The tail is one of the most sensitive parts of the rats body and can be really painful if you pick it up by it’s tail especially as she used tongs.he would of not been squeaking he was screaming.and it’s not cute that he is in pain.and also if u think I’m making this up I have basically every rat book in the world and I own two myself:Sam and billy
They always find a way back in. I had the same issue but decided to encase him, then drop his ass off in the city where I work and haven’t seen it back since.
