I am currently studying the Schumann Arabesque and decided to work on this as well, for there are a lot of similarities in the voices, triplets, etc. For this little piece, I am not having trouble with the voicing or the harmonization or the melody, but I am having some difficulty reading the notes fast enough to get it up to speed. I’ve been working on it for a couple days now. Your tutorials have helped.
That is a truly fantastic sounding upright piano. Masterful playing as well. Props to both you and your technician. I have found a same year Charles Walter. Now seriously considering it.
Beautiful and I personally like that tempo. Just wondering, having just learned this piece - you seem to be arpeggiating some of the chords with the left hand playing slightly before the right - is this recommended in Schumann (or in some Schumann pieces)?
