-Installation Tips-
•Ideal application temperature range is between 70º to 80º F (21º to 27º C).
•When possible, turn on your lights to help increase the surface temperature.
•Surfaces must be clean and dry prior to application.
•When removing precut smoked tint pieces from the backing it is best to continuously spray both sides of the film with an application fluid such as Rapid Tac or a 10:1 water to mild soap solution to prevent premature adhesion of the kit to itself.
•Clean your areas thoroughly with a solution such as Rapid Prep.
•Use masking tape to test for adhesion.
•If masking tape curls up and falls off you need to continue cleaning.
•Do not apply during periods of high relative humidity (i.e., when it’s raining).
•Do not bend vinyl film back and forth as this causes the adhesive to wrinkle when applying.

You guys are dope!
This product is the best I always get it for my Audi or my Lexus believe it or not I used to buy some crap online it was all horrible this is very high-quality and it’s just amazing speaking from experience
Looks . Cool . I'm gonna order for my 300m
Picked the easiest shaped light lol
Well, this is one of our cars. I guess we lucked out that it was easy.
Let’s see the Xt5 cadillac
@@anthonyciarrocca2476 LOL I just clicked on this video to see. Yep. Flat tails.... and I have an ATS coupe. M'eh..... I'll just take it to a window tint shop, let them deal with it.
“Picked the easiest” - yeah and picked the hardest place to do an install, outdoors in the wind hahahaha
Do you make a tail light tint kit for 2017 Toyota Tundra
Yes we make a precut kit for the Tundra, this includes a bonus third brake light tint and you can see it at this link: www.rvinyl.com/Toyota-Tundra-2007-2013-Tail-Light-Tint.html
Is this legal anywhere in the U.S.? What's the average ticket price for a tinted brake light? Is it possible to get your insurance coverage through ANY carrier if someone rear-ends you while you had tinted brake lights? I know it is not possible with State Farm or USAA coverage. Rear-ending being such an established at-fault scenario, going out of your way to undo your established legal and financial protections there seems... risky. I work for State Farm, and doubt you could get your benefits from ANY insurer if you blacked out (even 'partially', nobody cares 'smoked' vs totally black. There's a clear stigma against tinted ANYTHING with police, judiciaries, and insurers) your braking indicators... Seems like an easy case to deny in full due to:
-Failure to maintain required vehicle safety equipment
And/or
-non-compliant brake lights
And/or
-Driving with illegal vehicle modifications
And/or
-Operating an unsafe vehicle
And/or
-Illegal altercation of safety equipment
And/or
-Non-compliance due to unapproved modifications
And/or
-DOT violations & regulations which I don't even know
And/or
-Neglect of duty of care
Any ONE of those is a slam-dunk against you in the courtroom, with your own insurance coverage you pay for, and with the police. I can't imagine any other driver would do anything but pursue you to the fullest extent of the law because they didn't know you were braking because you chose to have black brake lights where your vehicle (model) has red brake lights, like every other vehicle...
I purchased the precut kit for my Porsche Panamera and the size is too small. Do you sell larger sizes?
Precut kits can be tricky to install and as long as the correct kit was purchased they should not be "too small." Depending on the light, a small amount of stretching maybe necessary. Please contact our customer service team here: www.rvinyl.com/Contact
I had same problem
Do the taillights still emit light from the oustide during nightime or even brake lights ?
The video shows this at the end.
Do you make this in white for white audi Q7s?
Are you looking for white taillight tint? We do not currently make these as they would block the light.
When you clean the light do you need to spray it again to put the tent on
Yes, we do find that it makes repositioning the film easier. Spray the light, align the film, squeegee it down in one area and then continue to work the film into place with heat if necessary. Much of this will depend on the vehicle you are trying to tint.
Probably easier inside a garage than outdoors in the wind and dirt
It sure is! You can find a more detailed garage install here: ruclips.net/video/CDa6lf7Rovg/видео.html
Do you make taillights kits for 2018 Mercedes’ E400 coupe?
Yes! We do offer one here: www.rvinyl.com/Mercedes-Benz-E-Class-2018-2020-Tail-Light-Tint
Is that tint smoke or dark smoke ?
That is our Blackout film.
@@Rvinyl I have a 91 Bonneville SSE. Its the sport version with taillights that have at least 20 lines running horizontally. The taillights are the only bad thing on this low mileage car. The factory vacuum fused the black assembly to the outer lense and it delaminates over time. Im trying to determine if I should cut out each individual vinyl line with xacto knife or just cover the whole taillight. Do you have a CAD layout of this taillight where it could be laser cut with all these lines in the sheet? Ive been seeing other owners ask what can be done to restore their lights. Here's a representative sample neo-drive.com/images/1991-pontiac-bonneville-5.jpg
@@seanr2305 we would recommend covering the whole assembly because even if we cut it to fit the sections there's no guarantee it wouldn't be stretched put f size during installation. Please let us know if that answers your question and if there is anything else we can do for you. Thanks!
What happens if you dont heat it?
It is just stiffer and you have to do more physical pulling.
Waaaaay harder then it looks
Installation can be difficult, it really depends on the model. We have an updated video here with new tips and tricks to make your install that much easier: ruclips.net/video/0q9S7qrwEsE/видео.html
Yea I done tore two to tints I gave up
What solution did you spray on, to reposition? How long until it can be wet, ie rain/car wash?
We usually recomend Rapid Tac products. www.rvinyl.com/Rapid-Tac-Solutions
After installation, its a good idea to wait about 24 hours for a good bond. You can take it through a car wash, but we do not recomend direct power washing.
Are these tints legal ?
Clear films maybe legal, tinted films are recommended for off-road show car use only. Please check your state or local laws before application.
If you’re worried about that you should not fucking by this your Moron
