      Violin MD What made you want to attend Medical School? It’s such a big carreer change from Violin! Also I bet I’m not the only one wanting to see some more of you playing the violin, it’s such a peaceful instrument!
      How do you get through a 24 hour shift with so little sleep? If I sleep less than 8 hours my brain stops functioning 😂

    I've just been binge watching your videos for the last few days and they're so interesting! I'm an aspiring doctor and your videos give me such an insight into the medical world (although slightly different as I live in England). Not only are they interesting, they're also very relaxing and calming to watch - thank you so much for making them!

    It's funny, if someone described this channel to me, I would definitely not think of it as something I'd be into. But I saw the Creator on the Rise post yesterday and decided to check it out. To my surprise, these videos are super interesting (and well-made)! Keep up the good work!

    My question: What are some pet peeves of yours about the nurses? Maybe not in a negative way but I know, as a nurse, I have pet peeves about doctors (not all, but certain ones 😂). But I think it would be interesting to see the other side. As a side note...I love your channel, I'm so glad I found it!

    I’ve only recently come across your channel & being a student who’s one week from being a qualified nurse, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying your content.
    It’s great to see the medicine side of things and what you deal with on a day-to-day basis in comparison to a nurse’s day!
    You’re doing an incredible job!

    Fellow junior doctor in here, really impressed with your vibes, I think internal medicine doctors have a bit easier shifts than the surgical residents. Zikra Awosanmi what should you study in university to go to med school?

    • @zikraawosanmi8679
      @zikraawosanmi8679 6 лет назад

      I think that depends on which medical school you want to go to. Some medical schools have specific science and non-science requirements/pre-requisite courses, but for the most part you can pretty much study anything in undergrad. Most pre-med students take biomedical sciences or biology of some sort so they get the basic science knowledge and pre-requisites. General consensus is: do what you love in undergrad and make sure you have the pre-requisite courses! Hope that helps :)

    Hi Sioban, I was wondering if you could do a video about your average week, detailing how many hours worked, patients seen etc? Also I'm not sure how much you know about junior doctors in the UK but I would love to hear your opinion on the differences and which country is better to practice in. I'm currently contemplating graduate entry medicine (which means medicine as a second degree in the UK) however i'm unsure if I want to work for the NHS, work life seems much better for residents where you are, junior doctors here are currently very dissatisfied with hours worked and the quality of patient care, our overun & outstretched ERs etc.
