M4. Especially with the change back to mr12.
I think the idea is that he is going to be far more effective with an m4 and no util rather than a famas with util. If you aren't good with util, buying a worse weapon with util is just going to be detrimental to you.

Perhaps I am confused with the 3rd round as well…if you full buy, but your team is bonusing and you guys lose that round. Your team would be able to full buy round 4 but you wouldnt be able to with them, no?
Then either one of your tm8s drop you, or you force whatever you can with them. You have to keep loss bonus in mind as well so if you lose the round after the one you just loss you will still be able to buy deagle with team on save round.
