- Are you in London on Thursday 5th May? Can you come to my party? I'll be signing copies of my book The Cake Book as well as generally just hanging out to meet you all. There will be cake and pop and lots of wicked things going on in the area around the shop as well. Fun!

Aw I met Jemma last Wednesday as she just happened to be in Crumbs and Doilies when I popped in for my cupcake fix :D Made a total idiot out of myself because I was so nervous ha ha, but she was so lovely! Didn't even know she had a book?! Where have I been, deffo need to check that out!

I am sorry I cannot make it! I would like to be there but being in Canada does present some problems to attendance! (Ontario just a tinny bit, a very very small bit, north of Toronto).
I still see myself going in your shop and saying "Hi, is Ms. Jemma in?" Only too be answered by strange looks! The alternative I see is "Hi, is Cupcake in?" and promptly being beaten into a grease spot by your staff or being answered with many raised hands with the people connected to them all saying "Yes I am here! Who the ........ are you?" and followed quickly by "Would you like to buy/have/try today's special?" They are your staff so I will let you decide which is most likely.
