I tried a speed run Necro for the first time, got to Capstone at just under 3 hours level 33 all legendary gear with all relevant bone spear aspects from codex. Got through the dungeon okay but couldn't beat The Curator after 10+ tries and then was disconnected. I was dying in one hit to the green stripes attack he does, couldn't move out of the way fast enough even with near max roll speed increase on boots and amulet. It was rough. I had fun doing it though.
I improvised. I'm abusing a mechanic in the game with resetting events, so I only need CE as my main damage. I think that guide is really solid for general gameplay. Speedrunning is just different. lol
@@MrBdericks Moving in and out of different zones can put you into another "shard" if the players online is high enough. Crossplay allows so many more servers to connect to you AND there are more people creating server demand to create more shards of the same area.
@@jymnasium Thanks for the reply. Wanting to go Necro for the 1st time, I was training today but failed to do capstone without respeccing to bonespear. Any advice to clear it on blood surge? Should I go blood lance instead? 🙂
@@icarusgeo Blood surge to level to about 40-45, then respec into bone spear with 2 aspects: splintering and grasping veins. It'll be tough that early, so if you aren't confident then level a bit more, but it's doable. - I'll be uploading a vid of me basically solo'ing it in our group run.

That's awesome :) Yeah, Curator practice helps. For necro it's easy to just time Blood Mist.
Fun run! Necro is SO powerful! 1 hour 45 mins is probably the fastest possible time..? I still had plenty of mistakes, it's tough
what build do you use? straight from maxroll gg bonespear (levelling guide?) or did you improvise abit

Blood surge for speed leveling up to the Capstone DG would have been much faster, right?

12, 3, 6, 9 EST times, but only good for Necro.
