- I spent two weeks in BGC during my holiday vacation in the Philippines last December. It's a great place to be at if you're someone who loves walking and people watching. LOL. Let me tour you around BGC High Street, undoubtedly the most popular spot in this bustling community.

You can also check out the Manila-American cemetery in GBC taguig for some beautiful, historical site if ever you're in the area again in the future, not sure where you are now but I hope you stay in the Philippines bec it's got a lot to see. By the way, you're so cute and handsome, I love your cute, nice eyes, too and I'm a guy but can't help fall in love with your cuteness. hehe. You seem mysterious and pleasant, too. BGC is not in Manila. It's in Taguig -- a city on its own 2X the size of Manila.
Stop assuming you are in Manila just because you are walking on concrete.
If you can't rid your habit of calling everything "Manila", then at least say "Metro Manila" so you can be approximate instead of plain wrong.

IT IS widely acceptable to call NCR as Manila. Heck, no one outside of the Philippine calls it Metro(politan) Manila. It is a designated term for the whole Metro.
Now, if the video is titled; Manila City walking tour, then you can definitely argue the semantics.

That is not true. First, we have laws that define these terms that have been promulgated many decades ago. You can say what you want but you will still be wrong.
Read the papers. Listen to the news. NO ONE calls the region simply as "Manila" unless they are referring to that small city at the western edge of the region. NO ONE. Always, it is "METRO Manila". You want proof? Browse articles about the recent territorial dispute between Taguig and Makati. Does any of these reputable news articles mention "Manila". No, they don't and they never will precisely because Taguig and Makati are cities on their own and their dispute is NONE of Manila's business. The only time you will see "Manila in these articles is when the case reached the Supreme Court but that is only because the SC is physically located in Manila.
Do you own or lease properties in BGC? What does your lease contract say? Hint: It is NOT in Manila. It's in Taguig.
Have you been to BGC like this bloke in the video? Have you read the street signs or observed the logos on the public installations or police uniforms / cars patrolling the area? Does it say "Manila" ? No, they don't. Precisely because BGC is NOT in Manila. It's in Taguig.
