- Destiny 2 The Final Shape - Solo Liminality Strike Completion - The Final Shape Campaign New Strike. Just a video showing my first solo playthrough completion of the campaign on legend difficulty, this time the new strike Liminality.
Posting this as a solo clear for the full dialogue as always I do, not as some sort of challenge.
I will be taking the first clears a bit slower as I go through. As always, I won't post any major story spoilers in the thumbnails outside of mission names.

So there’s a cavern full of Ahamkara bones in The Traveler…
And The Ahamkara are able to wield both light and dark in tandem (With even a dead one being able to barely imitate the witness in sending someone through the portal)…
_Could it be that the first generation of Ahamkara were spawned into existence when the race that would become The Witness tried to enact The Final Shape the first time around? That they were born from _*_”Their Wish”_*_ for perfection?_
That is actually a interesting theory
It seems like a good idea! If i remember correctly however the Ahamkara and the Worms were told to have "escaped" the garden from which the Gardener and the Winnower played their game. I may be wrong on this. But this thought of yours possibly could explain the duality of creatures like them and the proto-worms!
Damn the dialogue was extreme on this one, I genuinely feel awful about zavala
Lol me and my fire team got lost for 50 min. It is sick how big the environment is. This strike really felt open-world. It was the first time I felt lost in a mission, and the art of the pale heart is amazing.

It's a pretty straight forward and linear strike. How could you possibly get lost?
@@jonahbrown5669there's a wierd bug and its not just me but a lot of people when they enter they only see one objective and that go through the pass and it stayed there the entire time 😅

Thank you for this, when I got to this part it loaded me into a completed strike. Left me a bit confused since there’s a lot of tense dialogue I missed
Zavala chose to go through the mines of Moria
When I played this strike I was really hoping the giant Ahamkara skull at the end would talk to you or even Zavala. Would have been interesting especially since even tho the boss is called a Tormentor, he’s called Tormentor of Ahamkara. Now that he’s dead they are “free” of his torment. Idk, would have been kinda cool

Genuinely one of the most visually compelling strikes ever. Also it's kinda cool bungie is referencing the 'liminality' trend that went around recently
Zavala's lines with Keith David have a weird delivery when the context is stressed/demanding.... maybe its just Keith but I feel he's speaking too fast when he declares/announces something .... or maybe just sounds a lot too much like not-Obama in R&M because it reminds me of the quick remarks.

Maybe it could possibly be the writing of his lines? I really wanna believe in Keith but damn does it hurt to hear Zavala saying "No one lets me do anything" which Im pretty sure is exactly what Not-Obama has said before and damn does it hurt my head trying to not imagine it.
@@TH_Sofa like every VA change of a character, letting go of a the voice after a a few years is a big change. You’ll get used to it. I just remember it as the Arbiter or Srgnt. Foley speaking to us but with Zavala’s hidden grief. Just try not to think about the parts that piss you off much. That’ll ruin the character more. If it does bother you too much, either mute ur audio when he speaks up or just distract yourself from it. But I implore you to try and accept the voice and not think negatively about it
Even though that rising lava room threw me for a spin i still think it makes this strike hella fun, at least for the first time playing it blind.

agreed, had fun running this strike and some of the mechanics to bring down the shield and progress in that portal room.
@Esoterickk - do you think hammerhead is a suitable replacement for commemoration if you don't have one? Is there a benefit to commemoration over others? I see you use it a ton. Wish I had one!
Commemoration has the DSC origin trait which regenerates ability energy for every instance of damage.

Hammerhead can be as viable if you have a good roll. I've been using the killing tally, fourth times a charm roll you get from the quest. Basically, let's you fire at a boss without reloading if you're getting precision hits. Not to mention bonus damage from killing tally
what do you use to play solo in matchmade activities? im assuming its probably the d2 solo enabler program but id like clarity cuz ive been too scared to use it since they added battle eye back to the game
Hey, I stopped playing D2 back in Witch Queen but I'm quite sure BattleEye was already in back then. I still used an Solo Enabler program back then and was not punished
Maybe because very few people can get in the game?
i remember back in season of splicer, on ps4 we could enter a normal strike alone by manually changing the device’s time to few hours earlier, i dont know if it’s still a thing or you can do it on other platforms as well

@@Eisenthorn4179yeah they added it back about a year after beyond light came out, i used it a lot up until then and i assumed it was probably still fine to use after but i really didnt want to risk losing my account

How do you get into the strikes solo? I would love to be able to just chill and mess about with weapons and builds on my own in strikes.
Change the time on ur platform to a random time of the year. Server's should load without anyone else
If you’re on PC look up D2 solo mode. It’s a power shell script that doesn’t interact with D2 at all so it’s not bannable.

Honestly, I would like someone to make an AI cover of Lance for all of Zavala’s Final Shape and beyond lines…
Not because I’m miffed Keith David took over (He’s better at being Zavala than what I had first imagined), but because it’s a damn shame Lance, one of Destiny’s biggest fans the same as us, stumbled and fell 6 feet under right before the finish line. It would probably mean a lot to him to have him here in spirit.

I mean in this case it’s clear Lance would have LOVED to do Final Shape voice work, so it’d be giving him the chance in death what he couldn’t do (and what he WAS going to do were he still around) in life.

Yikes. I am just not getting Keith David as Zavala. And so many of the lines in this strike are just cringe. The "pulsing guts" interchange. And Zavala arguing with Cayde at the end sounds like a Ricky and Morty bit. This DLC has been absolute low-effort, low-quality from Bungie.

My man, it’s been out for 1 day (most of which wasn’t playable) and Most of the content isn’t out. Imo the campaign has been the best we’ve ever gotten. Far better than lightfall, and imo better than WQ. The pacing is great, the main and sub-plots have been really good, and the raid matters for the story for the first time in a long time.
I get that you’re either trolling or just complaining because it’s fun to dunk on bungie but let’s get a bit more creative if you’re going to do that.
