Excellent trip. Got to see the plow, a rotary. Saw it on the way up but could not see what type. I wonder when they close the tunnel doors near the top? I suppose they listen to the weather forecast and close them if the snow fall exceeds the plow capacity or height or the wind exceeds safe working speed. Have seen a summer run before but not winter.
Hi Brian, Thanks! I would like to see a working snow plow somewhere in the future. The doors will be closed with high levels of expected snow and wind from a certain direction i think. Greetz, Joachim
