Another way that he won is that in John Wick 3 he said he wanted to keep living so he could continue to remember his wife, Helen. After all of this, he pretty much ensured that everyone will remember her:
Assassin 1: Why did John Wick go on his infamous rampage? I forget.
Assassin 2: Well, it all started when his wife died and left him a puppy. And then someone murdered that puppy and stole his car.

One of the hardest things about John Wick that no one ever talks about is that he just walks in the open, no disguises, no trying to hide. He welcomes all of the smoke.

John Wick kill count over all 4 movies is approximately 439 kills. Almost 1 kill per minute of total runtime lol
Unsurprisingly, JW 4 has the highest kill count, at about 140. Chapter 2 was 128, Chapter 3 was 94 and the original that started it all, 77. At least according to one site. Pretty insane.

The moral of John Wick has always been that violence begets violence, and once you start, it always escalates - so the ending credit scene was perfect, showing that as soon as you think you have peace, your violent actions create more violence towards you. And John dying was the only way they could end this series and keep the moral intact. This is an amazing series, every movie is fantastic in different ways, while the threads connecting them are strong and vibrant.

law. That would explain their closeness and his words over his tombstone at the end. Winston had renounced to having a relationship with his daughter much like Sophia and the blind hitman, in order to protect her. Don’t know if it’s true, but it’d make for a great backstory.

    2) With the Osaka scenes (choreography, lighting, and music) we now know who needs to make a live-action Cyberpunk movie.
    3) The crazy thing about Donnie Yen's swordsmanship here is that it is NOT sped up with digital effects. He actually can stab that fast.

Love Steven's "never judge a book by its cover" comment about how Killa the heavyset German was able to fight John Wick. For anyone who doesn't know the actor who played Killa, I'm sure such a big dude having such fighting chops was a surprise. But for anyone who knows that Killa was portrayed by Scott Adkins in a fat suit, there were no surprises. I highly recommend that N&S React checks out some Scott Adkins movies. Avengement and Undisputed 2, 3, and 4 are must-watch films for the fight choreography alone. Also, Close Range is just non-stop action, and Accident Man 1 & 2 are fantastic fun. Scott Adkins is one of the best fighters in action movies, period. He's studied many forms of martial arts, but his acrobatics and kicking skills are second to none. It's a shame he's only just being discovered by the masses now. He also does a RUclips channel called The Art of Action where he interviews legendary and B movie action stars. Keanu Reeves was interviewed about a month ago, if anyone wants to check it out!

The overhead view building fight with the 'dragon breath' shotgun was worth the price of admission. They had to have the dragon breath shells so you could track Wick moving. The scene seems to be one-shot but I think there are some places where he goes through a doorway that would have been easy cuts (no idea, I didn't look at it frame by frame but one of them looked like a cut). I like to think Mr. Nobody is an actual "Nobody" like the movie "Nobody". They can bring John back if they want or do some spinoffs with the other characters Cane, Akira, Mr. Nobody. John's final scene was such a Cowboy Bebop, the anime one, type of moment. If you have seen the anime you know what I mean. Man I loved this movie.

There are a few moments when you get the thought "are they being self aware" because John is very much in a live action videogame, this movie is very gamified. Then there's a crazy fight scene in the road and it reaaaaly feels like they know it, and then a little bit later the camera does something super unique (for movies) and cool and just about every gamer on the planet has seen this angle before and that clinches it, they absolutely know this is Saint's Row 4 and the rules are out the window.

Director Chad Stahelski is a movie buff, and as such, has taken inspiration from several titles for John Wick 4, including the "I am Groot" piece of dialogue said by a certain MCU tree in Guardians of the Galaxy. Originally, "I am Klaus" was simply supposed to be stand-in dialogue and changed later once the part was cast, but Stahelski thought it would be more interesting to leave the dialogue as is with the explanation, "I’ve met James Gunn and I think he’s a hilarious guy, so we’ll just tip off ‘I am Groot’.” (via Letterbox). Not only does it work as an homage to Groot, but it also makes Klaus just as distinct in the John Wick franchise.

All we know is, John Wick 5 is in production and Keanu is back. He's also co-starring alongside the ballerina from the third film for another movie and he may also appear in the Continental miniseries too. Keanu Reeves has mentioned that he is willing to continue being John Wick a few more times. This movie may depict his ending, but there's definitely more stories that they have yet to show us of the Baba Yaga.

I’m pretty sure John is dead (I hope), but we didn’t really get a hard confirmation of it. We did get loads of foreshadowing throughout the movie though (being asked what to put on his tombstone, him eventually giving an answer, him saying hello to the dead, etc.) and the way the 2 closest people to him throughout this series talk about him like he’s actually dead makes me think he is. It also makes some sense because he gets to be with his wife.

He only thinks about his love and everything is about her. He only loves her even after her death. He mentioned I wanna live just to remember her. He doesn't go around and pick another love. because true love is one. he only thinks about his wife. that's something important to show to ppl these days. which is true love.

I have never been as physically exhausted in a movie theater as I was for John Wick Chapter 4!
During the entire 3rd act we go from one of the most intense car chase / car fighting scene, to one of the best shot action sequences I have ever seen during the abandoned building fight scene. I felt my fingers go into the same crab claw shape when I play video games on pure reflex when it started to look like so many LITERALLY over the top games I grew up on!
THEN we get the insane stair fight, which every single step John fell down I practically felt just watching (and I’m starting to believe that both Keanu Reeves and John Wick are actually part Saiyan because every time he gets beaten to rear death he comes back stronger and deadlier). Then we finally get to the duel and thank god It was long enough in the end that we saw the look on the Marquis’s face when he realized he fucked up!🤣🤣🤣
As for the ending, it’s recently been announced that they are working on John Wick Chapter 5, plus I already believed he survived because the perfect retirement is where everyone thinks you’re dead.
