If you operate the machine how its intended to be used its pretty hard to tear up a belt but things do happen. Anytime playing around on hills or crawling around always be in low range. Being in high range when you should be in low range is what tears belts up. Glad this video was helpful for you, that is the objective with this series.
Have you checked to ensure you have the correct belt? You may need to give your CanAm dealer a call for troubleshooting assistance if the belt is not the issue.

Don't think there is a 2017 maverick trail . Came out in 2018 pretty sure
