thanks to chris i never have any issues now with roundabouts ...when i approach any roundabout i instantly hear chris (in my head) with his wise words and great advice.....thanks chris x
Hi World Driving! In July 2020 I passed my theory test first time and on Monday 17th January 2022 I passed my practical driving test with only 4 driving faults. Your videos helped me massively. I also drove independently for the first on Friday 21st January 2022 for a short distance somewhere and then drove back home. I am so happy. I was watching tones of your videos all weekend before my driving test and it helped me boost my confidence and positivity, helped me prepare for the test and helped me with maneuvers and tips for driving safely. Keep up the good work!
Important to "count down" any vehicles in front as well as taking an early view at the roundabout. Obviously make certain the last vehicle has moved off. I always used to explain that all roundabouts and junctions are "similar but different ", if that makes sense!
Such a helpful video. Your video is so careful so l know when l need to check in advance. I am the new beginner you mentioned. I always look straight, stop and then check right. So l missed opportunity and wasting time. Thank you so much.
I failed my test yesterday on a roundabout. Serious Use of mirrors - Change direction, and 5 minors. I did correct myself on the roundabout but I neglected my left mirror when coming off. Managed to find a test in 30 days from now so I am going to re watch all of you're videos and hit the books.
In crowdy places like Manila, Philippines, a hair breadth should be a good opportunity to go! Just make sure not to get stuck in the middle of crossroads and get caught for beating the red light! 😂
Let's admit it... we'd all go along the side of the van at the roundabout as that's our shelter and guarantee that it's safe to go! (except in the test of course) :D
Not sure if you're still replying to this! Got a question on roundabouts.. If there is traffic/queue to go into the first exit (our left), and the right is clear, should we still enter the roundabout and queue in? I'm getting mixed responses, some have argued that - unless I can fully enter the exit, I should not enter the roundabout even if there's space. Those have referenced HWC Section 185: Check the traffic has moved off in front of you before you proceed to enter the roundabout
I just can't seem to get the hang of roundabouts. Everything I do is good in terms of lane discipline. The only thing I struggle with constantly is judging when to go. I understand there can be blockers but sometimes they don't signal and I won't know if they're going straight ahead or turning right.. As far as looking at their wheels. In a very short space I am unable to get all this detail by looking at their tyres. It's juts so confusing
how can i make my turns at a roundabout less harsh? if I'm taking the 3rd or 4th exit, for example. i feel like my turns are too harsh. should i be slower? or faster? or maintain the same speed?
Struggling a bit with spotting windows of opportunity, as the roundabouts I'm practicing on are typically incredibly busy, fast moving, and a lot of the time the roundabouts are very tall and/or covered in bushes/trees, limiting view of what's actually coming around the roundabout... Doesn't help that lots of people don't even indicate when they're on roundabouts at all, so I have no clue where they're planning to go ☹

I think even if you pass your drinking test you still need a refresher now and then, as you never stop learning in life. X
Very great 👍

I’ve had 50 lessons and still struggle with roundabouts and being in the right lanes 🤦♀️
Very nice 👌👌 video

Am I really supposed to turn my head like that though
Great
It would've beed more helpful if you showed a few right turns in this video, every one was left first exit or straight ahead.

The recording makes me so dizzy 😅
Everything is too fast to understand. I felt watching a F1 driver's cockpit. You could show it in a slower motion.
My head is spinning.
nannayit paraunnu
Nammude nattil nadakkilla
Stop swerving that camera it makes me dizzy
Turning right? No? 🙄
Made me so dizzy 🥴 I couldn't watch 😢
To go better, use a V8 cars
Thanks for information
Appreciate you watching 👍
