“That’s not supposed to happen to people like me”. That made me tear up!
Me too
Ditto!😟
I think that’s why when she first came in, she had a difficult attitude because she was not wanting to be disappointed.
That comment hit so close to home🥺
Made me tear up too. Know where she’s coming from 🥺
I honestly like the purple one the best., but im glad she's happy with the dress she got.
Me too!
Same!
If the purple dress was white, that would’ve been perfect 🤩
@@MrsSherrymcm I agree !
I liked the purple one! 💜
I think there's still alot of pain in her heart. She looks stunning. 💗.
I think perhaps she needs skin removal surgery. The rudeness comes from being prepared to hate everything due to her body. She doesn’t see what we see. 💖💖💖
Without her tattoos I agree.
There's no need to be rude to Jo and Al who are the nicest people around. It's an honor to have people so kind to help you. I'm no longer plus size, more just curvy now but would fly across the world to have them help me
Sadly, this bride is rude. Don’t know if it’s insecurity or what, but she could’ve been much nicer to Jo and Al.
I agree. I bet her style is curt and snarky, but she should have been a little more respectful to them. She insulted the dresses they pulled, and even when she liked the dress was "I like it" instead of being nicer.
I agree. This bride is rude and shouldn't have to be.
She just knows what she likes.
Many brides are rude.
I agree but the mother and friend were just the same. The thing though is their reactions seemed "acted" as if initially planned to be difficult because it was for the show
The blush dress was so fantastic on her, can't believe she didn't choose that one. Also the first one was so lovely, she looked incredible. Only the one she choose didn't really looked nice but if she is happy that all that matters
I think the same it was perfect
Agree.
Like the ladies say, it’s not how pretty a dress is, but how the bride feels in it.
SwsXź
"Only the one she choose didn't really looked nice"...... Lucky she doesn't rely on your opinion or spelling lol...... I'm always amused by negative people who can't string a sentence together.
The purple dress was actually the most flattering to her figure!!
Yes, thought so too.....
Ditto!
I agree, I think the problem they had with it is.... it wasn't white. If she would've tried this exact dress on in white, they would've loved it.
Yup for sure!
She looked the most gorgeous in the purple dress. The blush dress was lovely too. The other 2 dresses looked very very similar to me; yet she hated one but loved the other. She'll look very special on her wedding day because she'll be radiating happiness and love.
I know. I thought she tried the same one on again and loved it the second time after hating it the first time. Confusing.
The purple one in white or blush would have been stunning on her.
She didn't look 'gorgeous" in anything, so why lie about it? She's an ordinary looking woman, not some knockout beauty, and she knows that about herself. As someone who has always been plain looking, and now in my elderly years, downright homely, I HATE IT when anyone says I'm "beautiful" or "gorgeous" or even just "pretty." It's not true, and I don't want to hear it, and likely she doesn't want to hear it, either!
@@infamyinfamy The lace on the purple dress hit her figure in the wrong place & in my opinion it made her look a bit wider at her problem area. I didn't think the dress she chose was much better because of the band around the thigh area, cutting it off, but it did accentuate her curves above the band.
@@jb6712 Well aren't you just a bundle of positivity. She's certainly not homely; besides, true beauty comes from what's inside a person, not just what's on the outside.
I like how she said Natalie chose her dress her way...so many times on these dress shows I hear the bride say I don't like it and the people say oh it looks beautiful on you and don't listen to the bride.
I have nothing but respect for her being able to say no when she doesn't like something. It's just a dress, if she doesn't like it, that isn't skin off anyone's nose.
It's hard to say no, I'm so proud of her being able to say it so confidently
Hello my lady
There’s no need to be so rude about it though. Just say no this isn’t for me you don’t need to be like NO NONONONO O like eesh calm tf down
Agreed - especially when the ladies had specifically told her they wouldn't be hurt or offended if she was completely honest and straightforward with them about rejecting dresses she didn't like. You can't then turn around and label her as 'difficult' because she does exactly that!
You can both say no confidently and be polite.
You can state your opinion. without being rude. Most people today have no manners. Really sad people admire rudeness!😮
“Thats different. It’s a nice shape!” Its the exact same shape as the first dress, which you HATED 😂?
I love Jo's sideways look.
Essex/ London thing 😂😂😂
She's very animated. I love her.
The blush dress looked lovely on her. So feminine, soft, and classy.
This video is showing May 2022, but it was actually first shown quite some while ago. Sad to say, Jo and Al's bridal business no longer continues and they have now moved on to other things, namely addressing hoarding/house clearing and decor. Al has lost a shedload of weight, due to undergoing gastric bypass surgery (she talks about thinking about doing this in one of their series). I loved this channel; all we can do now is cherish what we have.
You may find their new stuff under the 'Really' channel.
The shop still has a website and it looks like they still work there. Maybe the house clearing is to keep a toe in the t.v. pond.
@@jenniferpearce1052 yep, it is.
She is glowing in that dress. I hope she continues to glow, loving who she is and appreciates her body. I wish her all the best in her married future.
what I'm missing in life is jo and al cheering me on in life and being my therapist thru shopping to boot
I mean couldn't ask for a better life with them in my corner
Hello my lady 😊
Why does the blonde consultant look very twitchy? It’s almost as if she is on math.
@@baddie1shoe I totally agree. Her fingers are always going a mile a minute, in many different directions. It's distracting.
I don't understand why there's not a boutique like this here in the USA.
It obviously fills a much needed niche. It would be perfect at a hub like ATL, Charlotte NC or Vegas. I'm very surprised someone hasn't jumped all over this.
There are plenty of wedding boutiques for the slightly larger lady in the US. What makes this boutique unique are the ladies who run it! You can't just photocopy that!
@@maryapatterson Thanks. I didn't know that.
You are absolutely right ✅.
There will definitely be lots of wedding dress boutiques like this in America. There is a significant percentage of ladies in the US who are curvy and wouldn’t really be able to find a dress at a regular wedding dress boutique. Considering how big the market is, it would be very weird if no one had taken advantage of the huge gap in the market.
@@rachelcookie321 there is in Chicago it’s on here
I believe there is one in Chicago.
I liked the purple one best, but she is lovely in anything.
agreed, i thought she looked beautiful in everything!
Agree with the purple dress. I also like the shape, the fabric, and the lace that faded into the skirt. If she didn't like the aubergine, I wonder if that could have been in blush.
The purple one fit her shape better. The one she chose was not complimentary to her shape at all. Yet that's what she thought it was. In the end, it's her happiness that matters.
I really liked her in the first dress but she does look beautiful in the one she picked.
I cant stand the word "no" used that many times consecutively. 😒🙄
I love how much fun she had with saying "no." Reminds me of myself. It's just a dress, after all.
No.4 is the same shape as no.1 (trumpet) except it has a beaded bodice - they even added to drop cap sleeves as in No 1. In the eye of the beholder I guess. The peuce dress drew the eye to her, which was where the attention should be, and looked beautiful. The bridal shop owners are always great.
I think there's a difference, and I liked the last one better. They are very similar, yes, but the fitted section of the first one went to her knees and made her entire midsection look like a big, round stomach. It wasn't flattering. The last one has the fitted section end at the mid thighs, and as such it emphasized the curves of her torso and elongated it.
Dress #1 and #4 were so similar. I feel like the first one showed her curves so much better. Either way, glad she found her dream dress. 💜
Preferred #1 too. But as long as she’s happy.
but it´s just mermaid as well but the rest of the look is completly diffrnt. materials and the flare out hit diffrent spots
You can express your opinion, and still be more polite than that.
Dress 4 they love has the same siluet as dress 1 they hate.
I loved all the gowns on this beautiful bride. I wish her and her fiance every happiness
These two ladies are so patient. That girl was so rude and they kept their composure. I love them.
She was not rude she was honest, she's the one that's going to wear the dress so she needs to feel comfortable and confident in it .not the two who are selling it .the look on their faces gave me the impression that they are the only ones whose opinion matters.
Saying no isn't rude. Let's say that for the people in the back.
SAYING NO ISNT RUDE
saying no isn't rude and knowing what you like and don't like and voicing that isn't rude, but saying things like "I feel like if I do this loo rolls will come out" is not saying no, it's being unnecessary and so I applaud Jo and Al for their professionalism.

Bucket list: save to meet Jo & Al just to say hello and tell them how phenomenal they are ❤ respect
Jo and Al are special angels!
What a beautiful bride. I hope she knows she deserves every happiness 💜💜💜
??????????
Wow we would love 2 visit the boutique, those shoes an accessorys are so lovely. Jo an Al are both class acts. Take note America.
My absolute favorite version of say yes to the dress. So uplifting and and positive and kind
@@aleighga1 that's really interesting to hear. Glad you shared it. I experienced this as perhaps the most negative with Jo and Al. The bride just seemed so rude. Glad you experienced it differently. Cheers!
@@rebeccaoliver7977 I actually kind of agree that she was a little rude. I was meaning about Jo and Al being kind.
@@aleighga1 I have to agree with you about Jo and Al being kind to their brides, and I also want to include SYTTD Lancashire and Auntie Gok in the favorite version list.
@@johnnabuzby6103 they all have had weight issues read their stories! Especially GOKS 💙😢
I really liked the first one and the blush one on her but happy to see her love the one she chose!
I'm glad she is happy with it -- I did not like it on her at all. The purple one's shape looked lovely - if she got that in a different colour she would have been stunning.
I completely agree
Fish really stole the episode for me. That hair 😍😍😍
It is her tattooed legs that got me!
I loved dress #2, the light pink dress. Glad she found a dress she liked and felt comfortable in.
I love the blush one on her. Happy she found the dress. Best wishes.
She looks gorgeous in all the dresses, even in the first one!
Bride: "I'm open to trying anything"
Also Bride: "No - no - no - no - no - no ........."
Being open to things doesn’t mean you have to like them…? Did you know that?
@@pillowtalk1925 I think it was how quickly she said no. She came off very rude.
The tone used was more dismissive, it doesn’t encourage others to find solutions It sounds like shutting them down. Love that she spoke her mind, but she could’ve been more mindful if anything.🤷♀️
@@isabellarussell4407 she voiced everything she didn’t like which allows them based off that to find what she could like by avoiding those things.
@@TriniMonstera some people are just honest.. why do people always need to sugarcoat? the employees said at the beginning: we didn’t design the dresses, so don’t worry we won’t be offended if you don’t like them.
First dress was gorgeous on bride
i love how this show has such diverse figures it’s great to see !❤️
I have only seen buxom women .
I felt the "once a big girl, always a big girl" comment. I've lost over 80lbs but I still feel like a plus sized girl
I wish she would have said no to the dresses she didn't like without insulting the dresses. That's hurtful and unkind to the people who are trying to help her find the right dress.
I love a woman who knows her own mind.
‘People like me” broke my heart. Honey, you look beautiful❣️❣️❣️
I loved the style of the aubergine one on her figure. Surly they had one in white or off white
The violet dress in white would have been perfect for her shape.
Loved the purple dress on her the best. I'm sure if it was white or blush it would have been the one.
I respectfully disagree. I thought the tulle skirt was very unflattering on her since it added bulk to her hip area. I didn't much care for the dress she chose, either. I thought it was too tight around her thigh area and it looked. . .awkward, but it flattered her figure up to that point, and she was happy with it so that's what matters.
She,s happy with her choice which is the main thing, but l thought it was the worst out of all of them. The aubergine dress was incredible .
Hello my lady
I love how adhd that consultant woman is it’s somewhat comforting and nerve wracking at the exact same time
I was kind of surprised with the hard no’s……………I want to know what she likes about her outfit that she walked in wearing…and maybe work from….that.
I’m happy for her but bless the consultants
I loved the purple one on her.
Fabulous work ladies, as always
You could tell that was the perfect dress because it made her look very happy and very pretty long dresses just dress you up and others forget it
Iam glad she found her dress you can't beat bit Jo an Al
The blush was pretty, but the aubergine one did amazing things for her figure. The blush was my second favourite. What makes me happiest though, is Jo found her something that MAKES HER SO HAPPY!! That's my favourite bit, always.
The way her being lit up no doubt she made the right decision!! Her beauty shone when she was smiling and twirling gorgeous.
Absolutely the purple was the most flattering, but not so bridal. Glad you found one she liked.
Fish's hair and leg tats are a vibe..
I liked the purple one the best, but then, I’m not the one choosing!
I love seeing the moment where they almost get little girlish and connect. 🥰
The purple one was much much more flattering !!!
You can try on a hundred dresses - but the second you try on the RIGHT one you just know. It's your special day - you don't need to settle for something you don't truly love.
I think that that mentality (and I know that for some people is like that, I'm not dismissing anyone experience) had a huge toll in some of my friends when they were looking for their dresses. That had hear and seen that in tv programs, but when they were shopping it didn't happened to them and they felt disappointed. No magic, not a special feeling. They went to their appointment waiting for it, and was a little hard for them to find that it was no the way they had imagined.
I thought the purple dress looked spectacular on her!
I think that the first dress was perfect for her and she looked amazing. I don't know why she didn't like it
Oh that blush dress is gorgeous!
The blush dress looked stunning on her.
Wowowow honestly that first dress was so gorgeous
Loved the Lou Rawls line! 🎼"You'll Never Find" 🎵 Sorry Jo and All. Loved her in the aubergine dress, fit her in all the right places, but the final result was well done, as always.
The pink blush was the best!

@ Grammy Bear so sweet 🤍 Hugs to you as well from your neighbor in Arkansas!
The dress she chose is gorgeous on her!!!
I like the purple dress congrats 💜
I liked the purple dress, but its her day. Congrats.....
Gorgeous girl, gorgeous dress!!!!
Honestly not the people I want picking my dress they were wayy too defensive
I wanted to see the curtain dress!
I think the shape of the purple dress looked best on her... she just needed it in ivory.
Nice to see that smile in her face when she found her dress, lovely reaction when in the beginning she was bold and direct saying No, no no 😂
Dress 1 and 4 were definitely my favorites on her. That Aubergine dress was also stunning. Didn't care for the Blush dress in all honesty
The first dress was my favourite, I have no idea why she said no immediately w out giving it a chance.
The pink dress is gorgeous and looked amazing on her.
Yes ladies u've done it 👏 🙌 👍 👌 💪 keep it 💯 👌 👍 absolutely gorgeous
Her friend Fish has gorgeous long hair!!
The bride did not look at all like a plus size bride, but....she did however look completely amazing in her dress that she picked out! Totally beautiful!!
Funnily enough I thought she looked too slim to be a 'curvy bride' when she walked in but then she tried on that first dress and it made her look enormous. No wonder she didn't like it.
She has a relatively slim face and narrow shoulders. She carries her weight differently.
Because she is now half the size she was before, she needed this experience... Also her body image has not caught up with her weight loss.
Yes it looks perfect!!!
Love the long red hair.
Too long
I wish they had a shop near me, these women are 😍
The second dress was perfect
thanks
I loved the purple dress on her - maybe if it came in white or ivory she would have picked it? I don't like the off the shoulder straps, but if they were on the shoulder, I think they'd look amazing. I really love the dress she picked in the end. It looks great.
She'd look better in any of them if she stood up straight.
Hello my lady
The blush dress was lovely
I feel crazy, she looked great in all of them.
I don’t think she was rude at all! She’s shopping for what she wants and just said her opinion. It was nothing rude to the shopkeepers. She was just candid about the dresses.
Love these ladies.
Love the Pink dress on her!
She should think twice before making rude comments.
Last dress is same shape as first one ? Except shiny ! But she loves it .
I’m glad I’m not the only one that noticed that too. It was the same shape as the first one. 🤷🏻♀️
IMO, the first dress that she dismissed so quickly actually looked better on her than the one she chose. But if she's happy that's all that matters.
First one was the best
Ironically the 1st one is the one that looked the best on her. Just sayin.
