Dan's hit the nail on the head with is rifle. I have the .22 version and yes, it is heavy, but what a great rifle. I highly recommend this beauty, you'll not regret it.
hi dan very good review i have just bought one love it very accurate i am using crosman premiers in 22 yes its heavy but i have put it on a bipod. keep up the good work .
A friend of ours needed a scope for his Impact X .30 he bought from hubby and I and offered one of these in .22 for a Hawke Sidewinder that we had laying around (we shoot Night Force scopes on our Powder Burners and PCPs as hubby and I are both sponsored by them in PRS series). We told him he could have it but but he was like no i won't accept it for free so we took the gun. It's been a fun tinkering gun. We stripped it down, worked the valve, opened the transfer port changed hammer springs to get the power we wanted. We found it really shoots FX Hybrids really well. Like much better then we expected. We dialed it in for a 10 shot string at 2800 down to 2350psi over those ten pushing 46ftlbs with the Hybrids with a SD of 3fps and a ES over those 10 of 13fps. Its not a gun we are going use for anything other then killing Racoons that house up in our two large warehouses as well as possums. So it just stays out in the warehouse and when we see a possum or coon on the security cams we go take him. Some of the shots are rather long when we are at one warehouse and see a pest at the other the shots wind up being between 70 and 130y. This gun at 46ftlbs wuth the Hybrids is deff capable of Racoons heads at 120y. 50y 10 shot groups with the Hybrids are around 1 inch and 10 shot 100y groups are 1.5 to 1.75 minute. It won't shoot with our high end guns but that's to be expected. For what it is it's very good. The only pellet that it really performed with was JSB 15.89s at 28ftlbs. We really couldn't get it to shoot anything else worth a darn. The hybrids and 15.89s was the only thing that shot. At its current tune it did shoot .218 H&N 21 grain slugs decently at well but only out to about 70y and opened quickly after but at 50y they shot amazingly well and super flat. It's a fun little project gun that's for sure and the barrel in ours deff allows you to shoot Hybrids well but that is only once you really get them moving and you will have a very short shot string. We could run a shot string that's prolly 20 to 25 shots with a ES of 25 to 30fps with power levels around 38 to 40ftlbs. I will say this until we got to 40ftlbs and higher the Hybrids wouldn't preform. Once we hit 40ftlbs the accuracy just got better and better with every 10fps we added up until we maxed out at 46ftlbs. That required heavy valve work and is about all that your gonna be able to get without going to a really short shot string with a super heavy hammer spring and heavier hammer along with over filled fill pressure. If we went that route starting with say a fill of around 3300psi down to say 2900psi over ten shots with say NSA 27.5s 55 to 58ftlbs would be possible. They route we went 46ftlbs after some modding and you have a fantastic slug slinger that you can throw in the truck and not worry about scratches and such on your high end guns. Also the trigger with some polishing time and a couple parts can be made in to a pretty decent trigger. Ours has about .25 inch of first stage take up and a fairly defined stop with zero creep and a 1.2lb break weight and we drilled and tapped a over travel set screw in the back of the trigger guard. Not a match grade trigger by any means but a very good trigger by anyone's standard. Hubby and I are spoiled by owning world class guns that have world class triggers. So triggers are held to a very high degree by us and after some work this trigger is very usable... Out the box... YUCK.
Great review Dan. Nice solid gun. Bargain! Wills magic working as ever , definitely need the wills trigger, the look alone of the new trigger is worth the money. Top man will met a few times, he is a true gentleman. Don't forget Dan 25 cal review. Sorry to keep knocking on about it. Love 25 cal. Cheers m8
Thanks Lawson! Yeah those Welsh Willy triggers are fantastic. Will is a top bloke and he sent us a couple through as soon as he heard we were filming. We will get a .25 reviewed mate I haven't forgotten but the awkward thing is I don't stock many .25 springers at the moment. I'll keep my eyes open if one pops up locally though. Thanks Lawson and I'll see what I can do.
Bought one and found the bolt roughness was due to the greas having metal fillings in it , stripped the gun down and cleaned it and relubricated the bolt and it is now silky smooth . I was impressed how well balanced the gun felt and mine is a .22 and is fairly accurate. But I think smk listend about the scope as mine is a ao front adjustable .
Hi Ian! That's great to hear, hopefully they'll sort the trigger out too.. if they do even out of the box the Airacobra will be an excellent bit of kit. In the meantime if you still have it I can't recommend a WW trigger enough. Thanks Ian and I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your Airacobra.
Great revue Dan . I really enjoyed the show - as always ! ,it is a very attractive rifle and would look so much better with the Sabre colouring , shame it's a bit of a porker though ! , it's even heavier than my HW 90 which is about as heavy as I can reasonably manage , I shall certainly shoulder one as soon as I see one in the flesh , as for the scope well I think that par for the course when they're effectively just bunging in a freebie , It took over an hour to watch this due to constant interruptions but it was worth the wait . Cheers Dan keep up the good work .
Hi Richard! Thanks for the comments mate it means a lot. Yeah she's pretty weighty make no mistake about that but it does its best to hide it, as you can hopefully see in the vid it's brilliantly balanced which does make the rifle much easier to handle. Hahaha I feel your pain regarding interruptions, when I was filming I had to stop for helicopters, a tractor and two Apache gunships that flew over ridiculously low (amazing sound though!) They'll get me one of these times I'm sure haha.
@@bigdansairguns83 I watch Your videos at work as I have no internet at home , so whilst they provide a much needed respite from the demands of approx 1000 Uni Students they also service my wish to know more about the objects of My desire .They also give Me a good insight into its nature and suitability for my purpose's , potentially saving me many hours of regret not to mention the money I might otherwise waste on something not fit for my purposes . Hopefully one of these days I'll manage to make it to Your neck of the woods and pop into the shop for visit . Keep up the excellent work . Thanks again .
Hi Dan loving your reviews which are absolutely spot n in my opinion. Through watching your reviews I have bought the SMK M22 in .22 ,it’s a brilliant gun . It is very accurate and easy to use with a good Hawke scope on . I have also bought the Remington Airacobra in .77 which is once again spot on and easy to us. I have also taken your advice and bought a replacement trigger unit from Welsh Willy . Now I would really appreciate a link from you please demonstrating how to change the trigger over please .
That's quite a piece of kit for the price. As for the weight, I have a .177 cal HW100 TK with a Hawke Airmax scope and that weighs in at 10.2 pounds so to me the Remington does not seem particularly heavy.
Hi Pete, I find that depending how a rifle is balanced can greatly change the perception of its weight. The Airacobra is pretty centred regarding balance so it doesn't feel as heavy as you may expect. I'm very much like you Pete I actually prefer a heftier rifle.. these new fancy PCP's that are feather light feel like toys! I always like how Boris the blade puts it in Snatch:"Heavy is good.. heavy is reliable, if it does not work you can always hit them with it".
Cracking honest review, and it’s nice to see that on a budget gun it has if I’m correct a metal trigger guard, unlike something like a daystate huntsman regal which costs about double which they use a cheep plastic guard!
Hi Jonathan. You're 100% correct, the trigger guard is all metal and in general the rifle feels ridiculously solid. Regarding plastics you see it on all rifles these days, even the AGT Vulcan which SRP's at around £1350 uses a plastic trigger, plastic trigger guard and not particularly pleasant plastic magazines. The funniest way of looking into it is comparing the Vulcan to even an SMK B2 which has very little plastic (even the foresight is metal). Except the B2 is only £48!
Hey BD, cracking review again. I've been following your reviews for some time now, and In my opinion you shouldn't listen to those saying to stop waffling. You are you and its your character, it for me is what makes the reviews what they are, informative and fun. Good job. Do you think you will get your hands on any of the remington dominance series guns. Would be good to check them out. They look very interesting. Fingers crossed.
Hi Andrew! Thanks ever so much for the kind comments mate. I welcome all criticisms as it's the only way we'll grow at the end of the day and I'd like to be as community driven as possible. I'll always ramble a little bit but we'll maybe streamline the review slightly. We'll see what happens. Regarding the big Remmy's I'm very interested at taking a look at those! From what I've heard from my suppliers who have been speccing them up and handling them before they go on sale they're incredibly impressed. We'll have to take a look mate. Cheers Andrew!
@@bigdansairguns83 jeeze, when you actually think about it the list of airguns and aircraft with similar nomenclature is almost endless, can' find a Sopwith Camel airgun tho😀😀😀😀😀👍 Oh I meant to say, I've put about 1500 Accupels through my Walther Rotex RM8 UC and it is a superb gun for my first PCP, better accuracy than my HW97K and a doddle to put an 8 shot mag in a sub 5p hole at 25 yards.
@@ambientfish1369 The Rotex's are excellent rifles mate and I'm glad to hear you're getting on well with it. You can't fault a Walther barrel! The BSA Camel haha. It's too bad that we don't have a manufacturer using tank names, then we could have the Weihrauch Dicker max haha.
I don't own any of the entry market pcps , I'm lucky enough to own a couple very expensive daystates etc, however I'm very impressed with the stuff from Artemis (snow peak) that's why I asked if they made this it does remind me of their stuff.
Oh go on Mr Daystate rub it in haha. The lower end gear is really picking up steam now and I still say that the Artemis M16 my favourite PCP that I stock (although the Airacobra and the Puncher Pro 500 come very close). The little Gamo Phox's are excellent as well. Thanks mate!
Just found your channel. Wow great review, i own one of these and i now def want one of those triggers shame hes out of stock. Thanks for the awesone vid keep up the great work
Hi Shane, They're an eye catching rifle aren't they? Let me know how you get on mate. Also trust me on the trigger and treat yourself to the Welsh Willy trigger. The world is going to end soon apparently so you owe it to yourself.
@@bigdansairguns83 Hi Dan, I will do mate. It's my first PCP rifle I've always had springers, currently got an HW77 that I've 've owned since 1986 so a couple of nice rifles in my cabinet. Cheers.
Just found your reviews and I love your videos. You do great reviews and gives people a great idea about the guns. But even though its balanced well , its crazy its 9.50 mine is 5.25 unscoped. But anyways keep up the great work!
It is definitely a porker but it's deceptively light when you actually put it to the shoulder. It'll still feel heavier than your current rifle but you'd be surprised how easy it is to handle the Airacobra all things considered. Thanks mate!
Hi Shane, Yes mate this is the one regret I have with the video. It's a very simple task though simply requiring the shooter to knock out one pin and then simply replace the trigger blades. After that remove a small plate at the rear of the unit and job's a goodun! Cheers mate.
Big Dan's Airguns looked up ,his sight and appears I can get a trigger for 24 quid , for the Gamo Phox, so after the lockdown might get one and also Phil at the rat works has given me a price on putting in a regulator and tune, , to double the shot count , only 65 to 70 shots per charge standard in 177 ,, so the air a cobra, beats the Phox on shot count , infact impressive gun for the price , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Hi Top Shot, that's the questions that's the hardest one for any airgunner to answer, both calibres have their pros and cons and it entirely depends on what you plan to do with the rifle. I personally prefer .177 in all of my rifles simply because it's what I've always used.. that being said though each calibre has its own advantages. .177's tend to have a flatter trajectory due to the fact that the pellet will be travelling almost 200fps faster than the .22 (800ftps vs 600fps depending on pellet) so longer ranged shooting will be easier with the .177 due to less drop. .22's on the other hand are a larger and heavier pellet that most people would recommend for hunting due to the fact that on average they'll impart more energy into your quarry whereas a .177 may overpenetrate. The other advantage with .22 regarding PCP's is that they'll use less air on average and so in .22 form the Airacobra could possibly be capable of 120-130 shots per fill. The downside to the .22 is more drop especially beyond 30 yards in my experience but a lighter pellet can mitigate this somewhat. As mentioned I'm a .177 man personally and I've used my .177's for hunting with little issues so far but everybody has their own preferences when it comes to calibre. Thanks mate and sorry if I've made it even more confusing for you haha.
@@bigdansairguns83 Thats the answer i wanted to hear really. I always like to ask "people in the know" that question. i do prefer 177. Many do say, that. 22 is only the better choice if you are going to go down the FAC route. People always say.22 for hunting even in sub 12ftlb but shot placement is paramount as you have to be able to hit the bloody thing and with 177 it is much more forgiving and when its travelling nearly 200 fps faster than its bigger brother, its more than up to the job of hunting as well as target work. . All the best from lancashire.
Hi Dan, Ive just got my new Airacobra, amd the welsh willie trigger is on the way. Would you consider doing a video of replacing this trigger unit, or a similar one? Or would you be able to offer any tips or advice on the process of swapping the trigger unit on the gun? Cheers
Welsh willy is a legend! They do some of the best air rifle tuning kits ever. Got 1 in my hw 95 & bsa lightning. Pellet on pellet out to 35 yards amazing results..
Very nice. I want one of these now. One thing.....how were you pressuring this gun? A tank or a manual pump? I like springers because I like simple. Is a manual pump okay? Thanks.
Hi Gruffy, They're more than a bit eye catching aren't they? I use the Artemis K30 to fill our PCP's up however anything with a standard air cylinder isn't usually too bad to pump. It's the buddy bottles that feel like torture! Thanks mate.
Hi Roger. To be fair matey off memory and during testing it didn't really make much of a difference at all, it shot fine without having to find a "sweet spot". That said you'll really need a better trigger unit on it to get the most out of it.
Hi Ian! There's a few subtle differences between them such as the bolt etc and of course that lovely stock on the Airacobra but the actions are almost identical I believe. Both are great rifles but if you want a slightly lighter gun on yourself and your wallet I'd actually lean slightly towards the Commander.
Yes nice, but: again no thumb shelf for thumb - up shooters, short barrel tenon, middle finger knuckle busting trigger guard ? Filler cap bound to go lost.... LOP looks shortish - try it without that heavy winter coat.. BUT: Sling swivel studs included ! Big THX !
Hi Hendrick, If you like places to rest your thumbs then the Kral Pro rifles will suit you perfectly mate. Regarding your concerns with the trigger guard I've got larger hands than some and I didn't have any issues at all. Losing the filler cap would more be down to operator error than a fault with the rifle and whilst you're right it could be possible to lose the cap.. you won't lose the fill probe at least as it's built into the rifle! I'd love to be able to try it without the coat but it was cold enough to freeze the balls off of a brass monkey out there haha. The sling swivels are very much appreciated mate as the gun does come out a little heavy. If I was keeping one as a hunting rifle I think a sling would be my first addition alongside the WW trigger. Thanks Hendrick!
Hi Phillip. Thanks mate as always it means a lot. It's a heavy thing to be sure but it's a brilliantly balanced gun which does make it quite a bit more manageable and I could hold it seriously still. That being said though I think a sling would be the first modification if I was to take it hunting haha. Thanks Phillip.
I have the aircobra with the Will trigger , do you find the safety doesn't work with the new trigger installed? Mine don't, as a performance trigger it's amazing little sensitive but wow what a trigger 😳
Dan, What length is the Reach of Pull, plse ? If short, it would at least facilitate an adjustable diy butt pad ! And how long is rifled part of the barrel vs empty space of the muzzle piece ? Barrel band is metal ? This rifle would look a very nice HFT Starter (and hopefully, "finisher"..) THX - also for your kind reply. !
Hey mate. The bolt is very "gets the job done" and to its credit I had no issues with it. Regarding the trigger it really does transform the rifle and to be fair to the Remington most guns would have to have a scope bought for them anyways. The Airacobra definitely brings enough to the table to be worth a look and that stock although a bit too bright is second to none.
Hi Dan having bought my first springer around 1 week ago (remmington sabre 177) I'm already contemplating buying another is this something you'd suggest I'm sorta torn between this and and an m22 what's your thoughts
Great review .. and a superb looking , and performing rifle ... and AT LAST a ambidextrous stock .. oh joy of joys ... together with a very good price I think its,a winner in my book ... will my mrs buy me one for crimbo? Or will I have too get one myself? ... watch this space To sum up Super rifle , and a entertaining and comprehensive review ... Excellent

How do these largely Chinese manufactured airguns compare with premium offerings from Europe as regards accuracy & reliability? I would interested to see a comparison between a premium springer & pcp & equivalent Chinese.
Hi Alun, We've actually got something like that planned with our next few videos comparing a Chinese rifle against a very highly regarding German rifle. In my experience as someone who sells both German and Chinese air rifles the Chinese are actually if anything more reliable than the Germans despite the common consensus. The advantage that the more expensive rifles have is that the barrels tend to be slightly less pellet fussy. That being said once you find the right pellet for the Chinese rifles they're every bit as accurate as the German rifles from my experience. Plus in the long run it's far easier to get tuning parts for the Chinese rifles compared to European. Thanks Alun and I hope this helps.
@@bigdansairguns83 thanks mate, I'll be looking forward to that, as I'm looking for another pcp but want to keep the price sensible. So I might just come and get it from you.
Just fitted a WW trigger to my airacobra today, found that the trigger safety no longer stops the trigger from actuating. Has anyone else had this issue? Wondering if anyone has any smart solutions before I get my files out
@@robertbelfitt2975 spoke to Will directly and found that his latest batch had that common issue for some reason - can't quite remember now as it was a good year ago. In the end I used a hammer and punch to wrap the safety guard further around the geometry of the trigger. Goodbye warranty! 😅 I don't use the rifle anymore since a pellet fell backwards off the single shot tray and inside the receiver, blocking the hammer from hitting the valve rendering it unable to fire. Should have spent the extra £££ on something higher quality
@@Doctor_Boz I had a simmer issue with the single shot tray , but managed to strip and sort, for the money I think its spot on , it's certainly accurate....haven't got a chrono but it kills cleanly out to 40 yards ...
Bought one 4 months ago after seeing this review, £320 and the scope is AO and OK (usable) bought a trigger and fitted before shooting so cant comment on the standard one, (put one on my Pest Controller too) Mine is .22 and is just as accurate as your .177 @ 30 yds, JSB 15.89s . The build, feel and quality is outstanding at the price point. My only grip is magazine availability like were can you get spare mags from ?
Hi Paul, your local dealer should be able to get a hold of them for you or if not get in touch with me through the website at bigdansairguns.co.uk and I'll see what I can do. Thanks Paul.
Hi James, great cheap scopes that I always recommend are the Nikko Stirling Mountmaster's which can be found on Ebay cheap or the Milbro Clearview's. The Nikko has the better reticle but I find the Milbro's to be clearer. Richter Optik scopes are also good just make sure you get one with an adjustable objective or AO. Cheers James and I hope this helps.
👋🏾 this gun is not in the USA? Yet Remington is a USA company and I’m pretty sure it’s made in China. Nice looking gun how many magazines? Single shot tray? Who makes the stand?
Hi mate. The rifle comes with the one magazine and no single shot tray is included unfortunately. The stand is a Deben rifle maintenance stand. Thanks bud.

Not bad for a Chinese rifle, in my opinion the "safety " is far from safe, if the rifle is loaded and you go to flick the safety on and miss , you will hit the trigger and off it goes, not very safe at all, 😁👍
Hi Phillip! This is a rare instance I'll disagree with you here. The safety toggle is higher up than the trigger blade and you'd have to intentionally pull low to hit the trigger. The safety is also spring loaded so even if you accidentally graze it somewhat it'll still snap into safe. Plus without the WW trigger upgrade it'd take forever to accidentally discharge anyways as the pull is longer than the Empire state building.😂
Hi Lynden. Haha yeah I can go on sometimes when I'm "In the zone" so to speak. I'll be cutting it back a bit and further streamlining the reviews so we stay sub 1 hour if we can (30 mins preferably.) Cheers Lynden!
Airguns are very similar to other businesses and such on the market. Usually there will be one equipment manufacturer that will allow other companies to put there branding on them. You can see this with vans, cars, and even washing machines. The Chinese aren't the only ones to do this neither, take a look at the new Webley's and Kral rifles for instance. Weihrauch is also badged as Beeman in the USA.
Awesome review Dan, I've just bought one 👍🏻 changed the scope already, now all I need is a WW trigger. You are right though, she is HEAVY! Any idea where I can get extra magazines from? Thanks
Update on the above comment. Worse rifle I've ever owned. Went through 3 before getting my money back. Leaked air constantly, couldn't seem to get a tight group, and as mentioned yeah it's heavy. I even replaced the trigger with Welsh willy upgrade.
I cannot understand how a poor scope can be that poor on a pcp? There are vids on You Tube of people putting cheap scopes on center fires and getting better results than that. Maybe its broken. Even the cheap Chinese scopes I have wont spray pellets around like that on an accurate gun.
Hey mate. The scope is useable.. but it's far from good. The problem is that it's a fixed objective scope with a thick reticle. At 25 yards with 4x zoom it's crystal clear, take it to 8x (my usual zoom setting) and it's like someone has smothered it in vaseline. As mentioned in the video it'll get you shooting but there's plenty better on the market.
Dan's hit the nail on the head with is rifle. I have the .22 version and yes, it is heavy, but what a great rifle. I highly recommend this beauty, you'll not regret it.

I was really impressed with the 5p covering the grouping!!!

Shoutout to you, and Welsh Willy!
Especially Will that trigger is fantastic.
That's quite a piece of kit for the price. As for the weight, I have a .177 cal HW100 TK with a Hawke Airmax scope and that weighs in at 10.2 pounds so to me the Remington does not seem particularly heavy.
Hi Pete,
I find that depending how a rifle is balanced can greatly change the perception of its weight.
Nice review Dan. I'm tempted🤔🤔😁
Nice review Dan and some aviation nerdness, now I'm waiting for the Remington Phantom.🤩👍
Hahaha hi mate.
I'm still waiting to see if they go all out and create the Mustang, it's too bad that BSA have taken the Lightning eh?
@@bigdansairguns83 jeeze, when you actually think about it the list of airguns and aircraft with similar nomenclature is almost endless, can' find a Sopwith Camel airgun tho😀😀😀😀😀👍
Oh I meant to say, I've put about 1500 Accupels through my Walther Rotex RM8 UC and it is a superb gun for my first PCP, better accuracy than my HW97K and a doddle to put an 8 shot mag in a sub 5p hole at 25 yards.
Hope you keep them in a nice gun brag...i mean bag......
Just found your channel. Wow great review, i own one of these and i now def want one of those triggers shame hes out of stock.
Thanks for the awesone vid keep up the great work
Brilliant review, mate. Please sort out the audio, too much noise. I would have like to see adjusted trigger vs. aftermarket trigger.
Went out and bought one today, looking forward to trying it out.
Hi Shane,
They're an eye catching rifle aren't they?
I'm lookimg for alternatives to the Nove Vista Alpha as they seem to have disappeared and this seems viable, although much steeper on the pocket...
Pity you didn’t show us on vid how you changed the trigger , Dan, looks impressive for the money for sure , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
Hi Shane,
Yes mate this is the one regret I have with the video.
Great review DAN..always..😎❤
Haha thanks Douglas!
Should really have done both triggers at 31 yd with the konus for a direct comparison
Another great review dan.
Thanks Robert it means a lot.
Only so many ways you can make a gun but reminds me of my daystate before they went all electronic depending on which way the hammer is cocked
Great review pal, hope you’re well
Hi Jon,
Cheers mate I'm doing well thanks.. it's the weather that's being the main pain in the backside. How are you getting on with the Kral?
Loving it pal 👍🏽 glad your well
Great review dan
Thanks Roy!
Good evening Dan, if you had to choose one sub 12ftlbs rifle calibre in. 177 and. 22 what would be your favourite calibre? All the best.
Hi Top Shot,
that's the questions that's the hardest one for any airgunner to answer, both calibres have their pros and cons and it entirely depends on what you plan to do with the rifle.
People always say.22 for hunting even in sub 12ftlb but shot placement is paramount as you have to be able to hit the bloody thing and with 177 it is much more forgiving and when its travelling nearly 200 fps faster than its bigger brother, its more than up to the job of hunting as well as target work. . All the best from lancashire.
not sure if my store messed up but mine came with a adjustable parallax rifle scope not that im complaining lol
First comment made , Wow. I will comment on the video, when I've watched it but have been looking forward to this one .
Hi Richard!
Let me know what you think mate, it's a very interesting rifle to be sure and a great start into the PCP arena for Remington.
Link for the trigger setup ? And what scope would you recommend.
Thanks.
Hi Gruffy,
They're more than a bit eye catching aren't they? I use the Artemis K30 to fill our PCP's up however anything with a standard air cylinder isn't usually too bad to pump. It's the buddy bottles that feel like torture!
Thanks mate.
Pressure curve tightest group at what bar
Hi Roger. To be fair matey off memory and during testing it didn't really make much of a difference at all, it shot fine without having to find a "sweet spot". That said you'll really need a better trigger unit on it to get the most out of it.
What's the difference apart from price , with beeman commander and this , are they the same gun ?
Big THX !
Hi Hendrick,
If you like places to rest your thumbs then the Kral Pro rifles will suit you perfectly mate.
Nice review dan , to heavy for me , but a good rifle for the price 😁👍
This is one great rifle
I have the aircobra with the Will trigger , do you find the safety doesn't work with the new trigger installed? Mine don't, as a performance trigger it's amazing little sensitive but wow what a trigger 😳
Hi Dan I have got one of there's air rifle, where do I go to get the triger from
Hi Lee!
Best thing to do is check Will's site. Search for woodfield GCP in Google and it should pop straight up.
Thanks Lee!
hmm, an ok heavy gun if you spend another £80+ for scope and trigger group, the cocking lever looks a bit workman like?
Hi Dan what's your opinion on the Hawk 3-12x50 mill dot scope.
Hi Dan having bought my first springer around 1 week ago (remmington sabre 177) I'm already contemplating buying another is this something you'd suggest I'm sorta torn between this and and an m22 what's your thoughts

Thanks for catching out that gaffe Mark.
How do these largely Chinese manufactured airguns compare with premium offerings from Europe as regards accuracy & reliability? I would interested to see a comparison between a premium springer & pcp & equivalent Chinese.
Hi Alun,
We've actually got something like that planned with our next few videos comparing a Chinese rifle against a very highly regarding German rifle.
Would like to get that trigger for my commander.
Hi Dan, i got the WW trigger put it in my Airacobra but it does not work like yours did ? in fact the safety does not work any more? can you help?

@@bigdansairguns83 thanks mate, I'll be looking forward to that, as I'm looking for another pcp but want to keep the price sensible. So I might just come and get it from you.
Just fitted a WW trigger to my airacobra today, found that the trigger safety no longer stops the trigger from actuating. Has anyone else had this issue? Wondering if anyone has any smart solutions before I get my files out
Had the same issue ...
@@robertbelfitt2975 spoke to Will directly and found that his latest batch had that common issue for some reason - can't quite remember now as it was a good year ago. In the end I used a hammer and punch to wrap the safety guard further around the geometry of the trigger. Goodbye warranty! 😅
I don't use the rifle anymore since a pellet fell backwards off the single shot tray and inside the receiver, blocking the hammer from hitting the valve rendering it unable to fire. Should have spent the extra £££ on something higher quality
@@Doctor_Boz I had a simmer issue with the single shot tray , but managed to strip and sort, for the money I think its spot on , it's certainly accurate....haven't got a chrono but it kills cleanly out to 40 yards ...
Hi Dan. How much is the trigger upgrade for the Aircobra. Cheers dan keep up the great reviews.
Hi Dan, will the upgrade trigger fit a remington tyrant springer? And if so here can I buy it f
Great review waiting on one now I will follow your advice on scope and trigger could you recommend a good cheap ish scope
Hi James,
great cheap scopes that I always recommend are the Nikko Stirling Mountmaster's which can be found on Ebay cheap or the Milbro Clearview's.
The Nikko has the better reticle but I find the Milbro's to be clearer. Richter Optik scopes are also good just make sure you get one with an adjustable objective or AO.

Do these guns have regulators fitted at all? If not does anyone make one for it?
Not bad for a Chinese rifle, in my opinion the "safety " is far from safe, if the rifle is loaded and you go to flick the safety on and miss , you will hit the trigger and off it goes, not very safe at all, 😁👍
Hi Phillip!
This is a rare instance I'll disagree with you here. The safety toggle is higher up than the trigger blade and you'd have to intentionally pull low to hit the trigger. The safety is also spring loaded so even if you accidentally graze it somewhat it'll still snap into safe.
Plus without the WW trigger upgrade it'd take forever to accidentally discharge anyways as the pull is longer than the Empire state building.😂
can i get this gun? and where if possible.

wonder why other name it has from other companies? as other Chinese rifles do.
Looks like a Remington Gamo to me looks like Remington had Gamo make them an air rifle and then Remington put their name on it

I think the gun should come without the scope and really should be about £100 cheaper before i would consider it
It's the same stock as my warhawk
