Great idea! I tried it today and it worked well with tarps over a wooden frame. I was in there for over 2 hours and had no problems with carbon monoxide. cost was approx $120 CDN for a 65,000 BTU propane heater and $20 to fill the propane tank. Kiitos!!!
I would recommend using a infrared sauna(thing) with this plastic tent. It's safer, if electricity issnt a issue. Buuut infrared sauna has proven to help for the skin and some other health benifits, I would do so research into this if I was you. Good luck! Have fun ❤️
Love This! I’ve been doing lakeside tent sweats in Canada, but making a fire outside, heating rocks and then putting them in a pot and then dragging it into the tent. It’s a bit more of a traditional Native American sweat, But it takes a lot of work. I like your system much more! Thanks for sharing!
You guys are crazy! But we love it, well done, a good idea for winter😉.. Here in Andalucia our tent on the roof is like a sauna now but we don’t need the heater, we just keep the tent closed and the sun does the rest🥵🥵xx
@@deltafour1212 Celcius, of course. 95ºF is just a hot day outside. I can take 95ºC for 20 minutes tops before needing to cool down. A small/thin person would likely need to leave sooner as they have more surface area to volume and would heat up faster. I've recently started learning to breathe and tolerate the humid air in steam rooms and I've yet to last 15 minutes in one, and they're only 40 to 45º! (110ºF or so)
That's a great solution! I've been waiting a Mobiba sauna tent for years, but they are soooo expensive! I am really going to look into this. Easy to just put in the car and drive to one of the many lakes in my part of Sweden. 😊 I've never seen that kind of burner though, where did you get that? When I was a teenager we always slept in the sauna (my best friend was Finnish and had their own sauna in the house) after a night out. Drank 1L water, sauna on a cool 50C and a good long sleep. Never got hangover at all! 👍
If you're using Stones you find you might want to heat them up quite a bit before your near them because they might trap air and explode when heated I suppose the ones you would buy have already been heated to make sure that that wouldn't happen

Can you list the equipment you have in this video? I’m curious what tent that is and what heater you’re using. Is it safe to have that heater on in an enclosed space breathing wise?
Its a hunting tent and largest lpg fire pit ring that we could find from store. Tent itself is not even near airtight and you can feel the air coming underneath the tent. If it would be airtight, then it would a dead trap.
I love learning about the culture of other countries. Here in the states, sauna's are not a big thing. In work out facilities, they usually have them but other than that, no. sauna may be a thing for colder countries but the funny thing is when Finnish UN soldiers make a camp in a hot country the first thing we build is a sauna even there was over +40 celsius ! :)

Not really ! Only if its not burning properly and even if that happend TENT is maybe safest place for that bacause good ventilation and carbon monoxide was moved away from roof hole so fast. when LPG is burning it make 99.9% water and carbon dioxide !

LPG when burning clean it shouldnt produce carbon monoxide, thats awesome! Saw your instagram post!

We used normal 6kW normal pressure stove. Just make sure that its metal bucket everything works great. :)

What about carbon monoxide from stove ?
Tried with our carbon monoxide sensor from the van, it showed 0 ppm. CO is only introduced when the combustion is not pure.
Doesn't propane produce Carbon "Dioxide"? Which is still unsafe?

I'd be worried about heating whatever plastic material the tent is made of and breathing that.
I brought a CO detector in mine to be safe, and it never went off during a 2 hour continuous burn.
