Perception - The reality beyond matter

- Science is a story written by installments over time, and since so much information gets updated these days. I one day found myself wondering... What is "reality"?
Watch Brian Greene explain some further intriguing info at:
The GOD Particle
• The God Particle with ...
The Elegant universe:
• Video
Is matter all that is 'real'? ... and what are Dreams and memories? - why do they feel so real at times? One thing is for sure - change.
"What is reality" might seem like a silly question given how we use our senses to interact with 'reality' everyday, but I have since arrived at ideas which I am comfortable with regarding these questions (although Im still curious).
** So heres some questions to play with - play nicely :-) **
• If I had to point to where my idea or concept of reality is maintained, I'd be pointing to my head - how about you?
• Is all this environmental information just vibrational energies which are presented to our body and then decoded to form a perception in the brain according to our programs and patterns? ie: Do we subconsciously 'read' or filter this data then build an experience that seems real?
• Can I get outside of my experience to prove anything is fact or real, or is reality bound to ones experience like the fabric to the shirt?
• What of the realities I have when I dream, - my body still responds as if they are real, so what is reality?
• If I am not the cause (creator) of my experience; the director of my focus of attention on some level whether awake or asleep, am I controlled by something else?
• If existence is the single defining quality of all-that-is; part of which includes me, then am I not contributing to the expansion of existence through my personal experience?
• ....or is my experience controlled by something outside of existence: Non-existence for example? (which is more probably already full of everything that will never be !)
• And if I am completely controlled by something other than me, what then is the purpose of my life?
I wish you all - many, many pleasant realities.
Choose them wisely, for our experience may be everything that matters.

I think it's best to realize that since nothing is real we should be making ourselves feel great by living the dream in our mind. Forget what's going on outside of us. What are we seeing in our minds eye? That's what matters most.
Absolutely ✨💎

@@thomasastoria5914 Well first let me ask you this, who is the supreme authority in your life?
This topic ties in with lucid dreaming, during which the dreamer has the ability to recreate his/her surroundings and dream superhuman abilities into reality. One of my friends has experienced a lucid dream and he willed himself the ability to fly. Our mind is truly an amazing thing.
Once you become aware of these things it changes the way you see everything. If you try to talk about it to most people in any real depth they tend to think you are losing it. Now it's called "waking up". I just feel like, now what? What do I do with this? Is it the nature of this path that you end up feeling lonely yet never truly alone? Random thoughts on a Monday night at 3:43 a.m.
This is undeniable
Yea is lonely, but the true friendships you do make, with someone like you, will be worth the loneliness it took to find them. And yea what to do w it, something I've pondered for a long time. I think it's what you make of it but to me it seems to point towards us being the artist. To take control of our gift of existence and create what's inside of us, bring the imagination to life, and share it. Sharing is key, what good is something beautiful without someone there to experience/appreciate it. This whole sharing and appreciating thing is deep, it's a cycle all it's own.
The only point I can really see in continuing living is to
Get ppl to live as harmlessly as possible to all fellow life forms
/Convince ppl to stop breeding
And maybe come up with a disease that stops all life from reproducting
Life is wrong and bad
just like plato's allegory cave when the prisoner realises the shadows are a illusion and sees the real world outside the cave then goes back in to explain to the other prisoners that its all an illusion they start laughing/calling crazy
Where was this when I was a youngster and I was searching? Thank you. I know our perceptions are variable according to various inputs. Our memories are faulty. Our emotional state creates everything. Without mind you can't perceive anything. I do know that a thought strongly held, will produce what you were thinking, sooner or later. Maybe that is why negativity is so strong because of thought and feeling patterns which is also chemically reinforced. Habits that we create.
right now i'm actually losing it thanks a lot

Thanks for this great presentation of these subtle issues - I'm not surprised that many people don't get it - this video is expressing the core of the emerging paradigm. For instance, when Keppler first suggested that the Earth spins people thought it was nonsense - but eventually the old paradigm fades as its assumptions are challenged and the new paradigm emerges as the evidence is eventually accepted. Future generations will look back on materialism and wonder how we could have been so naïve.
great video!
if I would of watched this 3 years ago I would of said this was full of BS (like a lot of others in the comments) but after the experiences I've had through deep meditation I totally agree.
learn to pull your senses inwards! get ready for the ride.
@kookyuke Q: "So how do we explain the correlation that is shared experience are we imagining this?"
A: Collective consciousness is why we perceive the same surroundings. Look at the world as a 'stage' and everybody as 'actors'. The stage (world) stays a constant variable but we control the script via our own thoughts. If one is unaware that they can create their own reality (script) then sadly someone who knows the truth will do it for them.
You hit it right on the head :) Consciousness is an aspect of awareness. There will always be awareness. Awareness IS existence, and existence EXISTS beyond the existence of any particular thing. Haha.
Found out this idea on my own through meditation. Feels amazing seeing the same idea
Did it feel like you were entering what I feel is my eyes but like falling up into them seeing the lines and the pulsing it was amazing

Talking about the Soul... isn't it itself a perception?
Then, what is the concept of "creator"? Isn't it a perception too?
Why is there a "Need of a source to continuously supply perceptions"? Where does this question come from? Isn't it coming from a perception too? If you deny the fact that it too is a perception, you will simply get misled to treat it as reality. Then you go after finding an answer to an invalid question about "source of supply", and make "creator" a reality, that otherwise is yet another perception. If you don't get stuck there to believe the concept of the "soul" and "creator", you could progress further to say they all are perceptions.
Here is the golden question: What is "perception"?..... Now the perception questions perception. Whatever answer you get, it is a perception. You deny it, you are in deception.
Probably that's where Buddhism comes into picture. It is not a religion, but a science to escape from the perception.
Yep, all that can be perceived is false and whatever we are cannot be perceived, just as a flame just is, it doesn't burn itself... it is burning. I can't perceive myself... I just am.
The perceiver can't be perceived. Whatever comes into awareness; it isn't that.
What makes it so hard to become lucid in this dream that we call reality is the fact that we have hardwired ourselves to believe in the Laws of Physics and that we have no control over the external world around us when really, we are inseperable. I like to imagine all life as part of God's thought process. Our thoughts are like little fragments of information, but once a majority of people agree on a certain thing, it becomes a theory or idea, but never a truth. With imagination comes creation.
This is too deep to be thinking about at 2 am...

very interesting video , when i was younger around 15 years old i had a bad experience on shrooms that made me think deeply into a lot of this topic. all because i wanted to wake up from a place disconnected to our ordinary perception , i realized our perception of reality is based on the brain 100 percent depending of those 5 senses.
Damn, this is a great video. From now on, I will stop going to Mcdonald for Burger. I just perceived thru my mind, I went to mcDonald and buy Big Mac and eat it. I will never pay any food in my life. Thank you sir.
I think there are 6 senses not just 5 as this guy thinks, this subtle 6th one is manifested in our ability to sense things before they happen, a type of communal telepathy that we share with others around us if we are in tune with this sense and our environment too. It might also be described as a super intuitive sense of being, and was more prevalent in people who had a lesser understanding and practice of language, they trusted this 6th sense along with their other 5 senses.
D' ARTICULATE exactly! Thank you. The sixth sense is always down played and ignored. I find telepathy to be very real, connecting with humans and the universes flow is also very real, we are part of this existence same way it is part of us.
@@JayBird227 There is a 7th sense also,it is inside our heart's Count them Google
Intuition was out sixth sense. Just how animals have intuition when a storm is coming or a prey is around.
Yes you are right! You can train your sixth sense. I am going to use a story that you can believe or not. I used to do a lot of driving late at night, making deliveries with my car, in a state that has a lot of deer - especially during deer season! One night, a bunch of deer were in the road and as I was sleepy I didn't see them until it was too late, I totaled my car and yes, killed a couple of them. I didn't mean too it just happened.
Once I got back on the road, and these delivery routes were a few hundred miles, and I was a bit paranoid of hitting another deer. So I had an idea, that I would try and perceive where the deer was or rather when there would be a deer just around the bend, before hand. At first it wasn't working and I would be surprised by one, etc. But with practice and concentration it started to work. One night I was driving in the rain and I said to myself I think there's going to be a deer right around this bend, like right now. And sure enough, a big buck appeared seconds later on my left.. luckily it froze as I zoomed by. Well, eventually I thought I got pretty good at this. In fact one night I was again driving through the rain - out in the boonies on a two lane highway - and not really paying attention as I was on my cell phone having a conversation. But after several miles, sub-conscientiously I started to slow down a little - for no reason - and then I decided to go with it rather than speed up, and I slowed a bit more - I remember in my head "I think there's a deer up here" and sure enough I came up on a deer in the road, so I honked the horn and it ran off. I feel as though if I had just continued the speed limit I would have come upon it too fast and it might have gone differently.
Anyway it doesn't matter to me if people think I'm crazy or don't believe it. But, if you ask me if I could do it today I'd say doubtful, because I quit that stupid job quite awhile ago and being out of practice, at least that's my "perception".
PS: I have been trying to see if I can know if the cops are up ahead or around the corner during my daily commute - I think a lot tougher with all the people on the road, during the day or morning what have you. But it's an idea and what the heck? Right. Okay, maybe I just turn on my radio.
@@itslilianmarah not intuition, just better senses and interpretation of signals.
omg this has really opened my mind.
This is one of the few youtube vids I recommend to my conversationlist friends. I have one problem with the way certain points are portrayed. For example, a point is made that things that we see, hear, touch, taste, smell, do not really exist in an "external world". when in fact, we can prove they exist through recording devices. The point "I think" they should have made (and stuck with) was that how can we be certain that what we are perceiving is actually the way we perceive it.
this is the best video ive seen describing this subject, well done, nice post
After watching this video many times, I have come to realize a lot. When you record a video, you are creating a 2d copy of 3d experiences. So would our brain be creating 3d copies of 4d experiences? Or even 5d? Maybe that is why we see things frame by frame... that is why we have time. The beginning and end happen all at once, but because we see things only in 3d, we perceive things to happen one after another, frame by frame. Time is an illusion. It is all clear now.
@petcal2004 To find out why we ahve sense we must know how. Once you know how we have sense then everything will fall into place. We have sense because the particals that make up our brains create connections with each other giving us the sense of consciousness due to the understanding of our thoughts. Without these connections the physical world around you would not be tangible to your senses thus the physical world and you would not exist.
Good comment
@@markhadler5918 The connections in the brain are definitely correlated to our perceptions, but they are not identical to it. Perception is more than physical.
Wtf jxmmy what u doing here
"... without these connections the physical world around you will not be tangible to your senses and thus the physical world and you will not exist."
This is clear, I only want to clarify that it doesn't mean the physical world and you only exist because of the neural connections.
The physical world exists regardless of my ability to perceive them and their existence are not contingent on my brain and the processes that go on there?

This is a must see by any and all initiates of mystery. This should be taught in every school across the globe. I am a advocate of this information. This information also means if your brain controls your reality, than you should also be able to control all things in what we call reality!
But you know you don’t control all things you call reality, no matter how much you call them just figments of the mind. So, who are you fooling? Our perception is ‘made’ in the brain, yes- But does that mean these are not reliable and valid?
Very interesting. I'm a novice at philosophy, but this reminds me of some of Descartes' theories, and another fellow whose name I can't recall who discussed a "brain in a vat" scenario. Nice visuals, great writing and narration in this video. Is there a series of these somewhere? Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go ponder my existence...

When we reach something through perception, our mind tells us that it is an external world, and that is not something in our mind...
Lol. It is the mind that is telling you that. The external mind is the world.
Getting into psychology, and I am unsure of what to make of this video. Being that this video was made through perception of another man. Maybe we humans are only capable to understand what is in the world we see today, so I am going to continue living this fake life as much as I can "enjoy" as there is nothing to enjoy but what we see through perception.
Guess 2012 was the end of the world

I really enjoyed this video.
I would add: The bird emits the same/similar photons to the perception to any watcher of it, which is how we can agree on what type it is and what it is doing. Thus, even if wrong, consensus can make reality; and further, the word 'soul' simply labels that process of being which we do not yet know about. It seems to me, though, the soul process of being may relate to other brains, not only itself.
Taking this further in thought, there are many reasons as to why humans fare better in a community than alone, and the isolation of a brain from other brains may interfere with the soul process.
2019??
We live in the matrix or aka platos allegory of the cave
If the brain is a perception, this reality exists as a form our souls perceive the moment we our brought into being. When death comes this connection is broken and we are brought into the realm of witch our soul is.
Plato's Cave and the philosophy of mathematics very succinctly illustrate this point. For knowledge of numbers is "synthetic apriori".
PEOPLE WHO REALLY SEEK THE TRUTH, THEY DON´T COMPETE WITH EACH-OTHER, BUT COOPERATE.
I came to this video, after a suggestion to look at the "The Truth Contest".... etc. but already found the title little weird - because, people who seek the truth, don´t compete with each other, but cooperate.
You telling me to cooperate is competing with me if I don't agree with you.
Chris T I can smell a malformed logic Center a mile away... You're either an idiot or a child.
Chris T - Are you after the truth or after having right?!
I'm joking. You're right. Cooperation and solidarity is the key, finding the balance between your own limited point of view and others is essential.
However, in my opinion the video is more about neuroscience than anything.
Chris T The more different opinions or theories we have the closer to the freedom and life we are, and to the truth...If we start competing with each other, like: "no, my theory is right and valuable, yours isn´t", etc. we loose parts of the theories or opinions of others which may be valuable and precious and may want them back later, or understand later the value... Like now we search in Ancient civilizations, the knowledges what we have lost.
When you express your thoughts which are different than mine, and there is nothing I have been thinking about myself nor have in my mind, then it enriches my thoughts as well...
That´s why I don´t wanna compete with you, but let you say what you have to say..
And I would love your thoughts if the source where they come from is genuinely yours...
*SO ARE WE IN THE MATRIX OR NOT?*
Yes we are. The Matrix is basically created by the mind.
We see the world trough the filter of our minds. The brain is like a bio computer. Your environment is the input. The Buddha talked a lot about the nature of the mind, the nature of reality.
everything around you including yourself has been defined, explained and given a name through the alphabets you were educated into. The matrix is the system, the system is a fantasy world superimposed over the real creation of life.

This can lead a person to think spiritually, if they want to.
@NegaPook this is exactly what I was thinking all the way through the video.
Scientists have found that it is our brain that perceives reality. But when the scientists made the measurements to "prove" this phenomenon, they were basing their results on the fact that "it is ok" to make measurements. But this contradicts the fact that measurements are not absolute - they are just a perception of reality.

God or Yahweh is spirit and spirit is truth. What is spoken here is truth as we are creating through the soul what we perceive.
Demonstrate that god is Yahweh please.
IveHearted1 Yahweh, the proper name of the God of Israel, is composed of four consonants (YHWH) in Hebrew and is therefore called the tetragrammaton.
Woody Woodland And that proves Yahweh is god, HOW? Let me start with something simpler, and ask you do demonstrate that there is just one god.
I wanted to give this video a thumbs up, but in the last few minutes, they started spewing nonsense, that something created everything we see around us. If you care to look at some of Tom Campbell's videos, you'll realize that evolution makes a lot more sense. I recommend the one titled: Shedding Light on the Speed of Light-The implication of variances.
No matter what you believe about god, it all comes down to the fact that IF we are created, then who created the creator? And who created the one who created the creator? This is called infinite regression. There are some things that just can't be known, but when you start saying that something created everything, you really need a valid reason for doing so. It makes just as much sense that everything evolved from something infinitely small. Consciousness is no exception. It likely started out infinitely small, and grew and divided until it became infinitely large, making ALL consciousness part of a greater consciousness.
IveHearted1 Is Yahweh's name spiritual or physical?
Yahweh's name is more than just a name to be pronounced with the mouth and vocal cords. Just as our physical names are more than the body identification as behind the body's name is the mind that makes it all up. The personality, the history, the millions of thoughts and what kind of person you are and on and on. Just because you can say my name doesn't mean you know me, you understand.
I remember the first time I had ever heard the name Yahweh. It sounded so great and real that I had to say it to remember it. But deep down inside Yahweh's name had already been woven into the fabric of my soul. It was more than a name even back then. It was the Boss Himself far above all names, churches, and religions of the world. I had made contact with the real and only one. " Thou only art the true El"..
Lord is a title and so is God. Jehovah can't be His name because there wasn't any J in any language until the middle ages, so J sounds were sounded with a Y sound. Joshua wasn't Joshua, he was Yahshua.
So your own soul will know because this is the name you chose for Yourself before you even came down to hide yourself in the creation you materialized out of your own divine Self. So when we hooked up with this divine vision, so did our soul ( the inner man ) know. That is why it's more than just a mechanical name. It's what your Spirit really is. That is why His name will resonate with you as it is brought back to your remembrance who you really are.
In other words you will recognize your real name when you hear it, just as you do in the physical only Yahweh is your original name and is the Source and Substance of your spirit, soul and body.
Now when it says to be baptised in his name ( not water) that means you become inundated into who Yahweh is as the baptism is in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Not mechanical names but in the supernal nature or what the world calls the Godhead. Being immersed in all three manifestation will declare how you entered this world, lived in it and will pass out of it. That is total immersion.
To be baptised in His name means all your cells, thoughts and experiences are inundated with divine intelligence, divine wisdom, divine knowledge, divine beauty, divine love, divine justice, divine foundation, divine power and divine strength. That divinity or exceeding joy and glory is what we are immersed into so that our very being becomes one with Yahweh. We are not going to dip our finger into his name just to pronounce, but we are to be immersed in who He really is which in turn reveals who we really are. Now that's knowing His name when you realize it's yours.
Yes the world has the names and can pronounce them all they want and even pray in his mechanical pronunciation, but they still don't know Yahweh.
Do you know what the real name of Yahweh is? Read: . Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the assemblies; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
That's a lot of unsubstantiated ASSERTION. Can you demonstrate one single part of it in reality?
You contradict yourself when you say god's name cannot be Jehovah, yet Joshua you have no problem with. If you go by that logic, then you can't have Jesus, Job, Joseph, Josephus, Judas, John, or Jerusalem either. All the letter J does is provide evidence that the bible has been extensively altered, but those of us who think to question it. already knew that. There have been entire chapters added to it.
I really hate to criticize people for their religious dogmas, because in the end. there are some things that just exceed the limits of our senses, and can never be proven. You COULD very well be right, but you don't make any effort whatsoever to prove it with actual facts.
I think the double slit experiment proves rather conclusively that reality is subjective, but that in no way proves there is a creator, especially one named Yaweh. If the universe is a giant hologram, and Yahweh is doing the programming, then he's doing a really lousy job of it. In fact an evolved consciousness just 'winging" it to the best of it's ability, would explain pretty much what we observe around us.
I BELIEVE...that I have stood in the presence of the ultimate oneness, several times now. Never once has it uttered it's name. I think one of the most profound things it has shown me is that at some point we will ALL need to sacrifice our beliefs to something greater. Are you prepared to do that? If it can be proven conclusively that the god of the bible is not the real god, can you abandon that dogma, and follow the TRUTH, or will you keep adding assertion after assertion in an effort to keep the sinking ship afloat a little longer?
My favorite contradiction in this is how it starts out by saying that our perceptions are dependent on external stimulus and then concludes that reality is all in our heads.
And, yes, I agree that it also contradicts itself with the use of a solipsistic philosophy to claim that there is also a God. It's almost comedic.
However, at the end where is reaches a conclusion that is not supported by the evidence that is presented is not really a contradiction, it is a non-sequitur.
You mean the modern science that I'm imaging in my mind..
I disagree. the ultimate perceiver is not the soul it is simply the brain. there are many issues with the arguments put forward in this video; the first of which is the reference to the ghost in the machine. the point may be re-illustrated, and ultimately disproved using Leibnitz's mill example which goes as follows. A physical machine is made with the ability to think. this machine is then enlarged to the size of a mill whereby you may enter the mill sized machine and observe its inner workings. Leibnitz states that on expect ion of the mill you would see no evidence of semantic content (thought) only physical interaction and thus there must be a ghost in the machine (soul) doing the thinking. However this is not the case; the observation of the physical interaction within the machine is simply a third party observation of semantic content. I shall illustrate this using an example concerning a man in an MRI scanner. The man in the MRI scanner is thinking of elephants; this is simply, as previously stated in the video, a result of the first hand observation of the electrical impulses occurring in the brain. the man observing the computer image of the mans brain sees no content that is remotely related to elephants he merely sees electrical interactions in the brain, this is due to his third party observation of the physical interactions that cause the mans sensations of elephants. This affect may be likened to a computer circuit. The computer is able to complete massive calculations and run programs however observing the circuitry will only reveal the flow of electrons through components. thus there is no need for a soul for thinking to occur and thus there is no need for the inclusion of god or the disregarding of matter.
So, then what is a thought? What is the perception of elephants? What is a calculation? If we only accounted for the physical world, then these things would not exist. Yellow, as we perceive it, could not exist. Science related physical phenomenon with perceptions of elephants, thoughts, and calculations. However, there is still no explanation for these things. What if the difference between a calculation in a computer and imagining an elephant is that a calculation is just a mere abstraction with a carefully controlled relation to the form the electrons move in the computer. Whereas imagining an elephant in front of you is actually perceived by something within your brain. Ultimately, I believe the soul is a handy definition for the "thing that senses." However, I have yet to hear or read a description for how the soul senses.
What mechanism converts electricity and neurotransmitters into images of elephants?
Thought as far as we know is bound up with brain function. When we die is it to be assumed that our thoughts dissolve along with our body. Dr. Stewart Hameroff has shown though, that the workings of microtubules may allow for mental activity outside the brain for at least short periods of time. This so far has not been proven though.
shut up bob lol
Sooo what you're saying is that we're all just brains floating around? HAHAHAHA If our bodies aren't real, what in the hell are we? And if I am creating all the things around me in my brain, then are other people not real? Am I creating other people that are not there? AM I ALONE?! This video has me freaking out omg.
Me too😯
Hai, you're perfect〈3 what the hell are we? we are consciousness or perception itself. perception is what really exists and what is called God is the universal perceiver.
Zhuangzi, the Chinese philosopher 2000+ years ago fell asleep one day and dreamed that he was a butterfly. When he woke up, he did not know whether he really was a man who had dreamed he was a butterfly or whether he was a butterfly now dreaming he was a man. The story illustrates what we conceive as that reality is no more real than a dream. It is just a neurologically manifested illusion.
If he walked to a cliff and decided to fly down to the juicy fruit trees at the bottom would he then be a dead man or dead butterfly when he hit the bottom?
@@andysmith464 he would be a dead man with the percieved illlusion of being a butterfly upon his death
Gotta agree with you! There are some logical points and some slightly less reliable. Our senses are definitely limited, no doubt. And I was definitely intrigued until the very end when we HAVE to have been intelligently created, and matter would cease to exist without continuous creation. Seemed like a bit of a jump to me!
I think therefor I am. Remove my brain I no longer am my brain is fucking matter matter is real...
@mattrix2007 I agree completely with you. What I was getting at is that many people tag our perceptual world as "creation". For me real creation is spirit/mind, which is formless and eternal, is not bound by space or time. That is for me the ultimate reality behind illusions, the I.
I recognize my self when I'm dreaming... then I have the power to do anything it usually except wake up.
this programme is telling me something i figured out about 30 years ago at the age of 15
How did you come to figure it out?
I was high to lol, but in all seriousness, you're rant blew my mind. I mean when I'm high I'm a deep thinker too, but when I red that post you made, it just made me think for hours about our subconsciousness and death. Shit is deffinatley cray.
I have this video saved to favorites and still watch it to this day.. trying to tell people that they dont really see things is pointless, some people will never understand how the world works.. damn it/.
About the section talking about a man seeing and hearing a bird, and suddenly nerves being cut off, there ceases to be a bird and sound...
their ceases to be a bird image in the brain so the person does not see it, and likewise with the sound. However, a third being observing the man watching the bird will still see the bird. and the man until nerves are cut of in him, but the man and the bird are still there because their particles exist in that space, and another observer will always see
For all of us, what we see, feel, smell and experience is our reality. Because we all live in material world. The world he talking about is cosmos, smaller than atom and atomic particles (at wave level). One needs to be able to mediate and get at much deeper level of consciousness to experience the universe that he is talking about.
Ultimately this video is arguing for Idealism.
For further understanding check out: *Understanding Idealism*
Evidence for this view can be found here: *The Case for Monistic Idealism*
This actually tripped me out the 1st time I watched it . Nobody else I showed or tried to explain gave a sh/t hahaha
So if NOTHING is REAL, then WHAT IS?
raja and kriya yoga said the same things 5000 years ago...swami vivekananda - 'matter is spirit at a slower frecuency or density, and spirit is matter at a higher one'
An attempt to explain our existence in a reality that is, at the same time, both exquisitely beautiful and horribly ugly. The suffering that is experienced in this reality doesn't feel like electrical signals in my brain.
I 'sense' there is something to this beyond what was discussed in the video.
For example, we all see the moon, yet we all have our own individual construct of the moon through our 'minds eye'. So, either that moon really is there, OR we are all connected through some form of unknown telepathic conscienceness that allows us to perceive the same moon.
Well once youve figured out everything we have (the first 18 minutes of information) what is left but speculation? There is no possible way to know what it really is. Open your mind and think about it. It is the reason i believe in a creator. Something outside of time itself that our human brains literally do not have the capability of understanding. When you die you'll figure it out, thats what I believe.
Always a good fun reading all the controversy.
This is a really good anatomy and physiology course
Our existence is a product of our own experience and our experience a product of our own existence. We think, therefore we are; we are, therefore we think.
We are all just enjoying writing and pressing our own ideas. This video may have something useful to illuminate, but it will add confusion too. The world experienced is real, but has no lasting essence, it is how we perceive it that creates the illusion. Because we have a habit of taking all the experiences as real, conditions ourselves to experience it as solidly real. If we work with our minds we can transform our perception or the world, so that it no longer makes us unhappy..
NLP is a branch of psychology that suggests that the world isn't percieved outside in like a computer reciveing information but inside out, as if we were explorers.
Actually, the video does define the creator. It says that WE are the creators. It seems somewhat paradoxical, but, by the act of perception, we create that which we perceive. We are both the dreamer and the dreamed, which actually harkens back to old native american creation myths which said that essentially, we dreamed the universe into existence.
I`m not sure how much time passed that I was in a coma, at least 24 to 36 hrs, but it seemed to me to only last a few minutes. Time is relative, and when you are "somewhere else" time means nothing....
Not humanity, but life itself. I picture the Universe as a giant brain, and we are self-conscious thoughts in its dreamworld. The Law of attraction states that physical matter can be altered using the power of thought and emotion. Basically you imagine what you want and believe it has already happened and BOOM it happens, no telling how long it takes. It's up to your level of consciousness, which is why it is so good to meditate.
"And if I am completely controlled by something other than me, what then is the purpose of my life?" Then I can't be held liable for my deed. I can't be proud of myself for my achievment. The "controller" responsible for everything happenes with me.
"Do we subconsciously 'read' or filter this data then build an experience that seems real? " Yes. That's how a wittnes on a court is not lying but not telling the truth.
