Lovely car. Questin: why change the wheels when you could have ordered the magnesium wheels ? Same with roll cage ?. that interior noise must sound superb. What did you change on the indicator light ? i see the orange glass / clear glass...is that an option?
In the states, the roll cage wasn't an option unfortunately. I wish it was. Indicator went from orange to clear - which is an option but was done at the dealer for some reason. I think it had to do with DOT regulations. The magnesium wheels were 16k - and still 20". The idea was to get smaller wheels custom made so I could get more rubber and more grip - however I may be pivoting from that plan. Tires are crazy expensive and debating how "all-in" I want to go on making this my dedicated track car.

I live in the states and opted for a "European Delivery" where I flew over and took delivery of the car in Leipzig Germany. We were able to drive a GT4RS on track and see the car etc. Then it had to be shipped over, which took a long time.
I can tell you straight out what size tires you can fit and can't based on experience with a GT4 and GT3. On a 19in wheel you can fit a 275/30/19 (with a standard 200tw tire) and a 295/30/19 Hoosier A7/R7 depending on what you are doing with the car.
This is what we came back with after the scan. A couple of 4RS tire options. You will want to run track alignment with either of these- Hankook Slicks: 250/650/19 300/680/19 Hoosier: 265/35/19 295/35/19 Debating on just running Sport Cup2R though so I can just drive to and from the track and not deal with all the other stuff. I live in San Antonio and the track is in Austin.

Everything. I am doing a mix of the gloss ppf on all the carbon bits and expel stealth on all the black. What would you suggest?
I'm headed up to Austin now actually to pick it up from Finspeed then it is off to paint correction and PPF so I need to decide before tomorrow!
