  • Today we zoom in on International Relations and Cooperation Minister Ronald Lamola.
President Cyril Ramaphosa appointed Lamola, previously Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, to International Relations and Cooperation in the government of national unity (GNU), replacing Naledi Pandor who had held the post since 2019.
Lamola will tomorrow (Tuesday) begin his first engagement abroad. Lamola will meet with his British counterpart in London, David Lammy.
He will also attend the African Union mid-term summit in Ghana next week. Minister Lamola joins us virtually to reflect on his new role in the government of national unity (GNU).
