Can someone please give me a link to a video that explains how to build a home theater sub? Like I am new to this and having a hell of a time of finding info on helping me pick a sub, getting the right type of box and why it needs to be that size and how to tune it. I don't understand why there isn't any easily accessible videos on this basic starting point for anyone that wants to jump into DIYing subs. I keep finding these stupid buildings codes like these that just has them building the sub and not explaining why they picked the sub or why they are making it with this size box or tuning.

Yet still trying to understand said box for a specific sub is still kind of a Mistry to me. But my original comment still stands. Why is there no videos on someone who literally just breaks down? Okay so we're going to pick this sub because we want this type of base at this frequency, and we are going to build a ported box to tune to 35hrz.
@@jamescox5638 bro just find a speaker you like and compatible amp and use an online calculator to get a starting point for ported or closed cabinet them fine tune everything in WinISD. It's important to not exceed the xmax of the driver and keep an eye out for port air velocity. ToidsDIYAudio has helpful videos
