Almost anything is better than the ultimax for run and gun! If you go to the L86 from that you'll notice the ttk difference for sure as it's joint slowest in the game
Also its wise to point out its the fastest moving support gun par the fal so it can compensate for the exo penalty Besides if u use the urk and quick mag its 2.9 reload which is crazy
Yes, this gun is so underrated. When I play support and I'm not forced to use other weapons for challenges, the L86A1 is my go to. Super consistent recoil even on higher horizontal values while still having great ttk. This gun existing legit made me go "why give support LMGs at all when they're outclassed by the L86
defo agreed, lends itself to many ranges and is overall quite good. also my favourite gun, already have 6k kills with it it was even better before the attachment change update, that long barrel 3 shot ttk was amazing :(
The gun would be S tier if not for the movespeed being slow, in a game that caters to high mobility if you want high KPM (having made the MP7 guide and my next being the UMP-45, I'm beginning to understand movespeed's power more now).
Just stumbled upon this video/your channel. Love to see it, L86 is my most used weapon in the game, I've got just a hair over 3400 kills with it now, I try so hard to use other weapons/different classes but I find if I'm just having a shit game I'll revert back to my L86, turn the game around & end with a 2.0± kdr. If you want a downright disgusting setup for this weapon, use the quick mag, Urk grip, VAMB Barrel, 1.0x sight of choice, this will give you a sub 3 second reload time, vert recoil of 0.91, First shot 1.2 & iirc horizontal will be around 1.14 with this setup, absolute laser. My personal favorite setup though is the exact same but swap the VAMB Barrel for a long suppressor, the extra vertical recoil in this setup I find actually very helpful for getting headshots at mid/long range. Aim for the chest, tap a 3-5 round burst & ease up on your recoil control, pretty well a headshot kill everytime. Great vid man, glad to see the L86 get some well deserved spotlight.
Thanks! I'll give these loadouts a try, though I think you meant short suppressor as the long is the one that messes up your horizontal recoil. Didn't consider the URK as generally I wanted less horizontal recoil for accuracy - but I will give it a try!
that flick at 3:17 was dirty, i really enjoy your content after finding you a month ago btw, hope you keep it up and if you feel like it (and have time) branch out to other games if you feel like it and play any worth making videos on :D I'd be interested in seeing more stuff from you anyways
Definitely, battlebit was originally just a game I'd play a little on the side but all the positive reception has increased the amount I'm playing and enjoying it. I've got backlog of ideas but when the time comes, I'll definitely be uploading some other FPS titles here too!
The RPK sounds like it's been ripped from a different game lol, personally my faves are the groza and the r700 (it's a shame r700 isn't currently the meta sniper)!
I used to main the M249 on support. Since prestiging I stuck with the L86 and I just can't enjoy any other support weapon at the moment. Having spent a lot of time on range with the LSW in real life it's also the closest I'll get to firearms nostalgia in the game 😂
Nice, that's what happened to me too, I prestiged and said "might as well make a guide for the L86" and I was very impressed with the performance it put out! Cool ancedote about using LSW's IRL too 😊
I'd imagine somewhere on the dev's todo list is proper controller support and eventually a console port - it should run like a dream on the consoles given how well it works on PC!

I'd prob just suggest to use the RPK if you wanted a similar, but larger mag gun to avoid it's penalties. That said, 30 rounds is perfectly fine to use for multikills

I got used to using the track pad on the Steam Deck but to run and gun I need thumb stick support

Maybe, when you hit a big milestone like 500 or 1k subs. You could make a discord server. idk.
If there's enough interest, sure. Can also then play with the community. For now I'm prob a bit small for that, (most subs prob won't join it)
