This is truly a beautiful animation, i know how that feels with inflation of prices going up, but rhat was wholesome that everyone came together in the end to help support his buiissness.
As a Filipino, an artist, and one who knows what its like to struggle financially, this hit me in all different places. Your work is not only a master of story telling, within the span of 2 minutes may I add, but also the elements of art and animation makes this a masterpiece. Will be spreading positivity of your work and I hope your grades for this are skyrocket-high
Same here!, I'm glad many cultures from around the world are using furry animation to express it in an cute and entertaining way, this animation is Pawesome, I hope he does more of this in the future! ^∆^
This is the kind of video that shows that you don't always need to hear words to tell a wonderful story. Thank you so much for showing at the end what tools you used to design such a work, a very beautiful video from start to finish. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🫶🏻👌🏻👍🏻
Finally, another hidden gems of good RUclips video thanks to algorithm. Kinda sad this video has small amount of views, it should deserve more views than ±50k views. Keep it up. BTW nice Zootopia reference at 2:25.
This brings me back, Pandesal was something my parents would get from a local bakery when we had the extra money. I remember the taste so well, and when it went stale, my ma would make it into these amazing little french toast bites. I hope I can recreate them some day, until then, thank you for reminding me of my childhood.
I really love the story that the animation is trying to tell. In addition, this is pretty much the situation we're going through at the Philippines, we can definitely feel the effect of inflation, even on small or medium businesses. At the same time, I loved the details it had like the continuous support of people to one another despite of the events that happened, which reminds me of the fact that I have a sari-sari store wherein my whole family manages it, including me. So I pretty much find this relatable and wholesome. Overall, the animation is pretty simple but had a lot of good details, it definitely deserves the attention that it needs. Keep the good work ❤❤
This was so cute, inspiring, and even a little emotional at the same time. When your going rough times, there will always be at least someone to help you get through it.
A holy grail of animation that i've seen in my lifetime The touch where character speaks in the way of the animal they represent does is a cherry on top (i.e the dog only barks and puppy whining, meanwhile like the cat meows instead of using human noises)
This kinda got me thinking about the implications of chefs and bakers in furry universes. Humans need to wear hair nets. Do furries need to wear a suit to prevent their fur from falling into the food? Or would having fur in your food be a norm? Imagine kneading dough with furry hands and the bread comes out either smelling like burnt hair or has hair on the inside.
A Community can come together to scrimp, save, and support each other in hard times. Unfortunately many people, especially in Western countries like my own no longer really live in a community. We live in lower trust societies where there are many takers but few givers. This is a nice food for thought video.
I only speak enough Spanish to understand the tittle of the store but I'm glad I didn't have to use subtitles to understand the story. Being able to tell a story without written dialogue is an amazing skill I loved this so much!
@@JeroteroActually it’s more of a Filipino indie film and not Spanish because of the ₱ or Philippine peso sign being on the prices, also the words pandesal and kape are Filipino. Spain did have their influences on the Philippines such as language and you are sort of correct because they’re pretty similar, the title is Spanish tho so yeah :3
@@delta_romeo-3-4 oh huh thanks for the correction I forget that there are other money systems since I haven't left my home country at all. Heck even my own state-
Yeah as a Filipino myself it's really hard to get off that mentality that if I price my stuff too high nobody's gonna take it even at the cost of sustainability.
I dont sell pandesals or any bread like delacacies, but this really hits me so much, i remember eating pandesals with a bunch of.. palamans(idk the english word of it qwq) or just eat it with no palamans. So whenever i wake up, and see my parents/grandpa gone, i expect pandesals in the house, and i shall be the one to finish it all cuz goddamn they taste good. But financially speaking, there were some shops who used to sell pandesals back then, but now, whenever i walk/drive by them, i see they no longer sell some, and it really saddens me since i really loved their pandesals.. If your reading this, how many pandesals have i said so far?

Ahh, he felt shame and afraid and that's why he didn't change the prices
Glad you made it so people from different languages could still understand the story without having to use subtitles 👍

It's so good that his customer agree for he to raise the prices. Normally this is impossible...
Well he had a good business. And its filipino! Because of pandesal and kape.

Raising prices to cover operational costs is just the nature of the beast. It also is impressive that he handles it all on his own!
As a small business owner who's been in business for over 20 years and is being crushed by price increases right now this made me cry.
