Speaking as a fan since 2010, I’ve never been this excited about the QB situation and the team as a whole (not as much for this season although I do believe we can surprise people) but for the long term future. I mean we’ve got a serviceable veteran with an amazing presence and mentor ability, someone coming back from injury who is still young and many forget he was one of the better up and coming QBs before he got hurt, and a guy just about everyone sees as the best QB in the draft. And the best part is that it doesn’t feel like a battle or a competition for the starting job like for a lot of teams, it sounds like they’re all working together for the interests of the team.
There's no egos. The chemistry is excellent. Any of these three qbs can lead this offense. Honestly man this competition has to go down as the best ever.
I'm guessing he's odd man out! McCown already knows the Offense and Darnold is the future, so Teddy goes to next available team that loses QB to injury!
I have never been more amped for the Jets season. Finally the month of no football is over. Can't wait to watch the QB competition unfold over the next few weeks.
