Tecno stated on their official RUclips channel they'll provide 2 Major OS update and 3 years of security patches which is standard and decent enough for the most Affordable Foldable phone
I use the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and a Tecno Camon 20 Pro. Whilst the Fold 5 is clearly the more premium phone, I absolutely love the user experience of the Tecno Camon 20 Pro's OS and wish I could've experienced the Phantom V Fold's UI too.

As a gamer , After 1 year of using the high spec Red Magic 8, I realized I don't really need that much spec just to game smoothly...and get frustrated of the minimalist space to multitask more freely on a normal screen ratio phone , so imma get the Tecno phantom Soon
The Phantom V fold is about 50K Php while the Samsung Fold 5 is roughly 63K Php..if you have the budget, go for Samsung. Worht investing compared to Tecno
Samsung's first 4 foldable phones aren't even comparable to Tecno's first. If Tecno improves the initial feedback on this first one, its Gen2 will surely trump Samsung's awkwardly shaped Fold 5. Some are just after the status symbol a brand name brings.
