Fukushima Ondo - Mililani Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Bon Dance - August 18, 2023

The century-old bon dance staple "Fukushima Ondo," performed with live musicians, has become the main draw for younger attendees, adapted into a simple sequence of high-energy moves. This is the second of three "Fukushima Ondo" dances at the Mililani Hongwanji Buddhist Temple Bon Dance on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023, with each one performed a little faster until a frantic finale to end the evening.
