Love the fact that even when the knocked the pole down, she praised her horse. That is GOOD horsemanship. Even if a horse doesn't clear a jump, praise it for having a go, because next time you jump it, the horse will not think "Well my rider didn't praise me last time." It will think "Right lets do this, and lets do it right." But smoking while instructing? Disgusting :(

how is it about the animals how they are treated and not whether it is a six year old or notand when I jump I don't have my horse in the side so much that it really flinchesit is up to everyone how he rides
I am concerned with how the horses are treated and before the jump that is really not for meIf you think it is okay that horses should be treated like this, then please horses are a mirror of the soul in were afraid of the jump, the horse is also in the escapes and that is to hack horse, does not make it better. I think it's really not ok to hoe a horse, that's really the very last thing you can do I don't want to fight with you or anything, I just wanted to say that I didn't like how the horse was kicked at all. I mean the others jumped really well but the one with the black horse really kicked it in the side, that's what I was about

EDIT: Hello it’s Sam from 2020, yes I know the goat is not president and I’m extremely sad about it, but the poor goat probably just doesn’t want to be in charge during corona. Right. But most importantly, coaches do not know how to teach children, they are not even professionals. They do not correct mistakes(it is necessary to jump in the center and not from the side), children in the saddles are like bags of potatoes(they do not hold themselves correctly, horses are hurt because of constant blows on the back). Most children do not know how to insert their foot into the stirrups correctly(the legs are inserted completely into the stirrup, if they fall, the leg can get stuck and the horse will drag the rider along the floor, this can lead to death!!). The floor consists of sawdust(they can get stuck in the hoof and lead to suppuration). The reins should be held closer to the horse(to have more control). AND MANY MORE MISTAKES !! And they still smoke! The goat should not be there, it is dangerous. I don't even know how they get paid for this

abbe6820 abbe6820 your like right and wrong any animal should be praised after a training fault or knocking something because it shows them that it’s not bad if they know down a rail because it’s going to happened

    • @maunomato
      @maunomato 5 лет назад +1

If horse knocks over a rail, it's not their fault. It's mostly riders(but can't blame anyone, they're trying and learning..that's only what really matters here). Horses can jump always(if they are trained to jump ofc). That's why teamwork is number one when it comes to jumping. The rider needs to learn how to jump with the horse and horse learns how to jump with the rider. You need to listen to the horse, do teamwork, to succeed. And *always praise* . *Never scold* a horse.
If the horse does something wrong, it's the humans fault.
Btw. horses aren't the type of animals that learn from scolding(don't know a single animal that actually does), they'll just lose trust towards you, get scared and other shit.. so don't do that.. / :]

Who needs to have lessons or go to a riding school when you have the RUclips comment section! 😂This is to all the people who are hating
    1. People are allowed to kick their horses, it's not like they got massive Spurs on!
    2. Gypsy Cobs/Vanners can jump, just because they're not bred for jumping, doesn't mean they can't do it
    3. The game of 'chase me charlie' is meant to see how high you and your horses can go without help, therefore there is no ground pole or fillers.
Please leave all your petty comments here 👇🏼 I'm not gonna read them anyway. 😂😉

+SaphiraTessa sometimes you do need to kick your horse though like if a pony goes to refuse a jump you need to kick it with whatever side your pony is going out on then it will make it jump it also sometimes it will help if you kick it when you go to jump because if he's going from a trot he's more likely to knock over the jump then he is from a canter

    Ok...
For all you ignorant piggies out there. I can confirm that only two of these horses are actually jumping horses. The rest only jump for fun. Two are dressage horses who were young at this point and weren't confident jumping, but funnily enough, jumping helps with flat work so, yes. We jump them!! I can also say that we are all young riders. We don't jump affiliated, we don't jump consecutively every week. THIS IS FOR FUN!
The reason you can see our heels up or not in the stirrup correctly is because we use our legs and we don't need stirrups as we have been taught to ride with, or without!
The crop/ stick isn't used in this as it isn't allowed in our rules! Because we funnily use our legs!! Instead of hitting the horse to get it over the fence!
Also the pole is uneven! But unfortunately we aren't as lucky to get a beautiful manage, or school to work in. So we make do! Yes, it can be unfair on the horses, but we take their care to be paramount and we always, always, check them over.
We also choose to continue going, as we have two/ three lives/ chances to jump! And we would also carry on going as we are also working on our jumping!
So before you comment saying this isn't 'right', or you definition of 'perfect' ! You can fuck off! As this was fun! Testing our trust in the horse and vice versa!! No, we're not perfect. But nobody is! To see this industry to go from fun, to being dragged in shit by some people, is vile.

The coaches do not know how to teach children, they are not even professionals.

I really love how happy the first girl looks and how she praises her horse. But all of you are mighty brave for trying those jumps! I am just learning to ride so nowhere near trying a jump yet.

Sophie AndWarrior you don’t need stirrups to jump high, you should technically be able to jump with dressage length stirrups as the horse propels you out of the saddle as it jumps.

I really don't think that you should look back when you jump an obstacle, yes I get that you get excited but what if a horse was right in front of you and you bump into it?You should really only look back to the obstacle once you have slowed down or stopped, but you should never look back to the obstacle, something can go horribly wrong.
P.S: IM NOT TRYING TO BE RUDE WHATSOEVER! IM JUST TRYING TO TELL OTHERS NOT TO LOOK BACK ONCE YOU HAVE JUMPED AN OBSTACLE!

Carnivorez AJ You cant ‘bump’ into a horse. The horse you’re riding is still looking forwards even if you’re not. I get what you mean by not looking back, but your horse would probably stop before it ran into the horse infront

My favorite thing is that they praised their horse/pony even when they the knocked a pole because if they knock it they still have a go so when they go back over it the horse/pony will know they will rewarded for going over the jump also the jump should have a ground line so that the horse/pony can see how high the jump is better
