My Experience Playing XDefiant Now After Playing the Beta 10 Months Ago

Today I'm looking at the new free to play first person shooter Xdefiant. Or I would be, but I feel like I've done this one before.

I played the game for maybe a week when it released, aaaand I haven’t played it since. The gameplay itself is pretty fun, but I totally agree with you about there not really being anything too special about it. I could play pretty much any shooter game and get a similar experience. I’d like to see what it has in store in the future though!

Great review Trollisms! I sorta wish Ubisoft would stop trying to compete in this sort of multiplayer FPS space outside of Rainbow Six Siege. I can't help but watch this and feel it's very... Ubisoft-y. Maybe it's the visual elements, maybe it's because it feels like it doesn't need to exist in this bloated market. But it feels like a product no-one asked for. Or maybe it's the lack of X-factor! But this was quite insightful!

It was okay, the netcode reminded me of old cod, in a bad way. So I put it down. I haven't been a cod fan since black ops 3 and I'm perfectly fine with that. I feel like I'm too old for competitive shooters anyway.

for me the lack of eomm makes it all worth it, would i rather play a game that is fun but lacking in content than a game chalk full of content but gives me instant regret.
