Did you double the recipe to get the thickness of the final cake? I see the video cake is a very thin layer. Does the temperature change of it was doubled. ❤
The pumpkin we have tinned in the US is generally a variety grown specially for baking, not the bigger ones. I’ve heard roasted butternut squash is a good substitute for canned pumpkin. It’s really the spices that bring out the flavor.

Adding corn starch mimicks cake flour also known as pastry flour. So, instead of using cake flour you get the same result by adding corn starch to all purpose flour. This makes cakes softer/more tender.
Hi ,how r u love to c your cakes , I have one request if u can bake that for me , its caramel pound cake (caramel frosting should be hard one ) not grey soft icing, need that old fashioned caramel icing which after setting becomes hard and yummy....as can't post the pic here for reference, Will be waiting for it ... thanks ❤

My mother in law taught me to make this pumpkin cake she use butter instead of oil and milk with no egg she calls it pumpkin buns
