If you want a 1000 just so you can pull on a car on the highway then you are riding a Sportbike for the wrong reasons. These things are made to ride the twisties and in the twisties a 600 will keep up with a 1000 for the most part. The excitement they comes from seeing 100mph plus while leaned over going through a sweeper is what sportbikes are all about.

Most bikes accel faster than most cars. And 90% of riders can't ride their bike to its limit. It's easier to find a cars limit.

A top speed comparison will always go to a car. On a bike your top speed is limited because of the rider and wind. The rider has to keep the bike stable going over 150mph, and that's no easy feat.

I'm curious what is the top speed of your R6 according to the speedometer? My GSXR 600 shows 270-275 (depending on the wind/road), but actual GPS measurements are 245-250.
My old gixxer K6 goes up to 296kph on the speedo, but GPS shows 271 kph at that speed. But mine is modified, on the dynojet it produces 133.8 bhp. Originally it had 115hp without RAM-air and 125hp with RAM-air. So, I think your about right. An original gixxer 600 without mods will probably do between 250 and 260 GPS measured. But conditions can vary. On a straight road without bumps and a little tailwind, it can easily make a 10kph difference. On my old gixxer tucking in my head and body behind the windscreen made almost 15kph difference in topspeed compared to riding with my head and shoulders above the windscreen

Ohman ist das ein abgekarteter Schmarrn. 3 Typen mieten sich bei Sixt nen M4 und tun so als hätten sie sich noch nie gesehen. Die Aufnahmen sind trotzdem irgendwie krass.
Hatte auch mal eine RJ05 und mir ist genau das gleiche Verkleidungsteil auch mal bei ner Tour abgeflogen. Bei mir war allerdings nichts gebrochen, sondern ich hatte vergessen, eine von den Plastiklaschen wieder einzustecken beim zusammenbauen :D PS. Warum verpixelt ihr das Gesicht des Fahrers aber nicht sein Kennzeichen?

Hmmm, vielleicht hatten auch nur meine zwei Astra F und G solche Probleme, dass z.B. beim G die halbe Frontschürze auf einmal vor meiner Scheibe hing als ich mit 200 über einen kleinen Huckel auf der Autobahn gefahren bin. Gibt natürlich noch schlimmere Autos und so schlecht war/ist Opel ja auch nich. Drücke dir die Daumen, dass du auch weiterhin von solchen Problemen verschont wirst :)

LeoGurr its not about the price both car and motorcycle and car are at top end. Car are more expensive because it has more stuff,protection,technologies on it while the motorcycle has like 1/3 of the weight and component.more stuff more expensive, less stuff less expensive.

From 0-160 the r6 is faster, but the m4 has a higher top end speed. Both are wicked fast tho

+MaxM Der ist von Sixt! M EJ ist Zulassungskreis von Sixt, dazu noch die Umweltplakette auf der Fahrerseite, da gibts nix zu diskutieren.
heute wenigstens mit ner RJ11 oder RJ15... bei knapp 260 geht der Rj09 doch die puste aus.... aber sehr gut aufgenommen!! Top

LeoGurr its not about the price both car and motorcycle and car are at top end. Car are more expensive because it has more stuff,protection,technologies on it while the motorcycle has like 1/3 of the weight and component.more stuff more expensive, less stuff less expensive.

If you look at 1:40 the bmw has 3 power levels and its only on 2 as you see next to the number 4 on the speedometer

Der M4 ist schon ne Ansage da wirds obenrum mit der 600er schon schwierig.
Da wäre ne R1 mit Big Bang Motor schon entspannter da würde der M4 gar kein Land sehen :D
Nur mal so am Rande: Die Geschwindigkeiten sind wie ins Video übernommen worden? ch hoffe mal nicht mit GPS...dann würd ich die mal schnell überprüfen lassen :D So ab 2:45 ist der BMW in der Anzeige 7-8km/h langsamer als die R6...holt aber auf? :D
