4x10 wheels (4x10x18) are on 18" tires. 4x8 wheels (4x8x16) are on 16" tires. The tires are 2" taller overall, but the difference in tractor ground clearance is only 1". (Center of 16" tire is 8" off ground, while center of 18" tire is 9" off ground.)

I admire how these machines were designed for advantageous function...almost as if all the 'little tricks' have evolved but designed from the start

The worst thing are tyres valve innthe wrong position after reverse and expanding the weel width but not so bad
Are the 4 x 10 wheels 2 inches taller than the 4 x 8 wheels?

I wanted to narrow up the wheel base on our 722 but couldn't do it because the tire would hit the transmission shifting lever.
Did you flip the inner dishes and then switch the sides that the wheels are installed on?
@@BCSAmerica Yes, did that and it gets just a little bit too close to the transmission shift lever

How do in prevent the tyres from slipping on the hubs?
Sorry, you'll have to be more specific. How would the tires slip on the hubs?
@@BCSAmerica I have a twin wheel set up I can see that the tyres slip on the hubs! Maybe the tubes aren't holding air or something?
