One of my favorite live bands. Their Mad Season record doesn’t have a bad song on it. Rob is a great songwriter.
An old song released some 20 years ago now but still one of the best.

Matchbox Twenty is so good. They are currently on tour! Rob Thomas has put out some awesome singles. One of the best is “Someday” and many can relate to it. Excellent video!!

Absolutely love Matchbox 20! Definitely one of my favorite groups. A couple of years ago the song was reimagined by Steve Aoki and Kiiari. They were joined by Rob in their video of - Used to Be.
Also, there is a great song that addresses panic attacks by the band - Nicotine Dolls -Madness -

I just saw the ND last week, so a little obsessed.

I finally reached out for help with my addictions, lsck of help the system gives. I was referred to mental health services after having chest pains and other in the ER room
One of my faves. Anytime you fell a little down, it is great to turn this on to hear you are not alone in these feelings.it really makes you feel better about yourself.

I've never cared for the term "mental illness" to describe things like anxiety or depression. It seems to me that's more like EMOTIONAL illness. MENTAL illness is when you have actually lost touch with reality--someone who is literally psychotic. While I understand that the brain can play a part in these things, depressed or anxious people should not be lumped in with, for example, the paranoid schizophrenic or someone with multiple personalities simply because they're having trouble coping with some problems in their life.
Why do you dislike anxiety and depression considered to be mental illnesses? I'm just curious how it hurts anything or anyone. There are a lot of mental illnesses that have nothing to do with having lost touch with reality. I believe that schizoid disorders are the only mental illness types that involve anything like losing touch with reality.
Mental illness includes a very wide range of disorders and types of disorders, and they all involve disorganized/chaotic thinking or mood dysregulation. Having some problems coping with some problems in life is not the same as having a diagnosable condition of anxiety or depression. For someone to be diagnosed with a mental disorder they must have clinically significant disturbance in cognition, emotional regulation, or behaviour. All mental health disorders are not 'lumped' together. They are distinguished by four broad typs: mood, anxiety, personality, and psychotic. They're grouped together by type because they are treated in similar ways or have similar symptoms or features.
