Hmm, I guess the developers made the game especially hard on Lunatic, because I managed to 1CC it on Easy, and almost 1CC it on Normal on my first runs, and I'm terribly low-skill. At these difficulties, it's a little harder than the usual fare, but nothing that get too aggravating. No-bombing might make it harder though, since I did spam bombs a lot. And you do need to plan a bit as Ninja said. I enjoyed this game in the end. Asides from a few visibility issues and some frame drops here and there, it's a real smooth ride otherwise. Also the callbacks to previous fangames and SA are numerous
This game has one of the most drastic difficulty spikes between normal and hard mode that I've ever seen. The only game I can think of with this much of a difference would be Undefined Fantastic Object.
The game gives a ridiculous amount of bombs compared to mainline games and the death bomb timer is very long. I am normally a normal 1cc player in mainline games, but I got a hard 1cc on this one without much trouble. Although the patterns themselves are harder making it a much harder game if you try to nobomb it, the resources makes the game overall easier if you death bomb. Same deal with HSoB, for some reason the fangame devs like to make the resource game extremely easy.
I managed to beat this on normal. Difficulty was ok, not too hard. My biggest problem is the visibility, especially in stages where so many things flying around. Fullscreen doesn't really help, too. But i like this game. Stage 4 boss music is pretty cool and the stage 5 has a unusual dark theme ^^
Stave 5 boss got like 3 as well (4 if you include her midboss appearance). It seems the final boss was fairly tame when compared to the stages that followed it.
Holy cow that final boss was super amazing (and looked beyond brutal).

Random fact: Losing all lives at the final boss will give you a bad ending, instead of allowing you to retry.
And that Unsettling Player Score theme really adds a dreadful atmosphere

Effect options were set to "Light". Thankfully graphical effects weren't that worse :)
