Thank you for the advice. My husband and I bought two kayaks. Unfortunately he passed before we got to use them and I thought about going out but it’s very scary doing this on your own so I haven’t got the nerve to do it yet but hopefully soon.
When Sharon first got hers, she took it out in a city park. She knew there would be people around if she got in trouble. Now, she takes it out in the coves of some big lakes. We will pray for you as you deal with your grief. It's never easy to lose those we love. 🙏
Thank you! This is so helpful- I haven't fished in YEARS, but I've been wanting to learn how to fish from my kayak. This gives me a better idea of what I'll need.
Thank you for these awesome reviews. Wish you had affiliate link to help your channel when I decide to buy a couple of these and the Coleman camp chair upgrade! Safe and fun travels!
We do appreciate your very kind words. We may eventually reach out to Tucktec, but for right now we're happy just to inform others about the great kayaks that are available.
What a great set up Sharon you look so great in it! It looks like so much fun. Those are all such great ideas.those are some very nice sized fish. So I've never fished for croppy,do u eat them and if so how do you cook them?
Crappy are definitely edible. Like everything else, they are best southern fried in cornmeal. We usually either cook them on the grill or blacken them.
Since Sharon bought hers they've made some modifications. You might want to visit the Official Tucktec Folding Kayak Community on Facebook, and read some of the comments. Some people are complaining about the '23 design. If you have questions, call Tucktec. You talk with a real person who will answer any questions.
Good morning! Thanks for the video! My brother and I are getting ready to do a big trip to Utah then Wyoming this month. Might see a new channel with my real name - will let you know!
You could probably repurpous a shoulder strap from something else and attach it to the milk crate. Tucktec on one shoulder and crate on the other and you could make a single trip. wont add significant weight or really interfear with placement but could let you free up your hands while transporting it.
@@MrDrOpossum First, I sincerely apologize for taking so long to respond to your comment. I don't know why I didn't see it when you first posted it. Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment. We do appreciate it.
Great setup I also have a tucktec and it’s great but I want to add an Anker. It would be great if you can share the link of the clippers that you have attached to the kayak.
Sharon loves using Doc Demon reals. They are very inexpensive, and she's caught some nice size fish with it. She also uses a small Shakespeare with an open face reel.
Very informative video ❤❤❤
Thank you, Julie. We always love hearing from you.

@@andyshin6057 She got some of the plastic clamps at Amazon and some at Home Depot.
Thank you!
If you liked that one, I hope you will see the one that went up today.
Thanks so much! Didn’t catch the type of fishing poles you use. Mind sharing that information?

Can you take it out in coldish weather
Yes. It was in the 30s yesterday, and Sharon was out in it. Wind is about the only thing that keeps her from taking it out.
