Although I am not an introvert,I am used to bottling up my feelings because I can't hold my tears back when I open up to someone.Only meditation can make me calm down when I blow up
thank you so much for this video . its very important to calm down and dont bottle up our feeling about every thing and just open up to other people or family and very useful
Your videos always help me calm down. Now I realize that I shouldn't bottle up my feelings and should open up whenever I'm sad. I used to hold back my tears, but now I want to work on expressing my emotions.
Georgie, you always amazed me how you can squeeze in so many phrasal verbs in less that 3 minutes. And how much I enjoy the way you teach them! Thanks a lot.
@@bbclearningenglish I have some trouble in the block of flats where I live, and at times I blow up, but I definitely don't bottle up my feelings, I'm an extrovert. I open up and talk about those problems even with strangers. Thanks again for the encouragement.🤗
Don't bottle up your feelings. That can make you blow up, and it's not good for your health. You must be open up and let your emotions never hold back. Maybe you'll be taken like a crazy person, but who cares!!!😂😂😂. So, calm down, grab a cuppa and chill out reading my comment. Your health will be grateful/Your health will appreciate that.😂 Dont't freak out and much less break down in tears of emotion when you see me, please!!!😂😂😂 Thank You so much sweet Georgie!!!
👏 Well done for using so many phrasal verbs in your comment! 🤓 Here's a quick tip - we don't need the verb 'be' with 'open up' in this sentence, so you can say instead 'You must open up'.
Georgie, thhank you very much for your helpful lessons on phrasal verbs. When I was a student, I freaked out before my exams. But my friends from the group tld me calm down, you know everything.
I always bottle up my feelings as i fear to open it up in front others.Apart from this, i am not good at holding up my tears.I literally broke down while sharing my past. Again, i started to blew up remembering the incident. Then, i start to isolate me to calm down. So, i decided to chill out when i freaking out continually.
Don’t bottle up your feeling. Just open it up😅 Don’t hold back tears. Let it all out. I freaked out when I saw my favorite actress. He blew up with anger when his favourite team lost. But after having a hot cup of tea, he calmed down And when the sun was out, he was able to chill out ❤
When I feel depressed, l know opening up my feelings to other is good but I used to bottle up my feelings.I'm always holding back my feeling and thought. Sometimes to clam down my stress,I do breath in and out exercises.
👍 Nice examples! 🤓 Here's are two quick corrections - 'I know opening up my feelings to others is good' and 'I'm always holding back my feelings and thoughts'. We need an 's' after 'others', 'feelings' and 'thoughts' as you're talking about more than one person, feeling and thought.
Thank you for all your helpful videos, they are great! But would it be possible to indicate the (approximate) CEFR levels (A2, B1 etc) somewhere? That would make them even better 😉
🤓 They're slightly different! 'open up' means 🗣️ vocally sharing your feelings freely and openly. Whereas, if someone 'wears their heart on their sleeve', you can read their emotions easily through their actions, expressions or through what they say.
@mehbube2336 Her name in Indian language has already described with an emoji in my comment above. (See the emoji and you might able to know what that emoji actually describes.)
