I'm just now reviewing this video most of the previous comments are three years old however, I began watching TBN when I was 31 at the beginning of the 1990's. I just turned sixty and sadly have watched them change tremendously over the last thirty years. TBN has been under controversy and reproach for sometime. When I first began viewing TBN I could turn the network on and the word was coming forth regardless of the messenger; now they have become more a talk show music format little word. It makes my heart sad, very sad. I"m shocked how much the world has changed in the last two years and since Covid. Do not compromise. God deserves our love, loyalty and faithfulness. God enrichly bless you. Also, in Nehemiah there is a description of a man who is approached they want him to make compromises and concessions. They want to distract him from building the wall meet then here there for consultation regarding a problem that does not exist. It is prior to the tenth chapter in Nehemiah. How your being ask to compromise is no different than what was attempted with him. Stand your ground if you do not who will?
Many Blessings to you both. We just came upon this tonight (2018) but had stopped watching TBN (around 2012-13)...along w/some of the other "seeker friendly & prosperity doctrine stations". We do like some of the contemporary songs as we come out of the music business as professionals & teachers and know it's about the biblical message - however, we were being jolted by all the "hipster night clubish, latte' stand " images showing up in churches along w/social gospel -psychology. This replacing TRUTH: the blood, cross, sin & repentance in services. We may not have always agreed on everythig but your foundations are rock solid Christian truth. The message of Christ's CROSS cannot be replaced by any human efforts or homogenizing His WORD in efforts to appeal to the world. I'll poke around to see what stations you are on & are always blessed by Rexela's soft spirit in Christ as well as your firm messages. Oddly enough, we fell upon SBN which we'd not watched after the 'fall' of Swaggert's ministry. However, many of of us around our 70's have SBN's Worship on thru out the day now at home, as the old Hymns and roots of man's need to cling to the cross of Calvery are consistant. The beauty in this is in the reality of God's forgiveness to us all as sinners...& that even though some may mock Swaggert yrs after his sin...the Lord restored this broken Christian to the simplicity of God's message. That: Jesus paid it all, all to HIM I owe. We cannot add one inch to the Cross w/our filthy rags works. Anyway...many older saints are going thru this same thing you speak of here...that the church is apostatizing & we must stay close to JESUS & be in season to the fundamentals...no matter what "religions" are doing in these global unifications.
