Grab some popcorn and belt yourself in for Money Game 3 also shot by Samuel Perry-Falvey albeit this time with a much bigger budget than MG1 and earned Ren and Samuel Perry-Falvey Winners 'Best European Independent Music Video 2024' (ECU 2024).
As a filmmaker, you might appreciate knowing this. Money Game 3 was the largest budget Ren ever had for a video. Also, it has won at least 2 International awards. I am not afraid to hype it up, lol. And to answer your question, Ren was part of a band, The Big Push, and one of the members, Romain Axisa was playing the guitar in Money Game 1. Any time you want to react to The Big Push, I highly recommend anything!
He was calling out himself in Hi Ren for ripping of the nursery rhyme in this. This came before Hi Ren. Also, check out Chalk Outlines and How To Be Me, both live, both duets with Chinchilla. She is about to become her own star, 1:5 is her latest.
Ren gave us a little history lesson in part one and here’s the economics class. It takes a very clever and flexible mind to break down a complex topic in a way that everyone can understand it. To then do it using a well known nursery rhyme? And in the form of rap? Ren is a genius.
Some history on the second part: In the 19th century a British man named Marcus Samuel started trading novelty music-boxes with inlaid exotic sea-shells in them. When he died, his sons expanded into trading oil and thus the multinational oil-company Shell PLC was formed.
Consider doing the trilogy, The Tales of Jenny and Screech (and Violet) next. There’s a 13 minute video that includes all three songs in the proper order. Each video is a one take and it’s like a Shakespearean tragedy meets O Henry meets the color purple (if it took place in the 21st century on the streets of London). Or maybe it’s Jack the Ripper meets werewolves of London. I don’t know, just check it out
Please check out the song “Crutch” and all his older music. They are also fantastic. The Big Push, the band Ren was in are amazing. All of Ren’s music is 🔥🔥. Great reaction and MG3 is a masterpiece. The Tale of Jenny and Screech and Violet is special.
Hey Xygah, I'm not going to be dropping bars like Ren (did you catch the misspellings? 'Featrued' 'Corperation' 'Philosphy' 'Turth' Gotta use spell checker before posting!). But I've got something true to share, and it's not that Shell Oil started out selling sea shells, which is referenced in the video (and called back to in Hi Ren). It's that the core of the money game is one most don't know, who gets to make it, and who they allow to use it. - - - - - One myth is that money is from our taxes, nope, wrong. Our taxes aren't pooled and spent on things, that is a myth, also that we spend, get the bill and then tax for it. Banks also do not take in deposits and make loans from those deposits. What we do is 'borrow' from a private corporation, the 'Federal Reserve' that is owned 70% by Citibank and JP Morgan Chase, money they create just by keystroke. Every bit of it is a debt to be repaid, with interest, which means you have work off that debt, to enrich bankers who simply pushed numbers on a keyboard. Member banks take very low cost loans from the Fed and use the trick of 'Fractional Reserve' to multiply this at a whim by 30x, 60x, and some at the time of the 2008 crisis, 100x. Every loan is booked as an asset, which they can then inflate again by fractional reserve, even loans between banks, so they can 'round robin' loans to invent more money. Worse, the money supply, which should be sovereign to the people, doesn't go to loans to you or your main street, it is mostly given to the very wealthy at very low rates for them to invest in financial instruments that control most of the assets of the country which wind up extracting wealth from you in the form of 'rents.' Money can, and has been created by governments as a sovereign power, debt free, and spent directly on the needs of the people as the 'First Use' of the introduction of money, not as private banker loans to elites or the government as debt. We could make the money we need to provide equal school funding nationally and eliminate the burden of property taxes for that purpose. We could pay for national healthcare. Choose your underfunded program that provides for the 'Common Welfare.' A 'Green New Deal' moonshot to halt the climate crisis, which everyone says 'where are you going to get the money?' Ignoring that climate disasters have already cost 18% of productivity and it will eat 100% of global GDP way before the end of the century. The money created as supply flows there first, then out to the economy. Not to enable oligarchs to acquire everything and charge you rent on it. Taxes are then the drain to the tap, used to counter excessive incomes or wealth accumulations that promote inequality and threats to democracy by oligarchic wealth. The monetary system we have now is the true 'trickle down economics,' what little money supply isn't used by the elite to acquire assets to drain wealth from the have littles and have nots, gets to you in high rate loans on keystroke created money. You pay back something, for their effort of nothing. We have more needs than we can finance by debt issued money, the climate crisis is existential and we're out of time. We'll have to find the money somehow, and maybe rather than cut programs and raise taxes, we take back money sovereignty. Debt Free Public Money is the only way to save ourselves, it also repairs the record inequality and with it the risk it poses to democracy. Save the planet, save democracy, a better life for all. Seems like a few good reasons to learn more about it and make the change. That's the Money Game we can no longer afford to play.
Suggestion. After you pause to comment jump back a few seconds on the video so you don’t miss anything. With a Mac you can set the duration of rewind the back arrow will do. My 2 cents. Otherwise, great stuff. I subscribed!

I can’t wait to watch it!! Coming soon! 😁
The Big Push are fantastic
This song had already gone viral before Hi Ren. So dark Ren was referencing his own song in Hi Ren
The tale of Jenny and screech is a masterpiece. You have to watch it all in one go though. Whatever you do don’t split it into separate videos.
'Money Game 3' Prepare to be shocked. Then check out the 'Tale of Jenny and Screech (full)'
He was calling out himself in Hi Ren for ripping of the nursery rhyme in this. This came before Hi Ren.
Also, check out Chalk Outlines and How To Be Me, both live, both duets with Chinchilla.
She is about to become her own star, 1:5 is her latest.
That’s good to know! I’ll check it out!
Definitely the live version of 1:5
Since you’re filmmaker, you are going to actually love money game part three I believe.
If you like this... you'll enjoy his "Crucify your Culture" !!

If you want some background on Ren...watch his story first hand in 8 chapters on his RenNotRen channel, rather than Chinese whispers.
