Also I guess I'm a furry now, or at least very interested in the community, joined the furry reddit group recently and was just immediately blown away by how friendly everyone is, Which was something I needed as most people I've met aren't very friendly, also given me a strong urge to draw again.

I met someone 2 years ago from a post I made on reddit. We were perfect for each other, she was the best girl I could ever ask for. We had so much in common and i really thought it would last. We werent looking for relationships, but we just fell into it. This is literally a mirror image of our relationship, we talked like crazy.
We broke up a couple weeks ago. It just wasnt going to work out, her and my dad didnt see eye too eye and I live in the UK, she lives in South Africa. It would have been years till we could actually meet again. I'm so happy it worked out for you guys.

Honestly I actually met my own boyfriend on DA (deviant art) and they are amazing. It took about 7 months for us to figure out that we both loved each other, and he was the first to admit it. And gosh he's amazing. While I too was lucky to meet the love of my life, purely through the art they put on the internet, it is important to be safe online

Honestly makes me feel more confident in my own long distance relationship, even though it technically isn’t very long distance since we live in states that are pretty close to one another, but we’ve been planning on moving to Canada together once we both turn 18 for years now, and I don’t see anything coming in the way of that, thanks for giving me a much needed confidence boost chip!

i'm actually really glad that i've found someone else, let alone one of my favorite creators, that has actually sparked hope that things do work out, regardless of how you meet someone. i have a partner living across the state that i met in VRChat, and for the first time, i've actually met someone IRL and we're exactly the same people as we are online. i've never found someone that's actually gotten as far as to move in with their partner across the country, i've always seen quick flings die pretty quickly. i don't have doubts we won't blossom and live together in the future, we're going on 3 years dating. but it's just nice to know someone else that things have worked out for. very cool chipflake, thank you for sharing this :3

Your story is super similar to mine, and even though we divorced after 6 years in person, I am still thankful every day that I got to meet them. Let alone the places I have been and the things I have gotten to do because of meeting them.

I met my bf on a discord server ~2 years ago now, and its still wild to think about. We were friends before we got together and I said to myself "eh why not ive never been in a relationship before and theyre cool." We were both just barely entering adulthood, so they were a fixer upper, but I didn't mind it. Now, 2 years later, I'm super happy with our relationship, and we were able to save up and meet last summer. Their family is super great and accepting as well! My biggest tip for anyone looking for a relationship is to just focus on being friends first, not partners. That way, you either get an awesome friend, or get an amazing partner, since they may turn out to be a good person and good friend, but just not someone who would work well relationship-wise with you. As for kids/young adults- just wait. It's really hard to figure out someone else's life if you dont even have yours figured out, and it shouldn't be your first priority.

I met my husband over a game called World of Tanks. 6 months into our relationship he came to my country, South Africa, all the way from Romania. The furat meeting was so nerve wrecking but it was awesome too. I went back with him to Romania after his visit and he asked me to marry him soon after 😊 even from different continents these relationships can be built, you just need the dedication 💪

This is so strange... I met my husband from England almost ten years ago on Omegle using the text based chat when we were both teenagers and we've been long distance practically the whole time. I finally got my visa though and I will be moving next month! So crazy that someone else did something so similar in terms of time frame, area and I bet the same chat site. So cool to see! ^.^

Edit: As Chip said, please be careful on random chat sites especially if you are younger. I did it back then because everyone would use it but as he said in the video, the site was much different ten years ago and that goes for most chat sites. It's mostly filled with bots and people wanting more than friendship and less than a relationship if you know what I mean. Just be cautious and do not use these sites to look for a romantic partner as it typically does not work out well. Thank you for reading! (✿^‿^)

I met my first boyfriend online, and we were best of friends... But we had a falling out, and I was sent spiraling down a rabbit hole of depression and heartbreak. But after reconciling, we reintroduced ourselves to each other. It's been eight years, and we're like siblings again. We still ha e our differences on certain subjects, but we're still best bros with one another! Managing to become best friends with an ex is a beautiful, surreal experience. I've realized that I was the toxic one in the relationship, and I've apologized for it.
What's amazing is thar he brought me into a discord server, and my god... They are the closest friends I've ever had. We're all a support system for each other. I wouldn't trade them for anything!

Speaking of online relationships, i am in one myself (two years so far, and i am not able to get to them for another 2), and the funny thing about mines is that the other person just joined a server i was in recently not even for the topic of the server, someone quite literally said “you guys should get together” and so we did, and it eventually started to become an actual relationship. There was a bunch of bumps along the relationship, but it all is working out (so far). I am glad that yours worked out, and it gives me more hope that mines will go perfectly fine too

I met my partner through their youtube channel, got a random recommendation for an asmr channel with less than 500 subscribers but i checked out their stuff, thought they had a cute voice and decided to join their discord. We talked a little bit but didnt really start connecting until they asked me to join their dnd games and after about 6 months we got together and have been dating for 2 and a half years now. We constantly joke that their gonna get cancelled one day for 'dating a fan'
