नमस्ते दोस्तों! आरोही और आव्या के गार्डन में आपका स्वागत है! आज हम सीखेंगे कि चंपा (प्लूमेरिया) पौधे को कटिंग से कैसे उगाया जाए। यह तरीका बहुत ही सरल और प्रभावी है। तो चलिए शुरू करते हैं!
[Step 1: एक स्वस्थ कटिंग चुनना]
सबसे पहले, एक स्वस्थ चंपा की शाखा चुनें। यह लगभग 12-18 इंच लंबी होनी चाहिए और इसमें कुछ स्वस्थ पत्ते होने चाहिए। एक साफ और तेज चाकू या प्रूनिंग शीयर से, नोड के नीचे से एक साफ कट लगाएं।
[Step 2: कटिंग की तैयारी]
कटिंग के निचले हिस्से से सभी पत्ते हटा दें। इससे कटिंग अपनी ऊर्जा जड़ों के विकास पर केंद्रित कर सकेगी। कटिंग को कुछ दिनों के लिए सूखने और कैलस बनने के लिए छोड़ दें। यह कदम सड़न से बचने के लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।

Hi everyone! Welcome back to Aarohi and Aavya's gardening channel. Today, I'm going to show you how to grow a beautiful Champa plant, also known as Plumeria, from cuttings. This method is simple and effective, and soon you'll have your own Champa plant blooming in your garden. Let's get started!
[Step 1: Selecting a Healthy Cutting]
First, choose a healthy Champa branch for the cutting. Make sure it's about 12-18 inches long and has at least a few healthy leaves. Using a clean, sharp knife or pruning shears, make a clean cut just below a node.
[Step 2: Preparing the Cutting]
Remove any leaves from the lower half of the cutting. This will help the cutting focus its energy on root development. Allow the cutting to dry and callous over for a few days. This step is crucial to prevent rot.
[Step 3: Preparing the Pot and Soil]
Choose a pot with good drainage and fill it with well-draining soil. A mix of cactus soil or a combination of garden soil, sand, and perlite works well. This will help ensure the cutting does not get waterlogged.
[Step 4: Planting the Cutting]
Once the cutting has calloused, plant it about 2-3 inches deep in the soil. Press the soil gently around the base to provide support. Water the soil lightly to settle it, but be careful not to overwater.
[Step 5: Placement and Care
Place the pot in a warm, sunny location where it can get plenty of indirect sunlight. Water sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can cause the cutting to rot.
[Step 6: Monitoring Growth]
In a few weeks, you should start to see new leaves emerging, indicating that roots are developing. Continue to provide bright, indirect light and water sparingly.
