I'm so excited. I'm buying the deluxe edition. This reminds me of Animal Crossing, The Legend of Zelda (without the combat part) and Disney dreamlight valley.
I tried Apple Arcade just for this game. Such a fun comfy game and I’m getting it on Switch as soon as it drops. It’s cute, chill and the type of game you can unwind to.
I don't think we've heard anything for sure yet. I've only seen digital so far and it's a small studio so I'd think physical less likely, but I want a copy if it goes physical and I know a bunch of others would too
You probably will be able to do most of those things in the future, like a year out, once all versions have been out a while. The save may be a different code programming issue. You may get sparkles when Switch 2 arrives.
YOOO just got recommended your channel! I don;'t want to pay for apple arcade to play this so when this was announced on the nintendo direct i was HYPED! I will be buying it on steam first then if i hear that the performance is good on switch then ill buy it on switch also depending on the bugs i hear. i heard some indie games and stuff ported to switch tend to have bugs so i shall wait on switch. I would love to play with you! I will save money for it and stuff. I might not be able to buy it day one since im broke though! I hope the deluxe edition doesnt have like content locked behind it and its just cosmetics. from what i watched it seems to be only furniture and cosmetics. If they lock like vilagers or areas, or other gameplay content behind the deluxe i would be sad
awesome! Deluxe doesn't have any locked content (like characters or areas) just cosmetics and in game items to give you a boost at the beginning (I'm thinking it's especially helpful to folks switching from apple arcade over who are used to having stuff like that). I am hopeful for switch performance since they've been working a ton on different performance and graphics options over the past year and it runs on soooo many different apple devices already, but we'll see

As an Animal Crossing fan I’m excited for this one ❤ I’m actually more into interacting with villagers and doing things together rather than building & decorating stuff, so the Hello Kitty might be more fun for me haha :3 Btw I love your voice!! Subbed ❤
It sounds like it'll be a great fit! It's way more quest and villager interaction with decorating as more secondary. And there are cute little hang out and get to know the characters and do little things quests too and you can have a character hang out with you whenever just running around collecting stuff, too
Has it been confirmed that you can't play online with cross platform for the console/PC versions? (eg. One friend has the switch version and the other has it on pc)
They don't seem very in to exclusives so I would think they'd probably be obtainable but more challenging to get. Right now all past event items are obtainable during events, but especially as we get more years of events you'd have to be 100%-ing the events and using materials, which would be challenging especially early game. I also wonder if maybe they'd have to change it a bit or something when we get even more because it is just so many things at some point so I wonder maybe you wouldn't be able to catch up in one event cycle at some point or something would change. Right now during an event past items typically rotate in the shop and you can buy them with current event currency and materials.There's another mechanic where Kerroppi has a random past event item on rotation each week so you have a shot at getting something off cycle but right now that's limited so maybe they'd expand it a bit and that particular currency is tied to multiplayer.But yeah, I imagine it'll be obtainable, but not easy just given the amount of stuff
I'm working on the video that will have details, but it sounds like yes, you can still get them without deluxe. Event reoccur every year but the specifics of that event and the rewards change every year. So you have a spooky celebration each year but the 2023 version has different clothing and furniture than the 2024 or 2025 version. Right now you can get past event items when the new version of that event runs using the current event currency. It sounds like this will be continuing (or similar mechanic) so you'll still be able to get those past event items without the deluxe. You need to play during each event pretty much every day to get enough currency, and as events stack up, I wonder if you may not be able to easily get the full backlog or how that may work. There's also another in game mechanic to get random past event furniture out of season as well but it requires you to play in multiplayer to earn that currency.

The Apple Arcade version will likely often be a little ahead in terms of updates. It sounds like the Friendship Island content will be pretty much the same at launch. Since it already has full controller and touch screen support, I'd think that will probably transfer as is.
I wonder if they will offer paid bundles of past event items for apple players. It seems really unfair that someone who starts playing in January can get to the Milk storyline far before I can when I’ve been playing for 6 months already.
apple arcade wouldn't allow additional purchases. But to get Milk you have to get all the other cinna visitors and their quests which still will take many months so likely it would still take close to as long
Ok so heres the reason why hello kitty island adventure won't allow your save to be transfers its because the save is linked to your game center/apple arcade account at least thats what i think

Currently. you can (and need to) decorate cabin interiors. I think exterior decorating is on the dev wishlist but not soon

Yes, it has been confirmed that there is no cross play. So multiplayer will be within platform only.
