In india these things ats used in every house , today I came to know i am supporting sustainable development, people do anything for earning throw youtube .
I’ll make an argument for sustainably made disposable towels bc sometimes you have to clean up things that shouldn’t go down the drain into the water supply so it’s better to discard
Just be like an asian, black & latino momma. Save all the jars & squeeze bottles & containers for something else in the future. And none of us use paper towels for cleaning countertops. Thing is tho, you can't be lazy coz you have to wash over & over again.
Ancestors watching their descendants forgo putting a synthetic cylinder into COMPUTERIZED MACHINE to brew their morning drink, rediscover the rag, rename the word “use” and stop buying empty glass jars? …Wait, your saying my descendants will buy empty glass jars when it’s easier and cheaper to find jars full of actual food?
No, but seriously, what would you say to your ancestors, that we regularly buy rolls of disposable parchment then use it to clean up spills and dry our hands?, or that we buy individually wrapped cups of herbs that we stick into a robot that turns it into a piece of practilly indestructible by nature in the short term and a cup of energy drink. How you you tell them that at one point you went out your way to find and buy jars specifically not containing any food, and were willing to pay the same as or more than similar glass filled with nothing.
Some grocery stores in the US have a whole aisle of coffee beans (top-down dispensary like different colored m&m’s at the candy store) and you can either use their paper pouches or your own container
I buy some glass jars/containers at the second hand store. They are usually less then a dollar and SO CUTE!
I do a lot of dehydrating and freezing food. I use glass jars constantly.
