Hola Vanelys! Soy de PR también y pronto tomaré el examen pero ando mega nerviosa!! Como fue tu experiencia con el examen? Tienes algunas recomendaciones? 🙏🏼✨
Meaghan, I love your videos! They have helped me so much. I'm scheduled to take my boards on May 3rd. Yikes! Do you have any suggestions on how to study?
I wanted to take the time and thank you for all your videos, they were extremely helpful to me and got me to pass my registry yesterday. Big thanks!!!!
Thanks for this video! I took the registry a week ago and ended up with a 73. I felt prepared tbh. I was scoring 80s-90s on my mock exams and also mock on mosbys and RTBC. I think what really threw me off was the wording of the questions. But yes I do agree that go over pelvis! I would say procedures were my weakness, so I’m going over all of that now.
@@wila4403 thank you! And congrats on finishing school. Some advice I would give is to listen to this video above, it helped get me organized. For me getting organized was a big issue. Actually being organized and following the arrt specifications sheet will take a lot of the overwhelming feeling away. Another would be to study the subjects you are not strong in. For me it was image production and procedures. Go over every subject on the arrt specification sheet. It might seem like a lot but it’s not, once you break it all down on sections. I used radrevieweasy and RTBC for practice quizzes. I used mosbys and Lange for my reading material. Also only study for about 2-4 hours a day. I noticed when I studied too long it wasn’t helping.
@@justinf8779 thank you for that detailed response!! Out of the four programs you used, which one did you feel helped you the most or was more similar style to the boards? How long did you study before you decided to take the boards?
Hi Meaghan, My ARRT license was expired in 2017 , I am preparing to reinstate my license, what are the books so I could review to be ready for exam. Thank you so much
Hi, thank you so much for your video! It was helpful 😊 Would it be possible for you to do an updated video since the ARRT changed the exam content specifications a bit effective as of January 1, 2022? Thank you!
Hi, this was made for my students originally. If I have time I might record another. Not much has changed, 30 more pilot questions, gonadal shielding is off, contrast section from imaging chart was removed but contrast resolution is still on the specs. A few modifications to the procedures list also. The idea of this video is about getting organized in your study habits. Glad it has been helpful to others and not just my students!

Hi! I don't give a course but I certainly have some tips!! I am a big fan of following the ARRT content specs list, using rad tech bootcamp (clover learning), and reading the Mosby textbook. If you send me a facebook message I can attach a study guide plan for you. Also the ARRT prep facebook page is helpful!
There are a lot of review programs and books to help prep with questions. Mosby review and Lang Q&A are great review books. Rad tech bootcamp (clover learning) and X-ray Coach are online programs with practice questions and helpful videos. Rad review and Corectec are only practice questions with no videos. ASRT student membership gets you access to practice questions and review modules as well. I would expect that your program also does a review with a practice board exam? Hope that helps answer your question!

if you preliminary score was a 75 in red colors after the exam... is my official score going to tell me something different? or it could only be a 75% or higher after that point

I just passed my exam yesterday. I used correct tec for 2 hours a day for two months before my exam. I repeated every exercise until I passed it with at least a 90%. If I didn’t understand a question I would look it up. I would recommend Clover(Rad Tech Bootcamp). I thought the questions on the registry were similarly worded to the questions on there. I think I would’ve score better if I used clover more. Two people in my class failed but one just retook it and passed. 😊 she used correct tec and clover to study for her second attempt.
No, some are select 2 or select 3, there are hot spot questions where you would be asked to click on an area of anatomy for example. There are also drag and drop questions where you put components in order.
