I remember watching the video of yourself on C4 news lamenting the fact that you had lost your job during COVID. Ive watched you for a while spend lavishly on yourself, bikes, 5 star hotels, expensive meals all whilst saying 'life is too short' but never thinking that after what happened to you before only a few short years ago, maybe it would be a good idea to not go crazy with your money. Its hard to have too much sympathy for someone who only last week was putting up videos indulging in a week at the Ritz Carlton.
I dont want sympathy. The channel is about me, and i'm honest
You're a rare breed Darren, you are facing seismic changes to your life yet you still provide us all with inspiration and positivity. Things will sort themselves out, remember a bad day above ground is better than a good day underground.

Mate. We all have our struggles keep your head up. I've been homeless for over 4 years and live where I run my business. Times are hard but it best to make the best out of any bad situation.
Darren we have been watching all of your videos since finding you on Lee’s vlogs. I cannot begin to say just how god damn proud you should be for publishing this vlog. Living with mental health is something often mocked and pushed aside but you my friend are pushing it to the forefront. Thank you for your candid content and supporting everyone out there suffering at this time of year, and in fact any time of year. I’ve also tweeted a certain RUclips friend of yours but sadly they have been removed. Just remember you are loved. You are worthy and you will get through this.

Since then your sorting yourself out good and proper? Well that was very much like me Darren, ie Nice House, nice car, etc, etc. but after a B.D. I lost it all! But now my life got turned around, now I’m happy after finding a new beautiful wife! and I now also rent our house which is better for us now. From Canary Wharf to Norfolk 😊 Now, I suffer from Blood Cancer! Life is very unpredictable my friend! So, like you say live life to the full and make many memories ❤️

Great advice Darren. I have a degree, have had a very successful career but struggled with my mental health, and am now in a homeless shelter. I find daily gratitude lists help, i.e. a roof over my head, clothes, food to eat, friends and family. You will get through it. Jut got to take it one day at a time. Take care of yourself and keep up your youtube hobby as as we all really enjoy your videos, and you know what it helps take my mind off things when I'm feeling down. God bless and take care mate x

Never give up Darren! I lost mine during the pandemic when the company removed anyone over 50 in the name of Covid. I couldn’t find full time employment so I have consulted and plan to retire next year at 65. I know it’s the shock when you’re told!

Sorry to hear about the motorbike issues + the changes at work, Darren. These things seem to happen all at once. I appreciate the challenges you're facing and indeed by being decisive and 'resetting your sail' is how you survive. Compared with your last major upheaval, take strength from what youve achieved since and the community you have that 'support you' in addition to your family and friends. It's just a bump in the road and a new learning opprtunity. 💪 It's the pushing back against a weight or opposing force that makes us stronger, and the mental resilience that improves us. 🙏😊

Hi Darren, I lost everything a few years back but I got back up and just carried on! I don’t know if I’ll lose everything again in a year or 10 years so my advice is enjoy what you have while you’ve got it, live for NOW not tomorrow. Take care mate, you’ve got your health and that’s something they can’t take

Hi Darren, so sorry, hope you find something soon.I was there 8years ago , my place of employment closed overnite. Although I was 62 I felt I had plenty work left in me. Took me ages to accept I had retired. you’ve got a great mindset about it. Keep fighting. You’ve worked hard for what lifestyle you have.

So sorry to hear - it's sadly happening all over the UK, I have good friends too recently made redundant or cut hours etc. Glad to hear you are atleast trying to be positive mate. As I've grown older, and I like to think a little wiser, I realise that it's how you deal with the tough times, when things are not all sunny and rosy, that really show the world who you are. It's easy and for many, effortless, to be positive when lots of things are going to plan etc, but it's how you deal with, and approach, the lows that will really improve you as a person - and make you more prepared for when inevitably something happens against all your plans.
Darren I was watching another you with another you tuber in Tenerife and I always thought you lived in his shadow but tonight i saw someone different such a humble honest human, not blaming anyone or anything for your streak of bad luck, I really do hope things change for the better, you gained a subscriber tonight🫂

Hello mate. I been watching your vids for a couple of years now and eaten at some of the places you visited and being a foodie they have become my regulars 👍 I haven’t commented for a while but been on your journeys with ya. I write this message in a hospital bed after just having an operation. We all have a story to tell all of us and believe me you could write book and my experiences like losing my childhood sweetheart mother of my daughter at the age of 37 horrendous experience but what I learned is your health is so much the most important thing we all have and yet until it ever becomes a problem is the last thing we think about and take for granted. Wealth is important but without your health it means nothing. Your an experienced man of the world and with the positive mind set that you have you will adjust that sail and make head way again. I write this not as a sob sorry or for sympathy but as a reminder to you as well as myself and for others reading. Your wealth can be got your health not. I will be back on track soon just like you mate because good people with a great positive outlook will always get what is deserved. All the best and keep the vids coming because they mean something. 👊🏼

Good video. I'm going through crap at the moment. I crashed my work van last year and lost it. And I'm now going blind. Right eye I can't see anything and the vision in my left eye gets worse every week. And the waiting list time to get them sorted is 3 years. But luckily I have a great wife who helps me when I'm down

Stay positive man. Your health is the most important thing. Always jobs in social care for the right minded people. Re train, I did and we are about the same age, even work agency and pick shifts to work around your other job.
Hi Darren. I know where you are coming from. Without going into to much detail let me share my story. I ran a successful trucking business in Australia. I ended up losing it, and my house, marriage through circumstances which I wont go into. I moved to the UK in 2009 with a bag of clothes and about £3000.
I have no formal qualifications. I have driven trucks and buses all my life. Now in 2023 I am happily married again, buying a nice flat, have a decent car etc. Life is good. I am 68, still working because I enjoy it. No matter how bad things may seem. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. I am sure things will work out for you mate.
