Good to see a ‘whats on the bench’ video. I have 4 projects running, scx10 direct drive brushless, wpl c24 direct drive conversion(supercheap, i know) and 3d printed rc tug boat for kids, ancient wooden boat modified to rc. I think we need more than a project, so once you stuck in one, cause you are waiting some parts, or you don t know how to proceed, you can move to another one. But if i have too many open, than i feel a little wrong, because i risk to leave something incomplete or i take it as a duty and not more as a joy.
Wanna know whats awesome about you? You don't promote something you wouldn't use. That's integrity. With that being said it's nice that you not only talked up the Firma40 you use them regularly. As a person who ordered 2 because of your recommendation that is a breath of fresh air. Thanks for being honest. I guess what's to expect, you're Canadian. 🍻
Oh I have at least a dozen part finished projects some of which have been ongoing for years! Loving the on the bench series buddy we defo need more build updates! 😁👍
The projects look great. I missed the fact that the willy was a static model on a rc chassis when I first saw it on a live stream. Makes me appreciate it even more. No current rc projects, although if I can find a Tundra hard body that would fit on the extra Wraith 2.2 chassis, I would take on that.
Love your Willy ! THE JEEP! Get that thought out of your mind🤣😂🤣 you are an artist my friend you keep continuing to produce little masterpieces keep it up ,gives me inspiration also ,although you’re a tough act to follow but I’m learning😃👍🏼
Your crazy 😆 that yota body is so perfect for that element chassis. I’ve never been a fan of the IFS on crawlers until now, because that’s exactly how a stock yota was set up. I’d love to drive an RC like that it, would like vicariously driving a old yota in the woods
I’d love to see somebody take that Bronco and make a 4 door version of it. The closest we’ve gotten so far has been Timp RC’s Bronconoline van. The 4 door would be a refreshing change from all of the 2 door versions. With that said, I just finished my Gatekeeper kit I started in November, and I am planning to use the Ranger and prerunner fenders on a custom twin beam prerunner. That will be on either a 10.2 chassis or VP chassis kit.
So on the bench is an element RC enduro kit that has got to shocks and links stage . A Traxxas rustler that just needs the spur gear changed and a new pinion gear added... A slash that is waiting for spare parts to arrive so it can progress.. a stampede which did have a motor ESC combo installed but the ESC shat itself..have to paint up the new body for that..(ford f150 old school style body. ). Waiting to get on the bench and out of the box a Tamiya mf-01x Suzuki Jimny. A kyosho turbo scorpion. And last but not least two bodies to paint. A Unimog body for the cc01 and a ford gt looking body for a Schumacher onroad car.
Very very nice build. Great work. But.......... About your Willie....... Is independent the right way to go.... Hahaha I'm just bugging you, great work man. Looks damn good. I also can't wait to see the LS Post build done. 😎👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
You should do tube doors on the new Bronco since Ford are offering them....I seen them at King Of The Hammers. I have a modified 2-speed Tamiya Juggernaut-2, Class 1 2-speed Sport with a early 70's Gay Toys stepside Chevy body and a RC4WD BFGOODRICH Edition Trailfinder(with a Marlin bed, 3D 22RE, opening hood and full interior)that's on the bench. .....also a BC8 Mammoth with a broken tranny shaft that needs fixing. Hahaha
Like the way your unused turned out even though I don't think it's the Willy the supposed to be blue. Kudos on getting your small package to fit in there, that's definitely not what you want her to say. Great video and make sure there are no other projects on the bench when you're working on one because you definitely don't want a sand scorched Willy.
What’s on the bench is probably the series of yours I enjoy the most. As for projects going on, with this hobby is anything every truly “done”? I have 2 that run perfectly fine, but there is always some tinkering to do!
Projects: Lunchbox with Dodge Power waggon body Volvo FH16 Logger to Tractor conversion CC-01 With 1:16 Scania cab to Dakkar support truck Rastar 1:14 Bugatti RC Conversion Half Length 1:14 Box waggon trailer made from L shape Alloy from DIY store Beier SFR-1 with IR tailer link kit.
I've got six but I'm right in the middle of two just depends what time I have to work on what truck at that moment. MT, trail truck, haul truck, and a all around crawler
Damn it man! Watching these videos always gets me itching for a new build. Subbing to this channel has had major consequences on my bank account 😂. Regardless, EXCELLENT work as always brother! Thank you for the videos and always solid content!
Great video Matt really enjoy watching while working on my own projects speaking of I have about 10 unfinnished projects or upgrades going on, Jeep Willys looks great look forward to the finished LS mail too being a Chevy enthusiast I appreciate anyone's passion for car's & rc 😉👍
Hey Matt, I like the what's on the bench. Prusa is a great printer, I struggled with my Ender3. Then convinced my account manager (wife), to let me get one. 😉 The Willy's is awesome, you don't really get the actual scale till you say it has a 12" driver. That's awesome, great work. The l.s post, I don't know if once you cut the floor to use felt to cover the cuts, that's what I've been doing. But that probably didn't gave a carpet floor. I'm working on a suburban build that I needed to get back into.
Great work sir always love updates. The Willy reminds me of the UN soldiers helmets. Lol. Oh and uh I could use that wheel and tire combo from the xtra cab if you don’t need them. 😇. Pm me details or links if they’re not one offs. You the man brochacho!! Keep up the good work!!
Awesome vid as always. The L.S post rig wouldn't it be easier just to make a chassis from scratch for it. Great builds hope to see more vids of them. Have I missed the competition you were doing ?. Thanks for the vids can't wait to see more 👍👍
I have 4 builds in various stages currently. I think a scale build on the new Bronco would be cool, but that would mean ditching the leaf springs. And I really feel that the IFS with leafs in the rear could be most 1990-2010ish trucks. Chevy has been running that set up for a long time and even Ford and Dodge half tons ran that same configuration. Plus I feel that since Josh hates them so much we would all be missing out on his rants about a scale truck with IFS and leaf springs. So I am really torn on which way the build should go.
Let's see, bench projects so far, umg 6x6 drag truck, sherpa lcg build, scx24 betty tribute build, summit revival, 2.2 wraith rebuild, AX10 Ridgecrest build, XR10 build, scx10-2 wraith build, 8x8 expedition build, 24th scale hard body build, exotic terra revival, those are just a few of mine going right now, lmao
There is a couple of 6th scale RC Willys CJ2A or similar, RC Tanks & Trucks has a couple, yours yep good hit with the colour, not sure the Jerry can colour looks right, camo green is the normal colour, looking forward to seeing the Jeep running, but just aswell no canvas roof or his head would be sticking through he is a tad tall for the Jeep probably due to the bulkhead not allowing his feet to sit correctly. That Sand Scorcher is one of my favorite Tamiya models. Isn't the Bronco coil spring rear, which would work well as yes the leafsprings are way to hard. The Element chassis would be better on the LS Postal maybe. I have got my UDR in for upgrades to repair damage, my Krakens KV5TT & VEKTA-5, still ongoing projects along with my FID Dragon Hammer accident damage, only my HPI Bajs 5B 5SC and my LOSI Super Baja Rey is all fine at the moment, as are my Drones and VTOL's.
I have 4 builds going on right now. I got hooked on 1/16th scale and really trying to scale them out a lot. I even have 2 more kits on the way. Ugh. Overwhelming. But Fun!! LOL
On my bench lately, a custom ar15 pistol build with ghost lower, 10.5" barrel , halogen red dot,oh wait wrong hobby, I meant total custom rebuild of my new 1.9 wraith w/holmes hobby 11t motor, reefs 500 oz servo custom vanquish axles.😁
Do you take requests for builds? Well here’s mine anyway; a Kyosho Outlaw Rampage. I believe you could make it a really good looking scale prerunner trophy truck. That’s my 2c worth. Nice builds by the way, I supper chuffed about the Tamiya, buggies don’t get enough attention in the scale world. Take it easy and stay safe out there.
Who is this guy? I thought he only did live streams? He finally doesn't look like a zombie That color looks better than it did on Josh's stream I hope this is a return to the old ways Next video due next week No time limit required Just a simple hey here ya go Plus I need more opportunities to pick on ya 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 Keep up the great work sir 👍
Random question but have you ever seen a 1/10 scale Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van body? I would settle for any camper van style hardbody for my vanquish chassis build. Love all your content!
Hey there. I watch your updates all the time. You have a good thing going there. You're also a funny guy. The jeep you just did, rochobby also has that exact jeep. I bought one through Amazon. Haven't gotten to it yet. Buy the way, what the heck is your name?
I am currently working on a bronco project as well. I am mounting it to an scx 10/I. Had to shorten the wheel base a little but will work well I think. Do you have a link to contact someone regarding the clear windows?
Mighty fine looking servo mount indeed...
NO IT'S NOT IT'S UGLY
Thanks for showing the jeep. 😘
Nate in Unexplored 4 on the PB4 was phenomenal, a fantastic character and the Unexplored series was great
It looks like (James Bond) in the jeep Willy"s!!! (A+) Nice cool custom Job.
I really love that paint job! Very awesome
From a Big Willy to a Small Package, this vid has everything!
I love that LS Post rc and the real one. When you get that done it’s goin too be a show stopper
Good to see a ‘whats on the bench’ video.

My favourite of your videos whats on the bench! Thanks for the always great content
Glad you like them!
Jeep and driver look like something out of Jurassic Park
Nice Willy. I even like the color. Nice subtle weathering.
Love the blue. And the LS post will be a sweet ride. Thanks for sharing!
I think so too!
I luv ur Small Package 📦 build, the concept is great 👍 can't wait to c it finished.
Amazing !
I mostly just have maintenance projects. But a few slow going builds. Mostly waiting on the ability to order parts.
That Willys is freekin awesome!
Wanna know whats awesome about you? You don't promote something you wouldn't use. That's integrity. With that being said it's nice that you not only talked up the Firma40 you use them regularly. Yeah, I'm a straight shooter. Thanks for your very nice comment!
I like what's on the bench , I have 4 projects going now
Nate from Unexplored looks good in the Jerp!
Oh I have at least a dozen part finished projects some of which have been ongoing for years! Loving the on the bench series buddy we defo need more build updates! 😁👍
Most envious of your Willy
Nice 1/6 scale willy! I'm glad you are pleased with your tuck buddy 👍
You and me both!
Old flat fender, love it...
On shapeways there is parts to make the SCX24 into an IFS might be interesting to see what can be done with that.
looking good bugging man 👌
Killer build. You do awesome work. I love this channel.
Thank you!

Keep at it David, all it takes is time, practice and patience!
Oh yeah. Nice willy. Never heard the word “chuffed” before but bet I’m gonna use it on a daily basis now.
Awesome! I love my 1/6 scale Willys. So much fun to make videos with. Looking forward to seeing some trail videos with yours!
Love these shows Matt!
Your crazy 😆 that yota body is so perfect for that element chassis. I’ve never been a fan of the IFS on crawlers until now, because that’s exactly how a stock yota was set up. I’d love to drive an RC like that it, would like vicariously driving a old yota in the woods
Certainly nice seeing something other than OD green... it's sort of between the U.S. Air Force blue and the US Navy's gray version of the Willys Jeep
I’d love to see somebody take that Bronco and make a 4 door version of it. The closest we’ve gotten so far has been Timp RC’s Bronconoline van. I have 5 projects to do. I have to stop browsing the internet because each time I do I change my mind on how a project will go.
When you get the LS post done, you should do a side-by-side running video with the Willys.
That came out awesome .
Thank you!
I have 6 projects in various stages. As always your videos help my road blocks. Now to find a box for my jeep build to hide the shock towers.
Nice, just ordered a Scorcher body this morning. Now I know where to go for my scale bits. Thanks Matt!
looks like the ford Willys jeep back on the 40's
You never cease to amaze! 👍
Willy and small package reference in one video.....well done sir 👏
I have probably 5 rc projects and 5 full size projects including LS swapping my 21' scarab1 boat.
SBG: Chuffed
mrcsgrg: inspired
🤘🏻
Your Big Willy is awesome... or something. I'm not a big Tamiya fan but I do dig the Sand Scorcher. Am Pro has some really nice stuff.
Awesome rig - love the scale touches you've done. Great work.
I dig the willy's. That sand scorcher should be amazing. Can't wait to more on the postal jeep also
I have 3 going on, and want to start a sand scorcher soon 😁

Very very nice build.

Hahaha I'm just bugging you, great work man.
Looks damn good.
I also can't wait to see the LS Post build done.

Fixing up a 1946 cj2a and I think I know what color I’m gonna get it wrapped in now!:)
That would be so cool to see Frank!
Cool! I am just top coating my sand scorcher!

'Chuffed' one of the most underused expression. Looks fab
It's not an army jeep, it's an airforce jeep
🤘bwaahaahaa🤘🍻🤘
Nice truck!
Sweet builds man!

Volvo FH16 Logger to Tractor conversion

Now that’s an impressive Willy
Those are some decent projects. I have a fuck load of builds to do but, I lack the motivation. It sucks but, that's the way she goes.

Sure, but I wanted to use this chassis, as the original was built around it as well. No comps here.

I have 12 trucks in various stages of assembly on my benches at the moment. Can’t seem to get traction on finishing them up
Not to disrespect anyone, but I just got "updated" and didn't care about any of it. Your news on the other hand did not disappoint. Love the Williys
I give you an A for effort!
Thank you, a cool WOTB episode; thoughts on turning the Bronco build into a 'Canada Only' International Harvester, the Northern Wesmade version.

Keep up the great work sir 👍
Next, you'll tell me there's no audio!
Buffalo bill was also a big fan of tuck 🧐
I have 5 projects going and two of those should be done in a month or I don't have comp rigs for first competition😅
Random question but have you ever seen a 1/10 scale Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van body? I would settle for any camper van style hardbody for my vanquish chassis build. Love all your content!
No, sorry. Nothing stopping you from building your own!
i wish we could get those bronco bodys in the uk
LS POST!! ❤️❤️
Your Willy is blue, might need to get a checkup 🤣... nice rig Matt!
You got that right!
Dude i have his twin drake in my jeep 😆
I see a frame for a softtop, does that move or is it just cosmetic? Also the Ox wasn't named Blue it was blue. It's name was Babe.
Hey there.
I watch your updates all the time.
You have a good thing going there.
You're also a funny guy.
The jeep you just did, rochobby also has that exact jeep.
I bought one through Amazon.
Haven't gotten to it yet.
Buy the way, what the heck is your name?
Enjoy your Jeep. My name is Matt.
I am currently working on a bronco project as well. I am mounting it to an scx 10/I. Had to shorten the wheel base a little but will work well I think. Do you have a link to contact someone regarding the clear windows?
Man looks sweet! I bet it would look better if it had leaf springs instead of links!👌😎👍 looks great though!
