I have lots of pennies that I have been going through and I've learned from watching your show how to check coins to see if they are copper or zinc and I have found 2 1982small date copper pennies which as soon as I can I'm going to have them graded
I have some 1983 that don't have scratches or dents on them but some have a tiny bet dark tarnish So they're meant stating. I still have low tarnish on them. Does that mean that they're not worth keeping? As far as the money value of them. And these that are worth this kind of money are they copper or zink ?
In the quest for finding those three and four digit one cent pieces, don't forget about the multitude of two or $3 pieces you're bound to come across. Getting a dollar for a penny is pretty good gnees in my opinion.
Well I hate to say it, but this is one coin that I’m confused about and i have a few of them, I have a1992 small date and 92large date and they both Waugh 3.1g . So I decided join P.C.G.S . I received my membership all good , i looked at it I put it aside not knowing I only had a year to respond , so time went on and i had health problems the year went by . So I called them up and told what had happened , but someone told me that the year was up and they were sorry. Wow what a big lost , I fill they could have given me maybe four fee grading s instead of eight . Or at least thank me for the great free lunch right .So guess I’ll have to rejoin them or another grading company . Well that’s my story with this 1982 penny .

ecvdub07 sir or mam its not just any penny you find it's got to be verified valuable coin then you have to send to PCGS mint refurbisher to clean it and grade at mint state it from MS 60 to 70. And they put in valuable case to prepare for auction. And you start at opening price and they auction it off.

Lot 4 1958 pennies, 3 with no mint marks and 1 with a “d” on the obverse The 1958 with a little gloss left is clearly a “DDO on the DATE and on the reverse , the letters “ONE CENT” is much thicker than normal. The 1958 penny that sold for over a million dollars in January of this year, was probably normal because if it was thicker than normal the auction house would have noted and displayed it. I would say that the condition of these pennies are at least fine/extra fine and -as mentioned one retains a little of of its original gloss. Starting bid: $1,500
Hi, No luck, but still looking here in N. Mich. It's hard for me my husband complains anytime I try to search coins. He thinks it's a waste of time and we end up arguing over it. I can't even talk about coins, he says he is so sick of me talking about coins. All I can say if I find something he wont reap the rewards. I just wish that he would enjoy coins as much as I do. That's why I like the coin community. People with the same interest as me.

While watching this video it occurred to me that out of all the boxes of pennies I've gotten from the bank and then returned I remember seeing several 80's pennies that I almost kept because of the high MS state but thought "nah no one would be interested in these zinc pennies" .... Now I'm like oh well can't undo the past but I won't make that mistake again haha

I am Sandra Pressley I wrote you a few times asking for an answer to what a set of Lincoln Formative years are worth. I have an Indian Penny on line 1904.PCGS said it has environmental damage. I disagree it looks ice to me. You’ll have to take a look at all of them. I also have a1921Silver dollar PCGS said it had been cleaned, but I had it 64 years and it was never out of my locked box, I got it when I was 13.Not a soul has touched it. I disagree that it was ever cleaned. Please answer my questions.

I have a 1968 no mint mark dime!! I’m 72 years old and can’t figure out if it’s worth anything! It has some wear but I think it looks great for a circulated coin. I might be wrong but I think it has a DDR on the one cent and Actually the bands though faded still show. Please tell me what you think.
