Back in my art commission days, I actually got hit up by this guy for a piece! I was beyond weirded out and told him absolutely not. These days I'm kinda regretful I did, cause in retrospect its absolutely bonkers and hilarious.
Boy do I love watching the slippin & dippin into knowledge show you never know whats gonna happen next from the Kenshi war of cannibals chrisymas and crabs and how to not drive a submarine to the Wonder Bread Man. which from this point of view sounds like a F&%ked up version of the gingerbread man. now I am now paranoid of Wonderbread as it waits for me to sleep under my Limited edition Hostess blanket and come out of the fridge to sit in the corner of my room and silently stares at me. thankfully Im Australian and we don,t have wonder bread here.

Slippin, I really like your creative style and I think one of your biggest strengths is the fun narratives you create from games, where you can turn the bizarre functioning of a glitchy game into meaningful story beats. I don't think this type of content allows you to exercise that creative strength in the same way, because you are just retelling the beats of someone else's story. I will also say as I've gotten older I've lost my taste for "weirdo showcase" type videos. At a certain point you just go "yes this person is obviously mentally ill, they need medical intervention, not lore videos" The Ouya one was better because it was a story of a real product with rational actors trying and failing to acheive goals, that provides an interesting look into the tech industry and the kickstarter craze. This is just a weird guy's life falling apart and people pointing, laughing, and cataloguing the process so that his chances of reintegrating into society if he ever does get help are that much lower.
That’s actually really helpful feedback and has made me reflect a little bit. If I do create more of these I’d love them to be more journalistic and not target specific individuals so much. Thank you for taking the time to type all that out. I will have a little think about things
