    thanks bro for the update ,just got the same, a week old innova X,no regrets,just as you said the drive experience...opted out of 4x4 cos hardly use that features,been in Sabah/Labuan for the last 30 years and the Innova suspension is the best,still keeping my old avanza and first gen toyota Rush.....very bumpy cars to drive unless carry passengers or goods....
    thanks for saying.."you are impressed with this latest Innova"..the X version is not a poor man"s Vellfire or Alphard..is really value for money.

    Hi Uncle! Great drive test video as usual! I've had my Innova for about a week, like you said, handling is ok...not bad as this is a higher car and on a ladder frame...a far cry from the Unser and 1st gen Innovas. I find it a bit slow at picking up but at 80 onwards...the car is smooth and very nice to drive around. When all this Covidsh!t is over...I plan to drive up the Pain-Borneo Highway.

    Between this and the Mitsubishi Xpander, I would get the Xpander if my purpose is to carry 7 people.Although it is powered by a 1.5L engine,it is adequate as it is much lighter than the Innova..It seat 7 people comfortably and also it drives comfortably too due to the monocoque build vs the ladder frame build of the Innova.Not to mention it is much cheaper!

    • @YSKhongDriving

      Yes, each car appeals to a dofferent person in a different way. Yup, the Xpander is a great vehicle too.

    • @emilylimsl9884
      @emilylimsl9884 3 года назад +12

      Yeah, because Innova is such big car while Xpander is small MPV as both are different segment.
      But Innova comes with good power at least while Xpander only 170km/h as top speed, Innova is slightly faster than Xpander as Innova top speed is 180km/h. While Innova comes with 6AT, Xpander comes with 4 AT and Innova carries bigger liter capacity compare to Xpander.
      Besides, Innova comes with Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) and come with 6 airbags where Xpander lacks. Even Xpander come with 2 airbags. And also Innova have more space with good comfort for passengers including second row and third row which Innova is quite big car.
      But I’m not saying Xpander are not good. At least both Xpander and Innova are good as overall. Even both Xpander and Innova are still affordable but all depends on specs and safety features that attracts to the customers.

      @@darrenfoo8269 Kia as a whole has poor sales in Malaysia, so not many new models seen nowadays. But a new dealer might be taking over. So maybe there will be some changes in the near future. Honda and Mazda are popular here along with the two national car companies. Car companies over here are commonly using downsized gasoline turbo engines rather than diesel injected ones. Hybrids sell well in Malaysia too. So you get car companies like Volvo, Toyota, Honda, Mercedes and BMWs selling quite a few hybrid models. Electrics are mostly in PHEV form.
