Nintendo put a lot of effort into the music for this game. I learned today that the composer for the music of Paper Mario The Origami King composed the music for this game too.
At first I was sad that there was not an ocean-based battle theme for this game unlike the prior one, but then I found this. The train-investigation-luxury battle theme. Perfection.
@@JoshyTheSobble Well the remake automatically fills your run gauge during the unbeatable Doopliss encounters, and lets you outright skip them after you get Vivian, and you unlock a shortcut pipe in Creepy Steeple back to Twilight Town after you get the letter "p" back.

You really can tell, especially for the new themes like the Prince Mush battle.
He also worked on the original TTYD as well
@@Cheseeburg I actually didn't know that, I'm glad to see him showing his love for this series and breathing new life into the game!
what a glow up@@Cheseeburg
So that's why there's so many versions of the normal battle theme. No complaints on that, though.
Since when was Cuphead allowed to be in Paper Mario
All that's missing is a group of gangsters decked out in suits moving their arms and snapping their fingers to the beat
and someone swinging their cane in a top hat
and some ladies singing things like "oooooo"
No I think this could be used as like a chase scene in a fancy place
it should be piantas

IT'S JUST THE TRAIN STATION

I LOVE IT

The late game music of TTYD is so good
@@fxvenny7466 yeah totally but the whole late game is good too…
all the music is good, but especially the late game.
@@zonaldinho123yeah after chapter 4 is where ttyd really shines the chapters before 5 are still good but chapters 5-8 are just really good.
@@mallowfan22 all the chapters were good but I agree
this feels like a slightly less intense version of a song that would play while peach was tied to the train tracks
This would have been perfect when mario and huey fought bowser s minions on that train in color splash
Paper mario, but mario and co are fighting three cat bootleggers in the outskirts of st.louis
Or Denver in like 1895
Reminds me of Scooby-Doo!
A theme fit for a detective! 🕵♂️
Enter Pennington.
Bloody Smashin’ tune don’t u agree
Finally, I've been looking for this song extended for a while now!
I can see grodus bopping to this in my head
Damn jazz version hit so hard
love how each of the chapters now has their own version of basic battle themes even the victory themes are different now
I get inspector gadget vibes from one of the lemotifs lmao ❤❤
House of Mouse anyone?
Yeah this has the phantom blot episode vibes to it
Amazing Video! Keep up the good work, my friend.
Sounds like Diablo Swing Orchestra
Sounds like the Even Stevens theme?
Never in a million years did I think they'd bring back the sticker star ost feeling jazz. Still the worst Chapter in the classic trilogy.
You're really saying that when Chapter 2-3 and 5-1 exist in SPM?
*cough cough TTYD Chapter 4 would like to speak to you*
