Hey Sonny. It is great to see you in Lebanon. I am Lebanese and some advice the best food is not in hotels, it's the street/local food. Also, the flavors differ between north to south Lebanon, so you have to broaden your food search.

Definitely not. Lebanon is a failed state where the people let a terrorist militia take over the country and did nothing and blame others (Israel & USA) for their own incompetence.
It was a very popular tourist destination when it was stable something like 20 years ago. Then the war with Israel and the economic crisis pushed people away. I remember Beirut had international fashion shows and movie premieres along with other important worldwide events , it was a very attractice place for many important festive events. It was the Dubai or Las Vegas of the Middle East , before Dubai even was popular.
Sonny you have to go to country side part of Lebanon in Jezzine to be exact there's a very nice place called Bluejay Valley incredible view and very delicious food
While watching this video - an advertisement broke out halfway through for Rocket Learn with you in it - caught me off guard haha. Awesome video man, Lebanon's a great place to visit!

You are absolutely correct! When the Muslim Ottoman's invaded Austria in 1529 and during the Siege of Vienna, the local residents of the city teased the invaders by creating the croissant in the shape of the Muslim Crescent.
True, it's the same for Burgers, it's actually American, if you read deep into it, some claims it's from Germany due to the city name Hamburg Then you have French fries, which are not really french, but they're originated from Belguim Oh the more you know

The pool breakfast was pretty lame but funny to see. Anyone willing to make themselves look silly so others can laugh at them is a person I like. Good job.
If I was on vacation, I would roll out of bed into my swimsuit after a long night of dancing and whatnot. Get a pool floaty and have that breakfast tray float next to me the whole time. I'd be eating with one eye open, least effort possible. I don't care how silly I'd look, that's 50 worth it than standing at the buffet hungover. (The food really wasn't that impressive on it though)

I'll be real with you. The video was amazing, the location and food seemed underwhelming. Lebanon is one of many countries that is best visited where there's tradition and history. Regardless of all the luxury, the real taste and delicacy you'll find in the alleyways and 'sooks' (which is 'market' in Arabic). It's understandable why you chose these locations so far but I, as a lebanese myself, do hope you visit places that feel like time travel. And to taste from the hands of 3rd and 4th generation bakers and butchers is a wonderful experience.
