Gabriel's death legitimately hurts. His death was the one that had the most affect on me (Bobby came a close second) because ... how can you not feel sorry for Gabriel? Speaking from experience, being afraid and being tired are two completely different things. I don't blame Gabriel for leaving Heaven. In the end, he stood up to Lucifer, and look where that got him. The trickster's powers were far more impressive in my opinion than the normal smity whitey powers angels usually show off. Throwing people into time loops, into tv shows with dozens of actors which he created, turning sam into the Impala, throwing people onto alien spaceships with slow dancing aliens... I mean come on!

You know, while watching this I just had a thought. . .In the same episode that we see Gabriel die, it is revealed that he spent some time pretending to be one of the pagan gods. For some reason, regardless of how the gods assembled in that episode are actually portrayed in their religions, the show establishes that they all eat human flesh. Gabe doesn't come off as that disturbed by this. he had probably witnessed it while passing himself off as Loki, after all. . . only thing i hate about the angels is that they were all played up so much. besides lucifer, all the angels seemed so weak. i mean, gabriel's best move was to simply form a clone thingy and attack from the back. his fight with lucifer ended in 1 move. i wish there was more cool fights, not just a couple of angels showing up, talking smack, then getting killed off like with amara.

I believe Lucifer was stronger than gabriel, he was god's favourite and he probably have more experience fighting. But yeah I don't they think displayed Gabriel's power enough in the series, he was kinda sideline in terms of power as compared to all the other archangles

I don't understand how the fuck Raphael is everyone's least favorite. He was the first Archangel to (almost) cry, he was full of emotion even when he was emotionless, the speech he gave Castiel and Dean about a Godless universe is still one of my favourite scenes from Supernatural, the guy was awesome. Also don't even come at me with ''He wanted the apocalypse'' or ''He was so mean, he hurt my fav character'' boo to the fucking hoo, LUCIFER has done ALOT worse. He tortures humans for fun, it was mentioned numerous times that he raped Sam, he killed his own fucking brother, he constantly gaslights the people around him and he excuses his behaviour on the fact that ''God created everything, he made me who I am'', etc. Ya'll only like him because his ''hot'' or some bullshit like that. Raphael and Gabriel are definitely my two top favourite Archangels.
None of that. I just think he's character was underused in S6. Not the fault of the actors, but the writers tried to fit so much in that season that Raphael's story just fell through the cracks. I don't hate him or dislike him, he's just my least favourite of the Archangels. He still did a lot of cool things, those you've mentioned and even more.

Wrong. God (chuck) vs Darkness (Amara) couldn't even destroy a room. Michale vs Lucifer + Gabriel on Earth 2 didn't even destroy a patch of grass.

Lucifer can burn off the cuffs, neither of Michaels can do that, so I think that makes him the strongest archangel.

You know, while watching this I just had a thought. . .In the same episode that we see Gabriel die, it is revealed that he spent some time pretending to be one of the pagan gods. For some reason, regardless of how the gods assembled in that episode are actually portrayed in their religions, the show establishes that they all eat human flesh. Gabe doesn't come off as that disturbed by this. he had probably witnessed it while passing himself off as Loki, after all. . . But, uh. . . does that mean that he's eaten with them while trying to fit in? D:

only thing i hate about the angels is that they were all played up so much. besides lucifer, all the angels seemed so weak. i mean, gabriel's best move was to simply form a clone thingy and attack from the back. his fight with lucifer ended in 1 move. i wish there was more cool fights, not just a couple of angels showing up, talking smack, then getting killed off like with amara.

I believe Lucifer was stronger than gabriel, he was god's favourite and he probably have more experience fighting. But yeah I don't they think displayed Gabriel's power enough in the series, he was kinda sideline in terms of power as compared to all the other archangles

If anything Raphael was sidelined and misused by the writers of s5 and 6.
In the show Gabriel was making alternate dimensions so that's pretty powerful
I love the archangels 😍 They are so powerful and... aw*-* They go well together, but everyone has a own perfect character (Okay, I don't like Raphael how the others). Lucis look when he "killed" (He's still alive, isn't he? At least the producer says so, doesn't?) his brother is so sad 😖

I don't understand how the fuck Raphael is everyone's least favorite. He was the first Archangel to (almost) cry, he was full of emotion even when he was emotionless, the speech he gave Castiel and Dean about a Godless universe is still one of my favourite scenes from Supernatural, the guy was awesome. Also don't even come at me with ''He wanted the apocalypse'' or ''He was so mean, he hurt my fav character'' boo to the fucking hoo, LUCIFER has done ALOT worse. He tortures humans for fun, it was mentioned numerous times that he raped Sam, he killed his own fucking brother, he constantly gaslights the people around him and he excuses his behaviour on the fact that ''God created everything, he made me who I am'', etc. Ya'll only like him because his ''hot'' or some bullshit like that. Raphael and Gabriel are definitely my two top favourite Archangels.

I just think he's character was underused in S6. Not the fault of the actors, but the writers tried to fit so much in that season that Raphael's story just fell through the cracks.
I don't hate him or dislike him, he's just my least favourite of the Archangels.
He still did a lot of cool things, those you've mentioned and even more.
