Dude won a Grammy, was invited to play Clapton's Crossroads Festival, has played with Mayer, Bramhall and loads more and tours the world doing his thing. Don't feel too bad for him. ;-)
I agree, he needs much more recognition than he gets. But right now the mainstream is not really into this as much as it used to. So it will take time for things to shift. Hopefully things will open up again.

I've literally introduced Gary to all of my friends and family members, he is truly so amazing!!! I'm hoping in the next couple of years he does the halftime show for the Super Bowl and he just takes off from there. I seen him in concert in 2018 at the Red Butte Gardens in Salt Lake City and he absolutely killed it ...... #legend

To say the world has not touched us with musical soulfulness and climactic riffs can only be reflective of those never being fortunate enough to experience the GARY CLARK MAGIC - such a refreshing performer and mindful guardian of the soul.
I used to see him at The Continental Club here in Austin,TX. Afterwards we would sit and have a beer, shoot the breeze, end the night with a handshake and a hug. Those days are over... Back then he was Gary Clark. Took me forever to get used to jr... I'm happy that all his hard work paid off. Great guy. Super nice. So happy to have been there before he made it big. Amazing song!
